We drive an hour to get to see Dr.McCravy and his staff. They have treated our dogs for years and we trust them completely. They have been there through the joy of bringing a puppy home to the sadness of a beloved fur child crossing the rainbow bridge. We appreciate that they are always cognizant of costs and help us make informed decisions. It is beyond obvious that Dr.McCravy and his staff love our dog (and all dogs) and want the best for her ( and us). Thank you so much for the love and care you show our fur child.

We have taken all of our pets over the past 13 years to the amazing staff here. Even after we moved and there are other more convenient veterinary clinics closer to us, we will remain with RRAH due to the amazing care and compassion they provide.

I was completely disappointed with my first time visit today. I called two weeks ago to clarify my appointment needs - when I called I confirmed my dog could be bathed during the visit , confirmed that the appointment would be $189.00. I was even more uncomfortable when I got into the exam room and I tried to confirm the tasks for the visit when I was scolded by the girl in the second picture. She was simply rude and I was about to leave but dog needed to be taken care of, so I stayed . I met the Veterinarian for the visit who was very informative and pleasant. The exam was productive. I returned to the front desk when the women in the first picture became perplexed because I ask to review the bill before I swiped my card . I noticed my bill was taken up to $251.00, very different for the $189.00. Annoyed and ready to get my pet home - I handed my card to her and said I just wanted to pay and leave. She swiped the card and I extended my hand for my card and she sat it on the desk next to my hand. That was it and stated I would never return because of her rude service - she shrugged her shoulders and I looked with disbelief.Customer service - is everything to me - especially in a racially charged country . I will never return because of these two rude employees.

We have been taking our Rosie to see Dr. McCravy and staff since 2021. We've moved around a lot, so we've taken Rosie to 5 vets in 3 cities in 6 years. Reidville Road Animal Hospital has by far been our favorite! Clean office, friendly and knowledgable staff.

Dr. McCravy and staff were phenomenal. As a new patient, he took the time to review my dog's old records before meeting me and asked me further about the details. He took a very complete history and did a comprehensive physical exam. He has great bedside manner and my dog felt very comfortable with him although he's not the biggest fan of going to the vet. I'm very happy to end my search for a vet that I trust after moving to the area!

I have been bringing my pets to Reidville Rd Animal Hospital since I moved to Spartanburg in 2001. Dr McCravy is by far the absolute best vet I have ever had for my animals. He never makes me feel rushed, he answers all my questions (sometimes even before I ask them!) He is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and so sweet to our pets. The other staff has always been friendly and helpful as well. I have referred every friend that has a pet to Dr McCravy, and I will continue to do so as he consistently provides excellent care!!

We took our dog who is losing weight in for an exam, after checking him they decided to take tests saying it could be his kidneys. Told us they would send the test out and call us tomorrow. Well tomorrow came and went without a call so the next day we called to see what’s going on to be told one test was still not back. So my question is why wouldn’t they call us to give us results of what they did find to give us some idea how our dog and member of our family is doing. For what they charged us I think they could call us twice.Oh well from what I have read in their reviews if you’re taking your animal in for a check up they’re 5 stars but for anything else find a vet that cares about your animal. I certainly will!!

I have been taking my 5 rescue dogs here for 2 years now. I could not ask for better care. Dr. McCravy is genuinely so sweet and gentle with my pets. He is knowledgeable, professional, and cares about your pet's overall health and well being. The front staff and nurse tech as also some if the best I've come across.

Called at 8 AM no one answered the phone. and about an emergency with my dog. No one returned my phone call. Called again around 8:30 AM and no one answered the phone. On my way to Greenville for emergency care. This is disheartening not to have any response at an Animal Hospital that says online it’s open on Saturday.

Our dog has seen veterinarians all over the country...from Colorado Springs, to Denver, to Mt. Pleasant, SC...all pale in comparison to the level of care, attention and expertise of Dr. Hearon McCravy. We always come away feeling well-informed and confident that our dog has received excellent care. He is thorough in his exams and doesn't rush through your appointment. He will definitely take great care of your family!

