Ordered some take out 2 cheese burgers and onion rings,wow the onion rings were so messed up look like they had already been cooked and we ordered them they just recipes them in grease and served them for 15.00 dollars my food should had been cooked to order and looked fresh but it wasn’t who ever the manager is please get it to together because of now you have lost a loyal customer. The only issue I had was not knowing how to go about ordering. I'm sure the locals don't hesitate but it was a little confusing. Take out only. Got it now. It just looked like I could walk in. The lady at the window was very helpful and very informative. Overall great customer service. The food was delicious. A fried platter of shrimp and oysters didn't disappoint. Being from eastern NC I was definitely comparing it back to home. The potato salad wasn't like mama made it..... It was better! If not for the confusion upon arriving 5 stars all the way.

This place has some of the best food seasoned well and delicious I ordered a cheeseburger and got down the road and wanted to turn around and get another, I got the Salisbury steak and it was delicious will definitely be coming back

Nice little place, just a few minutes off the highway, convenient to be able to avoid the chain restaurants. The owners are very nice and attentive. They fried us fresh chicken rather than serve the older leftovers, which is always a good sign.

I've been eating from George's since I was a little girl and I absolutely love the food to this day!!! This restaurant is actually one of the last genuine "Greek" restaurants that we have in, or near Florence county, very similar too but better than Athens, remember them? The owners and staff are extremely nice and They love to feed you as much as you want to be fed! They have the best down home, "southern soul-food" cooking you've ever had PLUS their other menu items, such as seafood, burgers & fries, subs, hamburger steak with onions, fries chicken, etc.. If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! If you find yourself in Timmonsville or Florence, (who cares how far it is to drive for really good food because I've driven a pretty good ways to wind up having some terrible food experiences 😧) go see Mr. George and Mrs. Angie!! OR..make the call and place your order for pick-up, they have a drive thru window for convenience!!!

George's is a great local spot, one of the few in Timmonsville that's been around for quite some time. Customer service is always professional and friendly. Fresh food and tasty. Be sure to check out their subs with the special sauce, the best in town!!

My first time going here was today 5/16/19 with 4 other people and I absolutely loved it! The food and service was great. I had the chicken bog and fried okra and it was more than satisfying. I will definitely be coming back! ☺️

Very family feeling you get. I've known them for my whole life and they are great people in and out. They're food is amazing. Especially the deserts. Sometimes there is a wait and it's busy but there's only so many in there to help along when they get busy busy

I usually love the food from this place but the last time i ate from there, the service was great as usual, and i got my food very quickly, but i ordered a grilled chicken salad w ranch dressing, and the chicken was very hard and chewy and i ended up very sick after i ate it

Food was decent but my small shrimp and flounder was over priced for a lunch special. $14.01. Everything was served using styrofoam plates and cups. Thought it was kinda weird that I was the only person that was given Plastic silverware when everyone else had metal. I will say the seafood is much better at Turluck's accross the street but they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. I will say that this place does offer several other lunch specials that ate reasonable in price and look great. I will return when back in this area to try other items on the menu. Until then, 3 stars is all I can give.

I had not been to George’s in years, only found out the dining room was closed and it’s drive-through only when I got there. Food was very pricey for the quality and quantity.

Amazing.... Staff is Soo sweet.. we're from Anderson SC and on our way home from the beach we just stopped for lunch... The lady was just precious.. the food is great... And my son who is picky got the steak sandwich not knowing what it was and said it was Soo good!!!!!
