Best store in Union, SC!! This place is literally like a 2nd home… I swear every employee is awesome and will do whatever they can to help you and make you feel welcome!! These employees feel like a 2nd family to me

Super friendly and helpful staff. They even load your groceries in the car for you. The quality of meats is as fresh as if from the butcher. The prices on meat is better than walmart! I always buy my meat here. The store isnt much to look at but dont let that fool you!

This place as a smell prices are higher than other stores and they don't except EBT card or WIC anymore feel bad for families that have no option to get food because no car ,also beware of expired food when buying food there check dates,this would not be my first place to shop , y'all Walmart deliver if you need food and only have EBT/WIC

Very overpriced and minimal selection. I just moved back to the area and stopped in and feel that this place takes advantage of the poorer individuals that live in this area. I do not live in Monarch but was very suprised to see how unreasonable the pricing is. The only positive thing I have to say is the quality of the fresh meat is good when you can find it on sale. Will not return unless meat is on sale.

Only one cash register open people were lined up to pay the manager on duty was rude and said she wasn't going to open another register we could just wait. She and and another girl were blowing up balloons. People were coming in from church having to wait in line at one register. Not good and I will never go back.

Do not care for the smell in there I only go in there when I have no other choice. This is a 20 year plus review. But they support vets to the max. And that goes a long way with me. And during summer they have certain drinks cheaper than anywhere else in town.

A few reviews below me is a guy that calls galaxy a low class store etc.. And i suppose it is BUT its important for broke ppl.. Great prices.. And yes its an old building.. But no one says you gotta live there 😂. Nice employees as well. I went 3 times before i decided to review.. Solid and Cheap! I minus one star for the lack of complete selection it has times when its not exactly one stop shop for dinner. But definitely worth 4 stars all around.

I have to say it's not that clean and you should always check expired food dates when shopping there because I know for a fact someone got really sick from something they had no was expired by over a year , not to say it smells funny as a secret shopper I would have to give them a minus 10 filthy plus selling expired food I seen expired food on multiple products I've seen moldy peppers mold on seafood pre-packaged I seen repackaged items with the expiration date change this is a little all concerning to me if you ask

This is a little gem of a market and it's right in my neighborhood. The prices are higher than big box stores but they have a lot to offer. ***Udated 6/29/22*** It's the middle of summer and they have a bounty of fresh produce straight from farmers right now!The produce is spotty with potatoes and onions always a good bet. Cabbage is good. Lettuce is pre-bagged but tomatoes when in season are great and it's the only place in town where you can get green tomatoes. Fruit isn't as fresh as I like. Little surprises on the top shelf over the fruit. You've hit the jackpot when they carry various produce fresh from local farmers. Great and diverse meat department. No bakery onsite but they have pre-baked cakes at reasonable prices. Overall they have a good selection of products. I love to run in for a quick item or two. Right now staff wear masks but I don't know if customers need to.

Who loves anything more than a Hometown grocery store!!! Jimmy's Fresh Air Galaxy has always had the freshest produce, the most tender cuts of meat, best selection, the best quality, and the friendliest hospitality around!We love Jimmy's Fresh Air Galaxy!!!

I used to work in the meat department. They have by far the best butcher in town. Most of the time I buy all of my meats here. Very clean, home town atmosphere.

Absolutely love this grocery store!!! Been shopping there since i can remember sitting in the buggy instead of pushing it around. This grocery store has always had the best prices in town and eveything is still the same including some of the same staff that have been there for years...the owner is a great man very friendly and very sociable with every customer. Ill always shop here as long as mr jimmy has it open

We moved to Union from Greenville....the need to change the mop head😂cuz the store smells horrible when you walk in.. It reminds me of kash and karry in Greenville.

Very high and they shut down the dollar store so I don't really go there anymore.Heard stories and rumors about the owner but I don't know if they're true at all, still...They're not flattering...
