**PET OWNERS BEWARE** If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I will try to summarize as much as possible. My husband brought our golden retriever to get groomed at this so called pet grooming facility if you want to call it that and it was the WORST experience. He brought her around 10:30 and around 2 we still didn’t have any updates so we called. The first concern is they had her under a former rescue dog name that we previously owned and did not have her listed under the correct name, even though we let them know both on the phone AND when she was dropped off that she was a different dog with vet paperwork. The next concern after reading multiple reviews this place is known for keeping dogs ALL day with no water or taking the pets out to go to the bathroom while they are there, in addition to owners reporting their dogs were traumatized after. This alarmed me. Around 2:40 I call back and asked about the status of her grooming and was informed a time couldn’t be provided and my husband was told it could be 6 pm. That did not sit well with me and I informed the receptionist I would be getting my dog. When picking up my dog, she was VERY anxious and needed to go to the bathroom immediately. Her behavior was different than her normal since we got home. She seems to be anxious and exhausted. Her urine wasn’t much when she went to the bathroom and very concentrated, indicating she has not drank water in several hours. She was very thirsty, she gulped down 2 large bowls of water as well as if that was the first time she drank in several hours. I do not see any scrapes/cuts on her thank god. I do not know how this sorry excuse of a dog grooming facility is still in business. There are plenty of other reviews that are negative about this place other than mine. I am hoping this review helps others. For Pets sake grooming—DO BETTER or get out of the business. This is sorry customer service and essentially animal cruelty/neglect.

EDIT!The last time I took my pup there she was afraid to go in! I don't know what happened but IF I go back I will he very cautious. The groomer Robert(?) Was very kind.My pup love it there once I leave! She gets the full service bath and her nails buffed rather than cut. She always comes back clean and happy. For the full service and the nail buff it costs $60. Well worth it to me!The service includes:Ear cleaning, trim nails, sanitary, bath with shampoo best for the individual dog's skin needs, moisturizing conditioner for skin and coat, deodorizing head and face with a blueberry wash, clean up crusty eye discharge, teeth brushed, bandana or bows, nail polish if wanted, and a body sprayPhotos are after I pick her up!

We really loved the work that was done to our Yorkie Poo... The staff was very friendly and they gave him so much love while he was being groomed... It was his first time there and they made sure he was good until he was picked up!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you all for the awesome hospitality!!

We come here anytime we have to get our dog, Bobby, nails trimmed. I have taken him several places who charge more and make us hold him down and they don't even cut the nails , they end up looking the same. This is THE ONLY PLACE IN TOWN that cuts his nails the way we like. Nice and short and the techs are super quick and careful with him even though he can get anxious. I'll never take him anywhere else

We've been taking our fur baby here for about 3 months now and have no complaints! Scheduling is great, we're always able to drop our dog off either same day or next day. Our dog gets so excited when we get there and waits by the door to get taken back. Prices are very fair. We've gotten the de-shedding services as well as the full bath services. Customer service has never been an issue. We always feel welcome and happy.

I didn't get to use their services, I tried calling for an appointment and was asked if I could be put on hold. I wasn't actually put on hold so I could hear the people working there talking while I waited for over 15 minutes trying to get an appointment.

My son’s dog was taken to “For Pet’s Sake” for grooming.It was early in the day, 1st customer, on a first come first serve basis, so we were advised. We were supposed to be called when ready. No calls, later when we went back, near closing time, was just then being groomed. Baby had been penned up all day, no water. And certainly not 1st come first serve! And we have used them before with good care and results. But never again. The baby was treated cruelty, no water, potty walk, etc. They lied to us, plain and simple. Really, “For Pet’s Sake”, they need a new name!They should have advised they could not do it within a couple of hours and/or simply called us to pick up the baby and bring back!Awful folks, and talk about rude, disgustingly so! Be aware!

