Well if you ever need a oil or battery I would never go to this Walmart and I won't return. I would rather pay a little more then what I been through. If I could I would give them a zero. Went to get oil change one time and they wouldn't change it cause of a bolt was missing. ok fine but I needed a battery went there cause it was Walmart battery BIG MISTAKE!!! The guys were nice and check it out said it wasn't. Ok fine but still having issues so I just replaced the battery. So I returned and they put a battery in. Great happy. But battery light was on like something was wrong. Said gotsomething to the gentleman about oh it ok just take it advance auto they can turn off the light. Ok well that day was very busy for me and I thought about. Long story short open the hood the they broken a cable that cost me more then the battery did and had to order from the dealership. I wish the guy wouldn't lie to me so check your car out even if your are a woman like me. Oh and they didn't cover the cost for my part either. So if you need them to cost you money just go there they help you with that!!

After doing my grocery shopping after work. No cashier to wait on me. Had to use the absolute screwup of self checkout. Went to pay with cash and a debit card as I sometimes do and the register locked up and even the associate couldn't get it to work. So then the associate wanted to re ring everything up again. I had $150 in groceries in my cart. I said absolutely not and ended up coming home without any groceries. I will now pay the higher price at Food Lion.

I am a frequent user of Walmart’s Delivery service well I was until recently. They blocked my accounts from being able to order online or through delivery due to the refunds on my accounts.Those refunds are due to expired items, items not being delivered at all or issues with the third party delivery service. Sometimes customer service would issue a refund and or a promotion as a goodwill gesture. Then they said there is excess promotion code use! How if you offered / sent them to me?Every time I have issues I’d take pictures so they see and it’s like that did more damage than justice. Sometimes if you shop in stores you are prone to find molded and expired items !I went back and forth with the accounts review team and Walmart executive escalations just to have my account still closed. It’s not like I can control what your workers do or the delivery drivers do!I even spoke with the managers of the store sometimes and they’ll apologize and say they’ll speak to their staff but the same issues continued to happen.I don’t understand if I showed you all the molded food, damaged items or other issues why would my accounts be blocked ? This makes zero sense.Sumter needs a Costco! Walmart’s service went down through the years!!

Customer service is terrible here. I say hello & good morning if someone makes eye contact. People look at you & then look the other way Or walk by multiple workers & no one says ANYTHING. Asked where something was & just told I don't know & walk away. It's the ONLY Supercenter in Sumter so it's so disappointing. I'd give names but most of them don't wear a name tag either. Sam Walton's vision is definitely not a part of this store's requirements.

Walmart always have what I need. This particular trip I went to get the huge stuffed Valentines Flamingo. They were half price so only $12.50. I ended up buying another for my niece and a big lizard for my nephew. It was early so the store wasn't crowded and no line at the self checkout..

2/4/24 - just tried to call the store and speak with somebody in customer service. There isn't even an option on the menu when you call in to access store customer service. This is one of my many definitions of poor customer service I called back and selected the operator option several times, the phone rang dozens of times and nobody ever answered.Walmart has numerous suppliers that are price gouging the customers. Coke and Pepsi head my list. Their flavored sugar waters are not worth what they're charging. Pepsi was recently kicked out of a grocery store chain in Europe because of price gouging.Dukes mayonnaise is another gross example of price gouging. Their mayonnaise now is no longer a quart but 30 Oz and their prices have doubled in recent years. The reason for their price increases revolves around the fact that the company was sold and the new owners want to recoup their investment as fast as they can on the backs of customers. I no longer buy Duke's mayonnaise because of their price gouging.

It's okay, the only thing is that there is a worker who treats you like trash in the electronics section. I was going to buy a game. He asked for identification. I showed him my ID and he still didn't want to sell me the game, making other excuses.

They need to open more registers. They offer no discount to customers who do all their checkout work. Your treated like a criminal if you need help from most of their employees.

