Amazing store with a fantastic knowledgeable team who really care about their clients … both people and birds. 😍 They inspired us to create a bird habitat that has attracted sooo many species. It’s beautiful and feels great to have a haven for the birds. We love the quality of the feeder poles, feeders and accessories. The functional details make a difference and last forever it seems. The nature Birds 101 group walk was fantastic! We are learning so much. What a great hobby! Thank you Team!

Very helpful and friendly staff. They certainly knwo their birds. You can order online and pick up curbside. They will also carry your packages to your car if you shop in the store. They have bird baths too. Definitely worth shopping there.

What a great store! Upon walking in I felt so welcomed and had the best experience. From the music to the store clerk Jonathan Wild Bird Unlimited in Spartanburg was amazing. Jonathan was very friendly and helpful and was right there if we needed anything. They have great products for all bird types as well as things to ward off those pesky squirrels 🐿 from your bird feeders. This store is a one stop shop for all your bird needs.

I had such a great experience a few weeks ago with a young employee - Jonathan. He's the sweetest! Even though i had what were probably stupid questions, he made me feel comfortable asking them and the helped solve my squirrel problem with a new feeder. i love it! Definitely recommend this store if you want to stop feeding those dang squirrels and want great customer service. 5 stars!

Where to begin? Food that my birds love, great variety so they don't get bored. Well built homes for every species, and mounting systems that keep the inhabitants safe and secure. Beautiful bird baths so all have places to get a clean drink of water and a place to bathe on a hot day. A knowledgeable and friendly staff that make suggestions and take my stuff to my car. Love this place...Spartanburg Wild Birds Unlimited.

I could not be more grateful to WBU in Spartanburg for their never-failing great services, stock variety, and communications skills. When I decided to change to no-mess birdseeds, I set about trying to find a supplier near the small town where I live. My research led me to WBU, and then came the choice between the stores in Gastonia or Spartanburg. I’m so very glad that I chose the Spartanburg store, especially after learning that it’s family-owned and -operated.Eric has been of the greatest help to me by his willingness to deliver my online orders to my home in Patterson Springs, NC. A spinal injury has curtailed almost all my ventures out into the world, complicated further by aging. I am especially impressed by Eric! He was so kind as to leave a recent courtesy call to let me know that he was about to go on vacation and that, if I needed anything, to please let him know so that he could see that my personal stock of birdseeds was kept current. Unfortunately, I don’t check my messages as often as I should, so he was already on vacation by the time I found his message. (I must learn to do better with my phone messages!). His call, however, included his return date which enabled me to juggle the amounts of seeds I put out until his return. I consider that degree of his caring about WBU/Spartanburg’s customer base nothing short of exceptional!I’ve been very pleased too with WBU’s quality stock. Their no-mess birdseeds have relieved me of having to pull up all those awful exogenous plants that had begun to take over my lawn. “Home birding” is an activity that, I know now, would be better served by doing a lot of study about it before putting up even that first feeder. Instead, I’ve had to learn so much from my mistakes until I’ve finally gotten it right.With a world made smaller by age and injury, the joy that comes from watching my much-loved wide-variety of wild birds feeding from and playing at all the many feeders I placed a mere 7’ from where my husband and I sit on my screened-in back porch is the highlight of each day for us. Without the wonderful family (and possible other staff — for I’ve never been able to visit there) that owns and operates WBU/Spartanburg, the courtyard created by the placement of fences connecting buildings would be a lifeless space. Instead, with this good family’s help, it is more alive and beautiful than anything else I could have dreamed of here in my older years.Thank you so much for your part in making life here better! On the cold winter days we’ve been having, my husband joins me on the porch most days, wrapped up in an electric throw like mine, and we are both filled with wonder as myriad species of birds descend in absolute abandon at having fresh seeds in all their feeders and trays, all thanks to you. It is the highlight of both of our days!