You call to make an appointment and your pet is STILL there for 5+ hrs! I’m sure they don’t provide water, snacks nor bathroom breaks for them for that long period of time! I’m almost certain I don’t get everything I pay for because the obvious things like nail buffing, polish are never done! My dog will NEVER go back

I took my GS here to get nails trimmed. She has been going to groomer to get nails trimmed since she was a pup and has always been very well behaved the groomers and vets always brag on how well behaved she is. They charged me a 10.00 handling fee and said it took two people to handle her. I won't take her back here. 30.00 for a nail trimI is a bit steep and they stressed my dog out.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Took my Dog there for the first time for a de-shedding service, after being charged $104 for the full service she was still shedding all over the car and in the house when we got home. Two days after the grooming she has scabbing all down her back, neck and behind her ears. She is also flinching and yelping when you pet her in those areas. We are new to the area and she normally goes ever 2-3 weeks during the summer ( she had dual coat and blows her coat in hot weather, so we upkeep it to make it easy on her.) Not in the 2 years that I have had her has something like this every happened. They said she was a rough groom, I’m assuming now that’s because they were rough with her and were rushing through. She was there from 8:30 (when I made an appointment) till almost 3:00… She is sore and is shedding in CLUMPS everywhere!! 100% do not recommend, save your pup and go to another groomer.

I didn't want them to use clippers on my long hair Chihuahua but he came home 3inches shorter body fur That was choppy and OBVIOUS there were clippers and not scissors used.. $80 for a cut I specified NOT TO GIVE HIM!

They do great work with my problematic dogs! I love the services they offer and how clean they come back after a bath. The nail trimming service is my favorite because my dog will fight you if you want to clip her nails. Great people, great place, will keep going back!Was my review three years ago when you all had everything together. Last time I took my dog it seems you all forgot she was a caution. I do not understand how and no one can tell me. Instead I was charged extra for me "difficult" dog then told I would not be charged next time because it is noted when it should have been noted before. Needless to say won't go back.

I took both of my babies here after using them in the past.I loved what they did with my sweeties. Everything was perfect, from booking my appointment to leaving with my babies. We even purchased 2 new collars😊. Most definitely will be recommending them and returning.

They do a good job as far as the haircut goes . Today was the first time I decided I needed a new groomer. They used to have a older lady who worked at the front desk and made every visit pleasant and easy. Unfortunately she retired. Since she retired I have found that the office is really unorganized and my puppy has to stay there from 8:30-6:00. When I asked why this keeps happening they say I need to pay an extra 10 dollars so my appointment won’t be skipped. This is crazy I believe this is a ripoff just to get an extra 10 dollars out of you ,also they had a huge pit bull there in a cage that was barking and scared my puppy so bad that he was shaking . I believe the quality of service here has diminished greatly. I never write reviews but I felt I needed to make sure I warned my fellow dog owners about this place.

I have 2 cocker spaniels --we moved up from Florida to SC 6 months ago. My husband and I found For pet's sake grooming. Have been there 2x's -would not go anywhere else -actually I think they should send a crew to Florida and teach them dog grooming!!!!

Be aware! I called to schedule an appointment and was told to bring my dogs (2) at 8:00 am. I received a confirmation call, the night before my appointment, and told the lady that I needed to get the dogs by noon (4 hours for a bath & trim). She said to just mention it at drop off. When I arrived at 8:00 am I was told I needed to pay $10 extra per dog if I wanted to get them at noon (again, 4 hrs later). I think it should have been stated upfront that this wasn’t an appointment or stated when I inquired about pickup, the day before. Would definitely not use again or recommend based on business practices and the fact that they would rather lose a customer than sacrifice $20.

Edited. Realized how bad my pups haircut really was. There were stray scissor cuts everywhere. From 2 stars to 1. His cut was not even close to being even. We will never be returning. My female puppy has been crying in pain ever since we brought her home. Her neck is ridiculously tight, I'm thinking she was put in a kennel that was far too small for too long. We dropped them off at 8:30 and we didn't hear anything until 2 pm when we called to ask. Also, we paid for their nails to be buffed but they are still very sharp.

My daughter gets her puppy groomed here and it is a rip off!!! What is the purpose of making an appointment and then being asked to pay $10 extra if you don’t want your dog to sit in a cage ! Which could last all day if everyone else chooses to pay the $10. In addition I picked up the pup on this last and final visit and they charge 4% extra if you use your debt / credit card! Welp! There went the tip! Our pup won’t be returning even if I have to drive to Columbia or Florence! And it is poor management that responds to a paying, regular customer that has concerns with accusations and no empathy! And by the way I don’t need to speak to management ( your suggestion to my daughter) to share our experience and warn others or a share great experience. To bad the latter doesn’t apply here!
