I took my dog dizzy to have his picture taken with Santa. It was a very easy process. There were not a lot of dogs or cats waiting in line. In fact, the person ahead of us was finished and we walked right on in. Had our picture made and we're out.

I brought my Maltipoo here who is from a rescue. HORRIBLE HORRBLE JOB!!! I asked them to keep his hair long and they shaved him and cut all his whiskers. He can’t even move he’s been so traumatized. You don’t cut whispers especially a rescue animals who has already endured so much trauma. So horrified.

Markus was so kind and patient. They answered a million questions about the right fish for my tank. So knowledgeable about everything from fish to filters. I really appreciated how helpful and friendly all associates were during my visit. Thanks!

They have live reptiles, amphibians, fish of all sorts, occasionally cats, mice, guinea pigs, snakes, birds, lizards, geckos, etc. Also have a large stock of everything you could need, also a pet clinic, grooming, make your own pet ID tags via engraver, live feeders, pets welcome, The staff is always really friendly and the loyalty program has good discounts. I come here frequently for live feeders for my reptiles and the selection is pretty good for that.. crickets, super worms, fruit flies, and dubia roaches. They charge too much for them but they are reliable on the stock almost all of the time. I feel like the prices are too high on most of their items though. Also there is typically a decent wait in the line to checkout.. but I guess that's because the staff is very helpful and doesn't rush you through. There is a plot of artificial turf outside the store for the doggos to do their business which is a cute touch. They keep that clean so never a smell👍If my review helped at all, please consider giving a thumbs up. I appreciate ya!

Friendly staff, however the prices are a bit much! Way more the target down the road and the grocery stores....chewy is cheaper too, so get it shipped straight to you for less. Not impressed. They also seem to be out of things a lot.

Got my 7 month old miniature goldendoodle groomed here for the first time and I absolutely love the cut they did! I was nervous at first to take him here, but the people working were very professional, and my dog came out looking happy and cute! Nicole P. did his cut and I will absolutely come back! These photos are him right after I picked him up. I just did the basic cut & bath.

I take advice about what to feed my dog from an actual vet not a random worker harassing people in the pet food aisles. Also, employees (Suzanne) should be trained to never put their hands on a customer. Never ever. The cashier was nice but that was the only positive interaction we had.

My little Abby has been black balled from PetSmart grooming because she showed signs of aggression during a grooming session in Georgia, I would blame the groomer at that time other groomers from California to South Dakota say how sweet she is.I am not a happy camper at this timeGoodbye PetSmart

Summerville Petsmart is absolutely awful. Rude service, will short you every time they can, and ridiculous lines. I won’t come here again, save yourself the time and trouble.

I drove all the way to Somerville to pick up clippers that I was told on the phone was available. Once I got there, the representative Taylor stated that the clippers were out of stock but this was only after waiting about 10-15 minutes for someone to get them from the stockroom. The ticket on the clippers at the back of the store for availability shows that there was one left. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

A little Expensive now that everything is going up, but my pets are worth it! Very friendly staff for the most part.. everyone has stressful days.. AND you can bring your pets (on a proper leash) inside with you! My baby Kubo came from PetSmart. If I'm not mistaken someone takes their whole set of teeth out. Whether it's PetSmart or who they buy from. So please never turn your snakes into the wild.. for those who just don't want to take care of them. Re-sell them, take them to a shelter or even give it to someone for free who can't afford all it goes with. But they cannot defend themselves at all. Poor babies. Idk about other animals or wings getting clipped etc..

We love the Summerville Petsmart. We take our yellow lab to puppy school there every Saturday and spend our entire paychecks on toys for our dog and two cats. Trainer Larry at the puppy school is amazing! He’s so smart and patient with the pups. Our 8 mo old lab has learned so much thanks to Larry. He always has the best advice for how to train our dog. Honestly, best money ever spent!

Great place . some people complain too much and give two stars for stupid reasons like waiting. Its summerville so be prepared to wait. Anyways great place. We have bought 3 tanks and accessories. 1 for freshwater fish. 1 for my ball python and 1 for my bush viper thats veibg mailed as i write this. Very helpful employees. Always help us to the fullest. We will continue to shop at this location until something changes.

The cashier was rude. I said hello asked how his day was he ignored me and just scanned my stuff. I told him thanks have a good day. He still said nothing like I was not a person. Simple kindness like that goes a long way. Also bought super worms 20 of 50 where dead.

It was Sunday & brought my critical, female cat in. They were the only vet on this side of the river open, with a doctor. Unfortunately, we had to put her down 😢 The Dr tried so hard to help her but in the end, it was the right thing to do. The whole staff was very curious with our alone time & with the cremation paperwork. Will definitely return if my regular vet is closed.

I shouldn't even leave 1 star! Do not go to this store! I was looking at fish and decided to grab a few. I kindly asked the person at register for help. A girl came back shut off the lights and told me she was going home and can't sell me any fish. I though this was extremely rude, I mean come on how hard is it to bag 3 fish and how long does it take...... I normally spend a decent amount of money here for my pets. But will no longer. I also called and complained but the so called manager was not very concerned..

Bleu and I love Pet Smart, she always enjoy her trips to the store. If I happen to leave too soon the minute she steps outside the store she sits and won’t move. I already know my next reaction is to take her back in the store to finish her strolling around 🤣
