Puts a sign on the door @ 3pm on a Friday saying come back in 2 hours , lol yeah right! Just shut this store down , so we don't waste time driving to a store that's consistently closed

This place is close to my house and extremely convenient, the only problem I ever have with them is that they close 30-10 minutes early every night! I understand your ready to go home but if the sign on the door says your open until 10pm then the doors need to be open as well. Honestly I would understand if it was only five minutes but like I said it’s anywhere between 10-30 EVERY night!

July 31st, 2021, up until now I've had nothing but good experiences with this store. Tonight I show up at 9:53 for a quick purchase and was told the store shuts down at 9:53. Sternly and a quick turn around to help a customer get ice and then walk back in and lock the door. Customer courtesy is not attitude and customer care isnt a nose in the air. Also, Dollar General stores have a closing time posted at 10:00 p.m.

These guys were slow to get onboard with mask wearing, as I recall, and ended up having to shut down because of a Covid outbreak. Consequently, me and my family stayed away for a good long while. Today was our first time back there in months. Both staff members present had on masks. Some lessons are hard learned. But I get the feeling it's safe now. Although, in this neck of the woods, you will have a lot of non mask wearers, and aside from the signage on the door front... No one's gonna make 'em, either.

This DG is on the way to my son's School... On the way home I stopped and found some Lysol bathroom cleaner! My bathroom is disinfected and smells heavenly!!!

Waited at the cash register for 11minutes, called out several times and no one appeared so I left my items at the register and left. I will not return to the DG in Lockhart.
