Use to be a customer online in 23' no problem. Tried to place order on line 3/24 this app is crazy and crashed numerous times not to mention wasting 2 hrs. Of my time, and it was for much needed compression knee-highs to which I've bought and used for several yrs. Walgreens at this particular location. They have lost a customer.

By far the worse Walgreens I've ever been to. Hell i don't think the pharmacy or the whole setup could've got any worse. Tell me why I've been here waiting a hr for a "rapid test". Not to mention how bad it's been for everyone that's came in to get medicine. I'm not from Spartanburg, but I can promise I'll never come back to this one again.

Had I written this a few months ago I would not have given such a score. They were insanely understaffed, it was impossible to get ahold of someone when you’d try to call the pharmacy and your wait was awful. Well, I don’t know if it has anything to do with their recent change from being open 24 hours or not but they have drastically turned things around. Huge shout out to Jordan who is always extremely helpful. I don’t know if it’s because we come by so much for meds for my family but he always knows what I need, who I’m picking up for, and gives updates on availability of some meds that he knows we take. Previously when the cost for one hard to get ADHD medicine was more than we pay for our bimonthly mortgage payment. He tried to help us with all available options to get the price down. He really seems to want to help his customers and that means a lot.

Terribly rude, slow, uncaring staff, especially those in the pharmacy. The pharmacist hung up on me, manager doesn't return calls. Filed a complaint with Walgreens corporate. If there were better options for a 24hr pharmacy I'd never use them again.

Waited 10 minutes in line after driving 30 minutes to this location on a Sunday only for them to tell me that the name on the prescription was misspelled and that they could not fill it. It was for a non-narcotic medication. This was the only location within a 15 mile radius open Sunday night at 8pm. Needless to say I went a night without pain medication with an orthopedic injury without sleep.

This is what has greeted us at the drive through for over a month-an upside down shopping cart and a handmade sign that the window is broken. There were 14 people in line ahead of me when I went inside. I’ll have to feed my family and go back hoping the line is shorter.

There's a pharmacist that isn't what one would call friendly but aside from her all staff is great. They offer online orders and have pick-up that brings it to your car during certain hours but you can always go inside to pick-up.

Drive thru is insanely slow. Had an appointment to get covid tested. Showed up 15 minutes early. Sat there for 20 mins they only made it through 3 cars and I still had 2 in front of me... I just left. Yall need to tell people to circle to the back if its gonna be minute before their prescription is ready....

If I could give it zero stars I would. I really have no idea what takes this location so long to serve you. Everything I go I sit in the drive thru at minimum 30 minutes before I finally get to the window. Then it's still at least 10 minutes before I get my medicine. I hate this location and just don't know what the hold up is each time. Tonight I went and there were 6 cars in front of me. I waited 45 minutes in line before I got my medicine. If I didn't absolutely need it I would have left.

Pharmacy staff rarely answers the phone, and when they do they are rude. Things that you get texts telling you they are ready will not be ready when you get there. Online it will tell you when you request a refill that it will be ready at a certain time and they NEVER are. I'm moving everything to Wal-Mart pharmacy. Tired of the incompetence and attitude at this place.

This has got to be the worst customer service I've ever experienced from a pharmacy. The staff seems disinterested, rude, and unknowledgable about their jobs. There ALWAYS seems to be a problem with something and no one seems interested in fixing, they basically just ignore you. I would suggest using another Walgreens nearby as the service seems to be night and day. The people at this location simply have no desire to properly serve their customers

Extremely long wait time when calling pharmacy. After 30 minutes the system usually boots you off. You will have to navigate through the automated service then another employee before you will be transferred to someone who can actually help you (at this time the call is almost always dropped). The pharmacy has closed without warning on a number of occasions posting a sign with a reopening time that gets modified at will. In the last year there has been some kind of issue even month. If you have prescriptions that require you to talk to a representative, this is not the pharmacy you want. And by the way, don't rely on the same day delivery service because that's not going to happen either. They will gladly charge you forthat same day delivery fee.

By far the rudest staff in town. If it wasn’t the only 24hr pharmacy in Spartanburg I wouldn’t have even tried. It’s a shame when you can pick up blood pressure medicine because of lazy staff. Cancelled prescription I submitted through the app mid phone call. Thought she hung up but I could still hear her. Refuses to transfer prescription to another pharmacy other than Walgreens. They definitely need to fire the pharmacy manager and/or general manager. As many bad reviews and complaints it’s surprising anyone still has jobs. Hopefully the regional manager that called back was genuine and will do what he said he would.

