Would have gave a zero if I could winter time you get out of your warm car go through the cold get into a warm place makes you want to pee bathroom saying get the key from the associate so you wait through the line then tould to go to another store to use the bathroom almost pissed my pants I've been going to that store at least 4 times a week I will never set foot in it again

I would give 0 stars if I could. Yesterday, one of my friends was harassed and accused of stealing. They made her exit her car and searched her belongings in the car. When footage was reviewed it proved that she did not steal anything. The manager and employees are a joke!

There used to be a couple of really nice helpful young ladies that work in this particular store. I go between this one in West Union & a Seneca branch. It hasn't been long since I've been in the West Union Store but clearly they have fairly new help & these girls are terrible!!👎👎 I was in there about 3:00pm today 5/8/22 when I got home, I was missing a couple of items & my receipt. I spent 52$ in that store, so I called the store to see if I had left a bag with the couple of very enexpensive items, but still mine, right? If I had the receipt to see if I paid for them. Long story short, the "girl" that answered my call was not helpful, infac she was Super Rude & even put the cashier on the phone and she was also Super Rude!! Wow unbelievable!! They wouldn't give me their names, but we're very combative, aggressive and just plain idiotic!! Even hanging up on me when I asked for their names!! Who ever these two are working the 2nd shift on Mother's Day, need to be fired!! RT!!happened to customer service?

The people are very rude and don't want to check you out since the swlf check out has been installed also the whole front counter smells like an ashtray don't waste your money here when Ingles is in the same parking lot

I gave them 4 stars cause I really do like Dollar General a lot, but it seams there's always new employees. Not sure why they can't keep steady employees. I like the Manager she's really nice. Their more expensive than the DG in West Union.

Dollar general has become better and better over the years. They include more items than ever. We visit quite often and buy a lot of our necessities here. The marketing strategy of placing them in so many rural areas was brilliant!

I was looking for a new 'back pack'. Not a regular one that kids carry to school, but a small one to carry like a purse. They didnt have any. But....WOW!! The room in the aisles and the neatness of the whole store!!!EXCELLENT!!!

Normally I would have given this store a much higher review as I go in there quite often! However this time my daughter and I went in and were looking through the cart of reduced school supplies they had out front in the store and my daughter pulls her hand out and starts screaming and crying!! Apparently a wasp had stung her and made a nest in the bottom of the of the cart because she said she saw it go back in there!! So I immediately told the employees about the wasp in the cart and that it had stung my daughter and that they needed to go through the cart so no one else got hurt, thank goodness my daughter isn't allergic, but they said " OK " and gave my daughter some anti bite and itch cream and we finished up our shopping which took about 25 minutes. When we were done though the cart was still there!! They still hadn't moved it, at least so no one else wouldn't get hurt, or was going to go through it!!!!! I just hope no one gets really hurt!!!

Shelves not stocked with enough bounty 6 pk paper towels because of sale and only one person in store running cash register. There may have been someone else there but where were they? As always the cashier Sherry greeted me when i came in and welcomed me to Dollar General. She is always soo friendly.

Rude, rude, rude manager. Entitled and on a power trip. They sold me a curtain rod that did not work, a couple of days ago. I went in to exchange it and the cashier was immediately rude. Rolled her eyes and said rudely "well, I will have to go get a manager!". So, I cheerfully said "okay". I was in a fantastic mood, doing some small things around the house to spruce it up. Manager came back with her, took one look at me and said I can't take that back without a receipt or barcode. I explained to her that the packaging that is on it comes off and the barcode comes off with it and I had thrown it away expecting it to work properly. I told her she could just scan the new one and keep that packaging if she had to have it. She told me she was just told that she couldn't return anything without the packaging, so I asked her to call whomever told her that. And she said no. I explained that her store had sold me something that didn't work, and I wanted to exchange it for one that did. She was rude and again said, "I cant without the barcode". So, I said "fine, I will go get the new one, the same exact thing, and you can scan that barcode". I went looking and they were completely out of them (but I found the place where they were and the tag was still the exact same thing I had purchased). When I came back up to tell her they were sold out, she didn't see me and continued to talk trash about me to the cashier. She was saying that I was lying and that they hadn't carried those for months. Who would lie about a freaking curtain rod? I didnt even want the money back. Who knows what else she said while I was back there looking, without her help. I just moved to west union and will go the opposite direction to avoid this store at ALL costs. This manager needs some SERIOUS customer service training, before she ruins her entire crew.

New management at this place has really cause this store to go down hill.. seems like every time we go here and come home something we've bought is out of date. Shouldn't have to check the date on stuff before we buy it to confirm it's freshness. Mose recent thing being butter.. went out in April.

I called to ask if they had fall paper plates. The employee who answered the phone asked if I could hold a moment and that she'd go look. I could tell she was on a register and probably busy. But in a couple of minutes she came back on the phone and said Yes, and explained the different kinds and paterns. She was very helpful and pleasant.

This location of the chain is actually pretty nice. It's a little cramped on a couple of aisles but that's because they have so much stuff in stock! They have most major brand names as well as a store brand that's good enough.

The DG in Mountain Rest South Carolina had already put all of their Christmas toys and stuff up that was on sale only four Saturday January 5th 2019 I was very disappointed then they said that the Walhalla Dollar General had their Christmas stuff already on 90% off my sister and I stop by there and it was not 90% off day as well had done put their Christmas toys that was buy one get two free packed up and ready to ship back to the manufacturer or to the warehouse so I was very disappointed with both of those and that matter both stores were very friendly but not real helpful

Found that several items $ cost more @ the register ! Sometimes there are honest mistakes. Couple weeks later, same thing. Management said"DG. Won't Allow changes in register" (2 sell as labeled). coupleMonths later, Still the same & NO LABEL CHANGE!!So much4 "honest Mistake."

The STORE MGR IS VERY HELPFUL AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP AND SHE DESERVES A BIG PAY RAISE ANY STORE THAT COULD HIRE HER AND THEY WOULD BE GETTING A TOP EMPLOYEE SHE SHOULD BE MAKUNG AT LEAST EIGHTEEN DOLLARS AN HOUR

It's a happen place to shop. While I was shopping......there was a shop lifting ,cops was called ,man band from the store. Never a dull minute.
