I like that they now offer fresh fruit and veggies, but when I was there the store seemed in disarray and they didn't have several items that I had gone after (primarily foam plates, cups and plastic ware)Carts blocked some of the aisles.

Store is supposed to close at 10pm nightly. I arrived at 9:15 and the doors were locked. Workers were still inside and lights were on. Wouldn’t be such a big deal if this hadn’t been the closest store to me that was open when I had gotten off work. Maybe update your online hours if you’re going to close an hour early.

Friendly staff but I can never get to all of the items I need when I come to this store. The reason is they have carts lined up blocking an entire aisle. Last week they had other aisles blocked including one that has been blocked for over a month. That particular one was the party aisle. That has been the case since I was getting supplies for my son's birthday party back in October. I had to move everything out of the way to find two items. That isn't my job to do nor any other customer and if something had fallen on me or another customer it would end up back on the store itself. Having had tons of experience in retail I know that is a huge "no-no".. I have mentioned it several times but so far nothing has changed. The floor should always be clear of the carts with new stock unless an employee is with it stocking the store. If not it should be in the back room and not on the floor. That is so far my only complaint. Again the staff is friendly but I have only ever experienced them at the register because that is the only place you'll find them. Maybe if they had an employee at the register while the other was on the floor there wouldn't be so much clutter with carts full of stock.

This store is in horrible condition, I couldn't even shop in the store. You can't go down back the isles and across the back of the store. What's the point in having it open! Very disappointed!

The store saves me a lot of time and the expense. Of having to travel to town to buy small items. Most of the time when I go I will get everything I need. . The people Are always friendly? And helpful. Best store that has ever been put south of Anderson.

Store is always a wreck. Stock is never put away and always in the aisles in the way. Tonight went there at 9:20pm and they had already locked the door even though they don't close until 10:00pm. Honestly this store needs some new management.

Fully stocked and clean store. Many DGs are cluttered, but this one really stands out from the rest. Customer service could use some improvement, but overall, I would say this is the best DG in Anderson. The staff wasn't rude, but of all my years working in retail, I have never continued a personal conversation with my coworker while the customer was right in front of me. I will be back soon to shop though!

I am shocked to see such good reviews for this store. We moved here a few mths ago and live 4 mins away from this DG. They are always out of stock on so much stuff! Some of the employees are rude. We have started driving to the one in Iva which is 15 mins away but worth the drive to find friendly employees and stocked selves.

Went to my local D G in Iva S.C. today . when I arrived there was a sign on the door that said Masks were required. I doned my mask and went in, my husband is a hospice pt. So it's important to me to not spread germs to him. Not only did the consumers not have masks for the most part nither did the cashier. I am all for personal rites but when a rule is in place I follow it out of respect. No one seemed concerned , no one was keeping buggy's wiped down and no sanitizer wipes any where. I quickly got my items and got out. I called the DG in the next town to ask if I was confused on the rule the gentleman said no and if it was his store he would correct it at once ,I explained it was not. He stated it was a rule that cashiers must wear a mask. I assure you I won't be back. I tried to call and report it but was not able to. I am truly disappointed as our shopping choices are so limited. I just hope no one gets sick.

I recently moved to the country and they are a few miles down the road. Stocked neatly for easy access. The staff is friendly and kind. I have a good experience each time i shop there! Check it out!

Walked inside....nobody in store knew I was there for 10 minutes. No employee was at register. 2 was at back goofing off. Shoplifting could have been easy. But s8nce I'm in law enforcement.....NOT. GET ON JOB PEOPLE

Love the digital coupons because you don't have to keep up with them or sort them or throw out expired ones if you think you will use it just click on it it'll be there until it expires.

You can do your basic grocery shopping here. They sell wonderful blankets and pillows. They have natural color hair dyes. Lots of makeup.

Cashier was really nice, service has always been quick. Just moved to starr and considering most dollar generals I'd say this is the nicest one I've been in compared to others.

The male manager is very helpful and kind, they tend to be out of a lot of things, but they have gotten better at hiring stockers so that's why I give it 4 stars

Staff is only simi helpful when you ask questions.. store is often dirty and things not put up and restocked.. really store needs a better gm and staff!

Will not go back to the S.Main st.store in Anderson...This seems to be a trainwreck and the employees have PLENTY to do if I base my opinion on the way the store looks.I will shop Family Dollar from now on unless they clean up this messy store