This place is a mess. Pharmacy is a disaster and can't seem to function. Avoid at all costs. Made online appt and when they called me back only had one of 2 vaccines. Had to wait in line, have the cashier fix it and then wait 45 minutes for the nurse. She knew I needed the second shot but didn't care.

Tried to visit this location tonight just before midnight and found this sign on the front door, with very poorly written English/grammar, and the door deadbolted. Not sure what's going on, but when a store claims 24hr it should absolutely be open 24hr, especially when the store just confirmed their 24hr status 4 days ago. 🙄

This store used to be amazing, the staff were friendly and the service was fast. In the past year the service is so slow you could die waiting to be checked out. The staff, especially in the pharmacy all have attitudes and act like they are put out when they have to deal with a customer. If you drop a prescription off I hope you don't need it for at least 4 to 6 hours because that's the timeline you are given Everytime!!!!! Corporate really needs to pay an unexpected visit!

Update: drive thru has been closed for over a month and looks like it won't be changed any time soon.Incredibly slow pharmacy. They call to tell me my prescription is ready while I am traveling. When I get back 2 days later prescription is still not ready. Thinking about switching back to CVS.

The staff here seem absolutely miserable. There was a supervisor rather loudly and somewhat aggressively, begging the stockers to stock correctly because she will be very upset if she has to come in in the morning and fix what they’ve messed up. I felt uncomfortable having to hear her scold them like they were children. The girl running the register in the pharmacy was awful. I felt like I was bothering her. She seemed angry for having to wait on me. It took an hour of simply waiting for the pharmacist to be able to come out and give us our vaccinations but at least she was pleasant. Not one time did anyone say I’m sorry about the wait or we haven’t forgotten about you. In fact when I turned in my clipboard, the girl in the pharmacy just took it and walked away and I went and sat down. The pharmacy area was gross. I dropped my phone under the seat that I was sitting in and when I reached down to get it, I saw how absolutely disgusting it was under the chair. I started paying attention to the area around me and it was all cluttered and dirty. The girl at the front that checked us out was just as miserable. No smiles or friendly words from anyone except the pharmacist.

I really do not understand all of the negative reviews because I will GLADLY go here over the CVS across the road any day. These 2 were the only 24 hour pharmacies near SRMC’s Immediate Care. I drove 30 minutes to the Immediate Care then another 15 minutes to CVS, they had one prescription & told me the other one, “it’s probably in here but you’ll have to come back in the morning, plus your insurance won’t cover it so better call the doctor & ask for something else” - literally no help. I called Walgreens as a last resort because I’ve always used CVS & they were SO helpful. They got my prescription transferred, ran my insurance, my insurance did indeed not cover it but the pharmacist exhausted all options to get me the lowest price possible & even offered me other recommendations that my insurance would cover. I was so thankful when I left because after leaving CVS I just knew I’d be miserable all night. Thanks to the wonderful ladies at Walgreens, I will be able to sleep tonight! THANK Y’ALL!

I have a 28 day prescription. I got it filled on May 13, which means I should be able to get a refill on June 10th. I’ve been getting my medication filled here on the 28th day since November of 2019. I planed a vacation around this medication and refill. I called yesterday and spoke to two different people in the pharmacy who told me I wouldn’t be able to get my meds until the 29th day because it’s a 24 hour pharmacy, which made no sense, so I asked to speak to the pharmacist. The pharmacist apologized, and said my meds would be ready this morning at four. I called at four thirty this morning, and the lady told me it wouldn’t be ready until 6. I told her what the other pharmacist told me, and she very rudely responded, it’s not someone’s place, on another shift, to tell you when your meds will be ready. I was wanting to leave this morning by 5. I will be changing pharmacies after this!

Phone calls into the pharmacy create no service from the staff. Called and was on hold for 34 minutes with no human interaction. Hung up and called back while I was driving to the store. Arrived in the store to find a pharmacy employee standing behind the counter. He was ready to assist. When he asked how he could help me I replied he could pick up the phone because there were at least 2 people waiting including me. He looked at the phone - didnt pick it up. He helped me. As I sit waiting for myprescription, I havent seen anyone pick up the phone. Oh and neither one of the drive through windows are open! Being open 24 hrs doesnt help if you (oh wait the phone is ringing again and nope- no one is answering. There are two people in the store waiting.)get helped. Sorry but CVS is right across the street! Next time I'm heading there.