Well stocked inventory. Helpful customer service people. Never enough open register operators. If I wanted to be a cashier I would have looked for a job doing that type of work. Instead of being forced into checking myself out under the scrutiny of a Walmart employee.

Always packed not enough riding carts. Need more registers. If I wanted to ring my on stuff up an put in bags I would have got a job there and if they are so worried about people stealing then they should get rid of self check out and get the cashiers back

Half of what we spent the time to gather would not ring up half of. Employees were rude and said it doesn't matter what the signs say, they would not remove signs or honor them. Might could of been ok if they weren't so extremely rude and it couldn't have been because the have worked a long shift, the store hadn't been open an hour@

So I had a good experience and a bad experience at the same time…. I went to get an oil change and because typically it takes a minute I did some shopping that I needed to do. The oil change took less than 20 minutes which was surprising so that was the really good experience and customer service. On the other hand, I had to get this hairdryer that was locked in the glass box things and I was waiting there and pressed the button at least 10 times and each person that I could flag down said it wasn’t their section so they didn’t have a key. It took someone 45 minutes to get to me which is wild because how did my car get done before someone could unlock a box? Sounds like they’re just short staffed which I understand, but if that’s the case then communicate that. Also Walmart corporate needs to find a way to treat the workers less like slaves and more like people so that people will actually want to work there and the places won’t be short staffed. That goes for Walmarts everywhere.

Went to this Walmart location today to pick an iPad up for my Granddad who cannot get around anymore. I waited in the line at the electronics area for about 7 minutes and when it was my turn. The lady helping looked at me and said I can’t help you I’m going on break. So I waved down another worker who also did not want to help because it was not there area. Which I do understand that so I asked for a manager and waited another 15 minutes after they called overhead for a manager. No one ever came so I ended up leaving and went to staples. All I needed was someone to unlocked the area to get me and iPad and check me out but that is to hard for these lazy workers at this Walmart location apparently.

It was clean and busy as usual but I went to Walmart eye center and it was good but then I start having problems with my eyes and headaches and when I went back to ask the receptionist said it was allergies and something and I said huh I was a little confused but hopefully when I go back the answer is something different I'll keep y'all updated

hit or miss but better than the other Walmart's in town when it comes to keeping things stocked ...update I hate this place I've been waiting for over an hour for this dang grocery pick up I'm soo done you try to avoid going inside this place because walmart is soo cheap the have all of 2 cashiers and self check out for a big grocery run takes 45 minutes just to get through the automated process try be proactive and avoid the chaos with pick up that my fiancé put in and I could have ran a freaking 5k 3 times ... I'm so done

Not sure why they so concerned about people showing receipts watched one customer multiple times ring items up on self checkout, put item in the bag then get the employees to delete from purchase. Employees never once checked to see what was being deleted or where the item was. Company worried about theft, check your employees first.

Store shelves are always empty! You have to ring up your own merchandise! Workers are never "working"This store has went down hill very quickly not as convenient as it use to be. Being their shelves are always so dry! Think I will start making my shopping trips at Target! Open register's Again it sucks to shop and have to ring up your own merchandise Walmart is really getting a bang for their buck.

Not enough Handicap parking or electric carts. I am handicap and I had to walk the grocery section. Only self check out lanes open, very long lines. After being watched by an employee, as I scanned my items and bagged my groceries, Walmart had an employee ask if I minded him checking my receipt. While I showed him the receipt, I didn't like being treated as a potential thief. This is why Walmart IS NOT my store of choice.

While visiting Sumter I had to get some parts to do maintenance on my car before heading back to Atlanta. I was able to get everything I needed without going to an auto parts store, and at a much better price. Helpful employees, quick check out, what more could you ask for.

