Amazing old time hardware store. Seems like they have everything and are super helpful. I had to swap a water heater and decided to stop in. Amazing collection of hand tools, plumbing, hardware, and open bin nails and parts. You know, where you weigh it. Anyhow, I was in and out so fast, so much better than the big box stores unless you need to get your steps in.

Fantastic customer service, I always go hear first before I go to a Home Depot or even Lowe’s…. You may pay more for some stuff but everything else seemed to be priced to compete! The customer service here is top notch, they know where everything is and go to great lengths to help you, which is why I will continue to shop here. The owner is very knowledgeable and always willing to help, will order what you need if he doesn’t have it. 5 stars for the locally owned business!

This is a hardware store similar to the ones that I remember from my past. They have some of everything that you need for your home and business projects. Unlike the big stores that carry a lot of a few things, they have the items that others would need to special order if they could get it at all.

This place is fantastic, much better service than you’ll see at an Ace or a Lowe’s. I’m in no way a handyman and I came in with a very specific task with little direction and they helped me get everything I need and have pointed me in the right direction of everything I can’t find at their store. Definitely go here for your hardware needs!

Truly a one of a kind and living landmark of Travelers Rest. And doesn't matter when you go there it always feels like home. I don't know what this town would do without this hardware store. I can say this Travelers Rest would not be the same without this small town True Value store.

It has most of what a hardware store needs. It is however, small and crammed. Also, some things are missing price tags.Lastly, fyi, the owners are unashamedly rightwing and have signs up on the door to let you know their political views. Whether that is a pro or a con is up to you.

HOMETOWN , HOMEGROWN ,LOCAL FOLKS WHO KNOW THERE STUFF & ARE EXTREMELY COURTEOUS & BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO HELP . Many of us customers look for a reason to just stop by & chat or just browse .It’s the 1st place I stop when there’s a need for :home repair / improvements ,hunting land projects ,nuts & bolts for my hot rods ,etc etc etc. .GOD has Blessed this business & to HIM goes all the Glory ! As long as I lived here near that store never been but did need one thing that normally walmart carries, but didn't have so I stopped at todds, and fell in love with the store, if you like old stuff and new this place has most, and the guys are very sweet and friendly and if you are a female, they double check and make sure what you need, and helps you make the right chose. and now I go there for all hardware needs.

This is definitely the place to go for about anything, except food! They have everything you need to make any repairs ,esp for ur home,pipes bursted,they got any & all pipes,water problems,they sell every kind of tool & more to fix it,sink parts,garden & yard supplies,even flower seeds,any kinf rakes,shovels they got it.i love this store in Travelers Rest SC. & the gentlemen that work there ,they know their business,if u cant find what ur lookin for,just ask them,they are Happy to help you.only place we go for anything that needs to be fixed.they really kno there stuff.so knowledgeable.
