I used to love going to this Dollar General as when we moved here in 2022 it quickly became our favorite one, but I went in today and Idk whats happened but it was a mess. Produce was awful and the salad mix you could see in the bag the amount of liquid which with lettuce thats an indicator its been bad for quite some time. The casher when checking out was more worried about talking with the Pepsi guy then paying attention to her customers. I kept putting my number in and then she reached over i thought to help but instead she cancelled it out. I figured maybe it was already there but unfortunately when she fave me the receipt my number wasnt on there therefore i didnt get to take advantage of my coupons which if she had been paying attention to her customers she would have realized the only reason i was putting my number in was for the coupons. She shouldnt be working there if shes going to spend her time flirting with whoever instead of paying attention to her customers. We need our favorite Dollar General back come on now!!

Dollar General stores are turning into neighborhood grocery stores, this visit was good, although they were running low on dog food.

I visited this store early this afternoon. While I was there (getting essential supplies) I saw a customer buy 3 2-packs of paper towels. I thought they were limiting the purchase of essential items! I also noticed that they are not limiting the number of people inside the store at one time, per the governor's mandate.I only gave them 2 stars because they did have some of the items I needed.

I'm going to give them only three stars on this review, when they usually would get 5 any another day.But please explain to me, why on the eve of Valentine's day, at 8PM would they only have 1 person checking out customers, and no one else in sight!There were at least 10 people in line, and bless her heart, as hard as she worked, the customers went on and on about how angry they were. I'm very sure they lost several customers that evening.Next time, when there is a holiday the following day, they might want to do things differently.

They have fruit and salads they also have a good beer selection they carry cases of beer of all variety. The employees are very polite and well mannered. They also have a self checkout line. If you find yourself in sumter visit Dollar General

Dark, dingy, and people right up on you not wearing a mask. I would have given only one star but the employees were kind and helpful. The other customers could care less about anyone but themselves.

Parking lot always full of litter. Looks trashy. Glass coming into store, is covered in cobwebs and is not clean. The inside of the store is pretty clean. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Since they've remodeled their stores they have a nice selection and are much more organized. Quick, convenient and well priced. Plus it's much easier than Walmart any day!!

I don't know the people that work that didn't seem all that friendly. I went in to get some soft drinks and didn't really find a good special. To me it's just like any other store. I wish they would do as advertised you never have really great specials

Always cluttered with boxes, merchandise and the metal carts they use to move the boxes around. The isle in the back on the right with toys and such near the cloths is always blocked off with them. There's also almost never anyone at a register when I go to check out. Other than that it's decent.

The store didn't have what was posted in stock. Multiple items was not shelved as labeled. Just horrible stocking in my opinion. Do better or I'll go to the one down the road from this one.

Clean, organized and fairly well stocked. Friendly workers, and it was easy to find what I needed and to get out. Prices are comparable as dollar store prices goes.

Dollar General has come a long ways. I wouldn't classify it as a dollar store but a small version of Wal-Mart. Kudos to you all. Keep up the good work.

Great store. Its clean the associates are awesome and everything is always well stocked. I get great customer service every time I go in there.

Messy and unorganized...boxes and u boats in isles covering the merchandise. They need more hours to hire more workers. Customer service is always great

Since the pandemic, paper products are still hard to find. Dollar General is the go to store when I don't feel up to going into a huge grocery store. Surprisingly, they have a lot of things the major grocers have.

Soon as you walk in the cashier speak to you I go to the one mostly on highway 441 I know where everything is in that store if you need help someone there to help you