My first experience with Walgreens and never have been a customer of their’s. I’d give a 0 if I could. I decided to transfer one of my medication to Walgreens as my pharmacy did not have it in stock. I call them and they said they had it in stock. One of the technicians helped me with the transfers, created my profile and told me it would be 4 hours for my transfer. Signed me up for text message updates. Then I had asked her if she needed my insurance info, she says the pharmacist is the only personal authorized to get my insurance insurance information. So she transferred me...... waited on the phone for 40mins with supposedly only “1 person” in line before me. Normally I hung up and thought I’d give them the Insurance when I get there. Well 4 hours come, I get no text message about my prescription being ready, so I call the store and ask for an update. One of the guys answered the phone and said there was nothing in the system for me. He could not even find my profile. I was furious because I had been told they would take care of this but on the other hand nothing was being worked on for me.

Was in Spartanburg so I thought I would have my medicine filled while I did some shopping . I have never had to wait this long for medication to be filled - I mean never. Dropped it off around noon. Found out the entire Pharmacy closes for lunch between 1:30-2. So they had over an hour before lunch - not filled. It is 3 now - had an hour after their lunch shut down - still not filled. Ridiculous. Called several times to check status. My call was constantly disconnected. Do they not know there is a long list of pharmacies in Spartanburg for people to pick from or do they just not care if they get your business. I’m betting they don’t care by their actions and attitude. Going to one of those other pharmacies from now on.

we made an appointment at 1:15 for a vaccine, and sat for about an hour before receiving it. we got zero communication as to when we would even be able to get in to get the vaccination. this is disrespectful and a waste of time. if you are busy (which they were not) then communicate it to the patrons. we watched one of the pharmacists literally walk out with a bag of food to eat. ridiculous.

This is THE WORST PHARMACY!! On hold for over 15 minutes then someone picks up the phone and hangs up! I call back and have now been on hold another 6mins. Just because they are scheduled to be there doesn’t mean I’m on Walgreens time clock and I don’t have to be there!! I will tell every person I know to STAY AWAY!!

This Walgreens is terrible. The only reason I still have to go here is if I forget to update my pharmacy with a doctor. Otherwise I would rather drive further away to get my scripts than wait in line at this Walgreens. You guys have the worst attitudes. You will completely ignore people at the pharmacy so you can finish your conversations. God forbid you have a question, because you guys are so agitated to have to answer anything. And if you could be just a little bit more miserable at your jobs than maybe they will just close this location so you don't have to come to work at this job you obviously hate. And do not bother trying to call the pharmacy..... I've waited over an hour several times to be disconnected several times.

3rd time the automated system has told me an Rx is ready when it's not, can never get through to them on the phone, always end up waiting for at least 30 mins for an Rx I was told was ready.Update: I have come to find that the automated system is not reliable in the pharmacy has even told me so. I have changed my review from 2 to 4 stars as I have used their website now to keep track of my prescription status and has been much more reliable. The staff at the store itself is very nice and helpful & is a clean and professional store.Further update Jan 2022: the customer service here has really gone down hill lately. I sat on the phone waiting for an hour waiting to speak to someone & just when I was next they hung up on me. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Not okay!

Do not go here to get your vaccine, or realistically, any other reason. I scheduled my first vaccine appointment because the app said they had Pfizer. By the time my appointment came around, I waited an hour in-store just to be told they had Pfizer but were only giving out Moderna. Another person was there trying to get their second dose of Pfizer, he made it abundantly clear that he needed Pfizer, but the nurse still tried to give him Moderna. Today I came back for my second dose, when I scheduled it on the app it said they were doing Moderna, however when I was filling out my paperwork they informed me that they only had Pfizer. I asked if they would transfer my appointment to a different Walgreens and the pharmacist flat out refused. The employees were rude to me and other customers.I’ve only ever had poor customer service experiences here, which saddens me because I’ve always loved Walgreens. I will be transferring all my future prescriptions and will not be returning to this location again.

Horrible my mother has cancer never have her meds.....constant run around about prescription status even tring to get it transfered out was a pain in the butt....never use this company should be shut down especially this location