Today we called the office to ask if we could bring in our cat, Rocky, who is wheezing and acting as if there is something stuck in his throat. We were told there was no “wiggle room” in their schedule today. This is the second time we have needed Dr McCravy and have been turned away. For years he has been wonderful with our animals, but if you are too busy to take care of my animal when he needs you, then you don’t deserve to be my vet. Both times, we were welcomed right away at Pet-Vac, so we will save ourselves the trouble of being told we cannot bring our sick pet in, and move all our business to the kind, caring folks at Pet-Vac!

Today we had to let our big baby girl,Phantom, cross over and the whole crew was phenomenal from the time we arrived to the time two of them escorted our baby out to our vehicle. It wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for, but I can’t say enough about the treatment we experienced and the efforts to save our baby. Thank you.

NEVER GO TO THIS VET. I have spent over $4,500 here in 3 years on my two dogs. One had Cushings disease. The testing was endless and expensive. They seem oh so caring but...in the past 3 weeks my dog went downhill very fast. I kept calling to try and get in. They simply could not find the time. She got dementia. Walking in circles for hours, running into corners and not knowing how to get out. I called again, begging to get in to put her down. Nope. So I called Westside Vet on Rediville who I had not been to in 5 years. I called at noon and they got me in at 3pm. We put her down humanely. I even got hugs in the parking lot. Dr. McCravy has the highest prices I have ever seen -$541.00 to spay my puppy. My best friend got hers done for $50.00 at West Spartan. Please do not go here. They pretend to care, but they do not when it is critical. VERY EXPENSIVE

There is not enough words to express to Dr McCravy and his staff the exceptional, professional, loving care they have given to our pets and us. We have been with them for several years now. They have treated our 3 dogs throughout the years. When our pets passed away, the compassion, care and love that our pets received by everyone was remarkable. Not only did I cry of our loss but they had tears as well.There was a time that I found a beautiful dog hurt in a ditch by the side of the road. A gentleman pulled over and helped me to put the dog in my car. I called Antionette and told her my situation with this helpless pet. When I arrived they came out with a stretcher to carry this hurting sweet pet in.Immediately this pet was given the treatment that he needed, he had a broken hip. He didn't have a collar nor chip. We were at a loss. Dr McCravy's staff took the initiative and concern to make calls around the area with other clinics, the Humane Society and others to find the owners. I went home and called my neighbors and they called their neighbors. Guess what? They found the owners, they were an older couple, on social security and no resource to pay their pets care. Antionette stepped up and paid for this couples pet care through her Fund Raising Program that she and her husband have for rescued and retired police dogs. What a blessing. When I later found this out from the couple I broke down and cried. This is the kind of staff that Dr McCravy has in his office!After the loss of our 3 pets and time to grieve, we now have a miniature chihuahua, his name is Winchester! His tags are bigger than him. What a joy it brings me to know that Winchester is going to have the best care I can offer him. Amen? Amen! 🐾❤️

Maybe we are spoiled having come from Michigan and had the opportunity to use the incredible Dr. Pol as our Vet, but Reidville is extremely expensive. I understand a city Dr. vs. a country Dr., but the prices are astronomical in comparison. It seems unethical to charge so much. As for our pets care we will not be returning to Reidville. It is pricing models like those used by Reidville that scare me away from future pet ownership.

Fine for checkups, awful for emergencies. I was just told they were "fully booked til Tuesday morning" when I called with an emergency at 8am. As if to salt the wound I was then referred to an emergency vet on Woodruff road like there's not one on Blackstock. I feel, to clear any confusion, they should remove that they provide emergency services when that appears to really only mean "when it suits us." I'd rather go to another vet that I know doesn't provide emergency services than be dismissed at a critical time with no remorse.
