VERY helpful and knowledgeable staff. I've been getting my prints done here for years. Always done well.Recently I went in to get a picture of a close family member enlarged for the funeral. I was a little emotional and they took great care of me. I wanted some parts of the picture removed so it focused only on the person. They did the touch ups perfectly!We've since taken several of old pics to be touched up and those have been done equally well.This group of people are truly caring professionals.

They got great supplies and equipment. The only place in town to get gear. Staff is super helpful and friendly. When I can’t wait on Amazon to deliver, this is my go to place! They rent equipment and gear here as well. I rented their led lights to test some things and rented their flash. Super easy process and easy to deal with.

Great experience renting my first lens from them. they were super kind and knowledgeable and had a great stock of quality cameras, lenses and anything photography related you may need. Definitely recommend them. They are also very reputable for sensor cleaning, so don’t hesitate to trust them to clean any expensive camera you may own.

They refused to help us, were rude and were not professional. We wanted to rent a camera, they asked for 2 forms of identification (I went to the car to get the insurance ID as 2nd form), when I came back they said their internet is down and can't help.If the internet was truly down, wouldn't they mention that right away before I went to get the 2nd form of ID.They were helping other customers since the customers were able to buy things using their card reader which requires internet.

There isn’t a reason this place shouldn’t have 5 stars. I take all my film here, get it processed, it gets sent to me. It’s a very simple and quick process. Their pricing is great and makes me want to continue to shoot film. I buy most of my rolls here.. really there is nothing I can say that’s negative. The workers are extremely kind and they know what they’re talking about. I came in and had to wait a bit because someone in line was having questions about ordering prints… the worker was patient and kind and gave his input. I think it’s great that he was respectful and knowledgeable about his business and towards customers. I see a lot of people at other places have attitudes.. this place is different. You get treated extremely well here. I always have a great experience and will continue to use them and recommend them to everyone. If you have any questions, ask! They know what they’re talking about!

They made a copy of a canvas photo of my parents, and it was BEAUTIFUL. They had copied it years ago, but it got lost. I had them reprint it again for me again, and it was MAGNIFICENT!!! If you EVER need photography work, THIS is the place to go!!!

I've been here about 3 times, and every time, I'm greeted and helped promptly by the staff who is 100% always going to do their best to get you what you need. I rented a lens and it was a very good experience. If you want information on any camera or accessories, they are so knowledgeable and all-around great to work with.

I loved this store. I went in and everything was just laid out on display and it was beautiful. The staff were extremely welcoming and let me look at any camera my heart desired. They even told me about the brands I was interested in with unbiased facts about the performance of the cameras. 10/10 would snap again.

My husband and I went to get ourselves new cameras and lenses, and they had exactly what we wanted and even some used lenses, too. Not sure what I would have done without Spartan Photo Center. I was a professional photographer for 50 years, lugging around a heavy camera bag and tripod on each assignment. Now, semi-retired at the age of 78, I was looking for a light-weight upgrade from the compact, consumer-level digital cameras and smart phones I’d been using in my personal work since joining the digital revolution 11 years ago.Unlike the good old film days, there are now an overwhelming number of brands and models to choose from. The challenge I faced was finding a brick-and-mortar store where I could hold an actual camera in my hands, and talk with a knowledgeable salesperson familiar with the marketplace. Such establishments are few and far between today, and the big box stores with their limited selections, display cameras that hardly ever work, and inexperienced sales help, don’t quite cut it. For me, online shopping, while great for research, was a non-starter.That the Spartan Photo Center is thriving in a relatively small market while so many other camera stores have gone out of business tells you something about their expertise, services, and product line. Except for Panasonic, it offers a wide range of new and used equipment, while catering to professionals as well as amateurs. Every Nikon, Canon, Sony, Fuji, and Olympus camera I was considering was on hand for me to look at. I ended up buying the Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark III camera body and M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-100mm f/4 IS PRO lens, both of which met my needs and specs. Cost was competitive with B&H and Amazon.Special thanks to Brandon who very patiently showed me one camera after another over the course of two different visits, answered all my questions, and eventually came up with the Olympus option when I was about to go home empty-handed. I’m so grateful that SPC exists as the photography place to go in upstate South Carolina. I just wish it would open a branch in Clemson! ☺

The staff at Spartan photo center are very knowledgeable about photography gear and always eager to share that knowledge.. Their selection of products is very good for an establishment of its size. Anything not immediately available can be ordered.I am so thankful to have a quality resource for photography gear and services in the upstate. If I'm not mistaken they are the only photography store in the state..

This people are so unprofessional and all over the place. 1 person says one things, u call an hour later the other person has no clue of what is going on the kept my camera for 3 weeks and service was supposed to take 2 days for pickup up I brought my usb drive purchased at Walmart for 7 bucks they wanted to charge me 25 bucks for the same thing. I went to pick up my camera and they had no clue where my device was. Never going there again.

Very useful place for a photographer like me. I went everywhere I could in the upstate for a replacement camera for a job i needed to do on short notice. They told me I could rent a camera on the spot but seeing what kind of camera I prefer, they found one to sell me and i was able to get my job done and the prices was very reasonable. It has pretty much anything you need for most all cameras and they can send yours to the company for repairs. If the people could be a bit more friendly, I would give 5 stars.

I love this store! I’m very grateful that I happen to live near such a gem and I will say that they are all extremely helpful as well as patient with all my questions. One of them (forgot their name) even helped explain how to use my camera’s light meter along with how to take out the film out of my camera which really helped me a ton as I am new to film photography. Also I have turned in a good bit of film to be developed and they blew expectations away with quality results and it’s fast, usually wait about 3-4 days and already have them sent to my email! Support local businesses such as this one! Stores like these bring color to our great city of Spartanburg sc!
