This place was a recommendation for the Regional VP and man did it hit just right. The food was fresh and flavorful as well as plentiful The portion size was enough for me to have for lunch the next boy. The cheese was freshly shredded and the cubes were cut from fresh block cheese. The ranch was a house blend and was delicious. the meat, turkey and ham and bacon was fresh cut and not package. This was an amazing salad and wish I could get one like that here in the ATL area.

The food here is always delicious. However, the past few times my wife and I have tried eating here, the time to get our food has been ridiculous. The wait staff are nice and very apologetic, but we have been told our food will be right out, only to find out it hasn’t even been started on yet, 15 minutes later. The most recent time on 4/29, we walked in and out of about 20 people, not one table had their food. We asked how long the wait time was because we only had 45 minutes- the waitress told us not long at all, turned around to ask the cook- who then proceeded to roll her eyes and said “it takes as long as it takes.” My wife and I decided to leave just to save the cook the trouble of making our sandwich.

The pita had crunchy spots and the lettuce was largely gooey. The chicken was dry and had no flavor.It was not up to it's normal level.

I have eaten at a lot of sandwich shops but this did not quite make it. My soup came out microwaved, super hot on top and stone cold in the middle. And i could tell my sandwich meats were also microwaved. I got a hot sandwich and the bread was not toasted and it had hot meats so the bread was super soggy.Pasta salad was mostly dressing and it was just sugary vinegar.

Amazing food, fast service, friendly workers. I highly recommend the “My Wife’s Salad Bowl.” I added grilled chicken and it was genuinely the best salad i’ve ever had.

I ate here a couple of times over the course of a week and a half. The sandwiches I got were just OK but they were meant to be prepared hot and I got them cold because I wasn’t going to eat them immediately. I got the “My Wife’s Salad Bowl” and it was very good. My only complaint was that they don’t give you enough salad dressing. It came with one little cup of dressing, but luckily I ordered and extra one or it would’ve been disappointing. I also got their toffee blonde crunch bar it was incredible. Their ranch and blue cheese were great as well and seemed to be homemade. I ordered a side of pumpernickel bread and it was two pieces that were a little stale but I can toast them for breakfast, so it wasn’t a big deal. This place is a solid deli and they seems to care about the quality of their ingredients.

This place opened in 1941 and was probably the last time it was cleaned. The table and floor were sticky and greasy, big black sticky stains on the floor with hair, dust, plastic, napkins, grease, etc. The glass door at the entrance has all the fingers of all the customers that have entered this place, even the soles of my shoes stuck on the black sticky floor. The whole place is full of dust. The salt and pepper bottles dirty and sticky. I had to wipe dow my seat, the table the salt and paper. The food is not great either. Never again.

OK sandwiches, it could have used more meat to equal some of the other sandwich shops offerings for the price. I didn't realize the pickle spear was missing for both of our sandwiches untill writing this & thats a big "dill'!. Judging by the reviews I'm not the only one saying the amount of meat was lacking. Probably wouldn't return.

We stopped in for lunch to have a quick bite. The service was friendly and quick. Conveniently located on the corner of North Church and East Main Streets in downtown Spartanburg, South Carolina, you will be able to find parking close by. A variety on the menu will cover just about everything that you would like. We were surprised to learn that they didn't have a soup on the menu. Something usually associated with a deli.

This deli has a very home like atmosphere. There was a broad variety of things to choose from on the menu at a very reasonable price. Their signature pasta salad is so good, I brought two additional sides of it for later.

The food is good but the discrimination is real. My daughter and I came in and were the first people here and about 5 different groups of white families came in and was served before us. We had to wait 40 minutes for our food. This is the second time this has happened. Sad. And the saddest part is the people working were African American and they treated us this way. Never again will I come here.

Grandpa restaurant feeling. Very good service when putting order. Place kept clean, but you could be confuse by decoration of the place, since they use product boxes and so forth for holding and display chips and other items.

I've never been here, today was my first time. I ordered through postmaster. I ordered a side of potatoe salad with the sandwich, it was left off and I got Cole slaw instead. The oil and vinegar was left off the sandwich that I requested. So now I got a dry sandwich without the side I asked for. And i can't even return it for a refund because I got it delivered and postmates will only refund 2 dollars. I've heard to many good things about this lace to have my very first experience be this bad.

On my way to work Ill occasionally stop into Groucho's occasionally where I'm always greeted by a friendly, energetic, young staff. I usually get their(and I may have this wrong) dipper sandwich. Which is a hot ham and turkey type sandwich on a roll that comes with a dipping sauce and a bag of chips. The sandwiches are good but I feel a bit too expensive for what it is. The dining area definitely needs some work but is a testament to how long they've been around and to the college aged clientele they're geared toward having a study section off on one side. All in all Groucho's is a decent place to grab a sandwich on the go and a good way to support local businesses.

I used Groucho's catering for my little girls birthday party and it was so easy. They had everything ready and waiting when I showed up for pick up. They also have a delivery option if needed. Everyone enjoyed their subs and chicken salad sandwiches. I will definitely be using them again for other parties and I highly recommend them for others.

I ordered a roast beef and ham on a roll. Service was quick so I was happy. The sandwich was so hot I had to wait a few minutes to eat it so i ate the bag of potato chips that came with the meal. The chips were not good. Very thin, very lightly salted. I prefer kettle type chips, these were as boring and tasteless as I've ever had. Back to the sandwich....I picked it up, it was very spongy, it was like a large hot dog bun, which is bad enough but they microwaved it!!! Everyone knows you don't put bread in the microwave. By the time I finished, it was turning hard, yuck.In the positive side, the meat was good and the portion was adequate.To qualify as a good sandwich you need quality ingredients and the correct bread product. A hard hoagie roll or a toasted bun would have made all the difference.

So disappointing tonight. Got the my wife's salad bowl. Brown lettuce, no cheese, couple pieces of meat. The other vegetables looked past their date. Won't be looking forward to going back. Eat there all the time. Maybe wait and let them get their game together before I go back.
