Poor soda selection. No Dr pepper, no starry, the only canned sprite they had was sitting hot on a shelf covered in syrup.

I approached the cashier which was on her cell phone. I waited approximately 30-45 seconds before she started scanning the first item while she was still carrying on a conversation with someone. It took another minute to scan the other four items. Finally I was able to run my debit card and then waited to receive my receipt. She was still engrossed with someone on the cell phone when I grabbed my bags and walked out. Wow! Is that the customer service Dollar General practices? Hopefully management will see this review and address this issue.

Lines are always backed up. There is always one cashier up front and you would think if the line gets backed up they would call for some help but no. No one comes to check the front to see if there needed. The lack of leadership in that store is horrible. Like the saying goes it starts from the top, well they need to get rid of a few people. The Dollar Store they built down the road is so much nicer and cleaner. It's a challenge getting down the aisle. I know they are stocking but you dont just leave boxes and carts on the floor. The store is closer to my house then the other store so that's why I go in there but I really feel sorry for the associates that care and are just left alone with no help. It's more like a hang out spot for the associates if you ask me.

Go to this store almost every day, the cashiers and managers always greet you when you walk in. Store isn’t as new and organized as the new Dollar Generals, but it’s still a nice welcoming atmosphere and they will usually help you find what you need.

It has name brands too, n less. And I can afford it. It's always clean neat, the one off 441 Peach Orchard Rd. Nice store. People work their always greet ya! So I give it 5 stars..

I love Dollar General. I can run in anywhere to find what I need. The employees especially the young man in the Dollar General on Main Street in is especially thoughtful and friendly. His name is Travis Hayes.

I have one issue with the two locations on peach orchard rd. November they put western union signes out advertising SEND & RECEIVE MONEY HERE... The problem is that, you can only SEND MONEY but cannot RECEIVE MONEY .and I have came back on 3 separate occasions, and get the same results... I believe that is false advertising and should be done away with the signs on the yellow poles... it's a dirty little trick to bring more customers in and it's not right when others come for just that reason!!

Every one there is very sweet.and you are able to get threw the store without a lot of boxes all over the floor.also shelves are well stocked

Went to store after I saved my 5$ coupon and made sure I got at least 25$ worth. Got to register and coupon wouldn't scan!! They called manager and he can up and told me his system said it had already been used!! So I put everything back and left the Sumter $ store! Every time I go to $ store there is SOME kind of problem!!I'm done!!And shopped there ever week.I'm done now!!

Was missing a lot of stuff on the Shelf but I was able to get one of the things that came in for the lady was really nice at the register though

I love the dollar general it keeps me from having to go to Walmart! The staff has always been helpful, and friendly too.

The store had everything i needed unlike other dollar generals in the area and they move fast so there isnt a line/wait when you visit
