This camp ground was great. We stayed in camp site 83. It was very secluded from the other campsites but we could walk around and mingle if we wanted to. We had water access. For it being a primitive campsite, we were less than a minute walk to the bathrooms/showers. And there was a water spicket nearby too!Depending on the campsite you get, you can see the sunrise OR sunset on the water. Our site was a sunrise section.We will be back!Restrooms: The restrooms were plain. But everything you need is there!Dog-friendliness: I didn't bring my dog this time around, but I heard the occasional barking.

Being on the lake and mostly wooded it gives a very relaxing atmosphere. Went kayaking a few times and the lake was like glass, very calm. Though a few storms came through and the lake was quite choppy. Went biking around the campground. It is slightly hilly, but not steep. Most campsites are fairly flat. Ours was not very level, but it was doable. A lot of pull throughs, electric and water hookups, dump station, and restrooms with showers. One area for tenters only with no hookups, but drinking water avaliable, The boat ramp was in a separate area so if you just want to go boating it is avaliable, there may be a fee to get in. A lot of campers parked there boats at their campsites. Nice place I would go there again.

We enjoyed our trip here, we got spot #4 and this one backed right up to the lake, beautiful views and the sites have enough room you don’t feel like you’re in everyone’s business. Great area to bike and kayak and enjoyed the swimming area we found here too, this is not full hook up just electric and water

The place it's self is pretty nice. But the fact that you gotta go online to do booking is just ridiculous. They act like they are some 5 star establishment. It's almost like you gotta pass the testAnd if you don't you cannot stay here.For the money you pay to stay here they should offer alot more services. I recommend CHAU RAM COUNTY PARK. same price but all the qurks of being at home

The campground was easy to find, well maintained and had beautiful views of the lake. Campsites in the primative area were fairly secluded and relatively quiet. Our site did not have electric or water but water spigots were available in the primitive loop if needed. There was a table with seating, a fire pit, and a lantern pole at our site. The dumpsters near the exit were easy to use and not overflowing. The place was dog friendly and relatively inexpensive. The people at the gate were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again.

Stayed at primitive site 94. It was beautiful and not far from the bathhouse or drinking water spigot to refill jug. We camped in early May and it did feel about 10 degrees cooler by our campsite nestled in the woods beside the lake than it did near the bathhouse, etc.

One of the best little campgrounds I've stayed in. Spacious sites that are level and many of them can handle a large rig. Pull through sites are easy to navigate-no trees in the way. Though site 83 has sharp curve that will challenge the large rigs. Nice picnic tables. The fire pit was clean. No ashes or garbage. The road throughout the campground is paved. No Golf carts allowed which didn't bother me or the hubby. Stayed at site 81 which was close to bathroom but did not have easy access to the lake. Lots and lots of trees. The picnic area is separate and was raked and ready for you. Dump areas are spotless and easy to use. There are two lanes for added convenience. Primitive sites are well designed, have good drainage, and are spacious. Good view of the lake. The beach areas are clean and roped off. The bathroom are typical of this type of campground: aged but were clean. The toilets would have impressed Al Bundy with their flushing power. There is no store to buy those last minute items but the Dollar store down the road can help in that area. No place to wash your clothes either. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and don't need all the fancy things Coneross Campground is sure to please

Beautiful views of Hartwell lake, A mecca for water sports. There is convenient access to stores and shops in McCormick. Maneuvering was tight for our campsite, #43. Easy walk to the water though.

Once again a wonderful experience at this park. Stayed in site #72 elevated lakeview stunning sunsets, our own beachfront to launch kayaks, easy pull through for a 42' 5th wheel.

I just love C.O.E. campgrounds. My spot had a marginal cell signal and the tree that provided shade also provided loud and startling bangs on the roof.

Very nice clean camp ground, great sandy beach, rv hook ups and water front lots. Stayed at lot 45 it was awesome. Be back again

We had campsite 60 and it was a great site. A little uneven though, so we had to jack up the trailer a little bit about 3 inches on the right side. Right there on the beach. The only down side of the trip was the bathrooms were only clean once a week while we were there. So the bathrooms gotten nasty after a couple of days other than that had a great time!

This is an exceptional park that is a hidden treasure. Bring your bike, boat or kayak and be prepared for one of the nicest campgrounds around.

I don't dislike it, but it could be way better. Not my favorite campground for peace and quiet. The lake is gorgeous. My first hours here, so I will try to see the rosy side tomorrow. I do plan on getting a very start, so maybe the tranquility and sounds of nature will be a delight before everyone wakes up around me. Happy camping.

Wow! Amazing views on the lake. We visited from Florida and had a wonderful time with our friends. Two older people at the check in booth were very pleasant and welcoming, even gave couple of books to the kids in the car. Love this campground. Definitely God willing we’ll be back!

Campsite to close together. Plus my battery in my truck went dead and I ask the guy driving the cart if I can get a boost. He said sure be back in a hour. 2 hours go by never came back. But the day before he was helping a young lady set up a camper. So wen I finally got help and was leaving that same man was at the gate talking to that same lady he was helping set up camper . Like WOW... all he gonna say is HAVE A GOOD DAY !!!! I THOUGHT THEY SUPPOSE TO HELP OTHER'S ALSO ??? OR IS IT YOU ONLY HELP WHITE PEOPLE ??????

Late checkout. Reasonable rates. Sites on the water. Well-shaded. Playgrounds.Bring lots of ice. Nearest place to buy more is 15 minutes+ away.