Tuesday, November 22, 2002 I had a scheduled pick up. They alerted me at 6:45pm that my order was ready. I arrived at 7:15pm. As I arrive I notice that the pickup area was PACKED. So much so that there were 3 rows of cars.At 7:32pm they sent an alert that my order was “picked up”. This location is notorious for claiming that you picked up your order prior to them actually giving it to you (so that it makes their wait times seem lower to corporate). No big deal. Usually they come out with your order 5 minutes later. NOT TONIGHT.I literally sat there until around 8:20pm. No one not even one time came to my vehicle to ask what my order was. Literally all of the customers started leaving because they weren’t helping any of us. Why didn’t they just cancel your order or send a “delayed” message like other Walmarts do when they get backed up? Why waste everyone’s time just to inflate your stores numbers?I attempted to call the pickup line they have posted and they HUNG UP after 2 rings. I tried to call every department at this Walmart and NO ONE, not a single department answered their phone. I finally had to call corporate and get my money refunded.This Walmart used to be good, but this past year it has gone downhill. Pickups are always slow, products damaged or missing. The attitude of the staff has gone downhill. It’s now one of the worse Walmarts in the area.

I stopped by Walmart on broad st. Today after I got off work, decided to get me a 6 pc chicken wing with potato wedges. I was about to starve! I got home went to eat my chicken and my doggone chicken is raw! I called the deli and no answer. I was trying to let them know not to sell any more of them. So now I’m here. I’ll post pictures

All self checkout. Poor selection in sporting goods. Walmarts everywhere are in rapid decline IMO. I think they are probably losing more to theft and untrained (self) cashiers than having paid cashiers running registers. Checkout is a nightmare for the elderly there.

At the self checkout station , I noticed price and weight of produce was not right. (thumb size of ginger) When I ask sales associate she answered “that is what scale measured” with rude attitude(I am not trying to get discount off the scale, apparently) Later I saw the checkout screen scale already registered at 0.94lbs instead 0. My ginger was only 0.12lbs. Also other produce was weigh double. After void transaction and pay other station I ask her the station need attention due to wrong scale. For some reason she didn’t like the idea of close the scale (she had big attitude that I really didn’t want to deal with these issue) but she mention they will be calibrated. So I reckon Walmart could turn off the light until it get fixed. Nothing happens. The Station is still open and waiting for another customer to get wrong measurement. I notify to customer service desk about the scale and waited 10 more minutes for somebody to come to take action while see if other customer check out at the station. I decided to leave and ask same lady about the progress and she wasn’t very pleased with me. I left the store after I took photo. Overall not my problem and don’t any intention to waste my time if nobody is appreciated. I just wanted problem to be fixed so walmart can provide fair and right price to their customers.!

Awefull...Wal-Mart now officially..SUCKS!!!Like a scavenger hunt to find now non existent items bought there before. 2 ck outs open backed up into shopping area. Self ck outs backed up.I guess employees no longer are competent to run a register!No longer a convenience...VERY INCONVENIENT...avoid like the plague!!

This Walmart is pretty big with a mini McDonald's insides. However, they were stocking food today and a lot of things were missing. This was actually my first time at this Walmart and although the stockers were on the floor, I found one young lady to help. There was another young lady there and she told the young lady that if a customer needed help to direct them to someone else because its a waste of their time. I was dissatisfied by what this girl said and with the fruit department. It seems like some of these young ladies working there do not want to help customers but push them off on other people. This is not how Walmart works, so im very disappointed.

Online Pick up never answers. Pharmacy never answers. There are never any managers around. Piss poor customer service all throughout the damn store. This is a concern and clearly is affecting your reviews. Hire people!!! Pay people more!

I had a delivery today for 6. The driver Cynthia gave me the wrong order and she didn’t even bring it to my door. I was lucky enough for the nice customer service guy to refund me but I don’t appreciate working all day and the groceries I am expecting when I get home to not be the right groceries.

I want to go in get what I need and get out. I don't want to wait in a 10 minute line after I waited in line to check out to bag my own groceries for a lady to yell at me cuz I pushed my cart too far past her and tell me that I don't need to be on the phone so she can check my receipt to make sure that I bagged my groceries correctly. If you want to check my receipt then pay me to do the job that I'm doing for somebody else or trust that I'm doing it correctly. Don't waste my time.
