So you definitely can find good stuff at the Goodwill but be careful when u check out they charged my card 130 dollars saying it did not go threw telling me it would go back on my card and I ended up paying with a different card it did not I called the bank to dispute it and goodwill would not release the fundsBank telling me to go there and talk to themI called left a voicemail no one picks up the phoneI went and spoke to the manger BRANDY I talked to her in the normal way and she got frustrated telling me I need to call corporate to open a investigation and she wouldn’t let me finish me trying to tell her I ended up paying with 2 different cards showing her my statement being super rude and honestly didn’t care to help at all and tried to check out the next customers while I clearly waited to be spoke to and it’s 130 dollars! Not a few dollars she was being super mean and not understanding of the situation and wouldn’t give me a number for the head manager !Goodwill need to get better management to handle those types of situations when they overcharged people and need to have better machines when charging customers!

When you walk in, this place looks very neat and orderly compared to other Goodwill stores until you make your way to the bric a brac section where it is a complete mess. It is cluttered with useless & broken items and jaw dropping expensive items. They do have a great shoe section though.

I donate to Goodwill all the time. I dropped off some items today and the man at the drop off was very rude. He almost ran me over and threw my items in a bin and broke one of them! I then asked for a receipt and he grunted and mumbled under his breath before he gave me my receipt. I cannot believe the customer service I received. This is more common place now that the population is expanding! Unbelievable!!!

Small place. Not that much to choose from but it looks somewhat clean and organized. I was looking for outdoor pots and planters and didn’t find any large ones that i was looking for. But here’s pictures of what i saw in the store. Maybe you’re looking for something I posted.

This is one of the most cluttered Goodwill stores I have been to by far. Nothing is even remotely organized toward the back, everything is piled up and it is very junky. They sell a lot of broken, useless items for $4 and up. They also sell feminine products, toilet cleaner, used lotion, etc. for more than the retail stores do! Also, last time I shopped here, I wanted to buy a tray but at the counter they said I couldn't buy it because it didn't have a sticker on it. I asked if they could come up with a price they thought was fair but said no and took it behind the counter. There are better thrift stores.

The man running the donation side was incredibly rude. He was tossing items recklessly into the bin and some things he threw ended up on the ground.

Dude one of the BEST places i’ve been to since moving to spartanburg. just came from charleston and even their goodwill cannot compare to this one. I love it so much and the staff was so friendly and helpful omg 💗 they also have SOO much to chose from its amazing. just did a closet revamp and I can say that this is the store that you want to go to hehe. definitely will be coming more :)) excited!!

I dropped off a brand new bookcase because it was too tall for the area I wanted it in. The Goodwill employee came out at the Blackstock location in Spartanburg SC and set the brand new shelves on the edge of something, and they all crashed to the concrete. He grabbed the bookshelf and pushed the back of the bookshelf off and dragged it across the concrete on the nice surface of the top of the bookcase. Never again. I will donate to the Salvation Army from now on.

I try to be pleasant and understanding, but it is difficult at times when you only meet a person once. The young lady at checkout looked like she had eaten a bowl of worms for breakfast. She did not speak other than to tell me the price of something I wanted to purchase. She told me it was was one price and charged another. The store, however, itself was relatively clean and well-organized.

I've been shopping there for years but today was the worst experience I've ever had. I always shop at the 50cent rack because it's such a great deal. Today around 1-1:45 I was shopping at the 50 cent rack the racks were so tight full of clothes I had to move them around to be able to see the items. An employee was putting more clothes in the rack and pushing the clothes as I was looking and pushes the clothes I was looking at down the rack. I looked up surprised like does she see that I'm trying to look?? I got frustrated and decided to check out. I always check to make sure I had the correct tag. I had 3 items that were regular price and the rest were 50 cents. At the register I realized she had me rung up for 3 other items at regular price when they were supposed to be 50 cents I asked her politely that they should be 50 cents she said no you had some at regular price I said well can you check them and she said they're already in the bag its too late. I said ok whatever at that point I didn't want to argue. I got home and checked my bag and she clearly charged me regular price for 3 50 cent items. I am beyond disappointed even though it was only a few dollars more it shows how unprofessional and rude your employees are. The lady was a short African American lady. She didn't bother to help at all. You need to hire new employees who have experience with customer service I work with customers everyday and this is unacceptable. If you don't do anything to address the situation I will make sure everyone knows how terrible this location is and I won't be donating anymore items nor shopping at this location.

The employee are very rude, most of them anyway, only about 3 that are nice. They follow you around and watch your every move like you going to steal something. The inventory in the store and all goodwill are free donations , so why such the high prices , I have shoped for years at goodwill stores , I spend a lot of money there. But this store is ridiculously high. They are pricey on things that don't cost that much new. I have seen stuff that came from dollar tree and they will be priced 3 or 4 dollars .It's crazy , Place like this is for people that can't afford new high dollar merchandise. And people that can afford it donate to help both, getting jobs and for people that can't afford high prices. People are donating items to make someone rich. Not helping the needy. Shame on you!

Great Deals if you don't mind used clothing and if you know your brand names.I enjoy getting my shop therapy here. Takes time as you have to go through all the racks for the best at the least $$. I usually spend an hour or more shopping everytime I go.

Went to this location today and the experience was terrible. The woman who runs the register was rude and dismissive. We had an item that did not have a price sticker. When we go to the counter to pay we informed the woman of this. She grabbed the item and said sorry it needs to go in the back to be priced. This item was a child who was right there. Her dismissive attitude and I hate my job outlook was completely uncalled for. Will never give this location anymore business. It was a simple fix that the woman could not be bothered with. Horrible choice in a front counter associate.

It's feast or famine. Some employees, like Jacquelyn. (Jackie) are super friendly and cause me to stop in almost daily. Others, like the female manager, will make sure i dont spend any money and a lot less time that day. Just rude. Prices are almost always too high, except when you find something exceltional. Then it's great. $5 for Guess Jeans or Lacoste Polo Shirts fir example.. Otherwise, they dont put nearly enough clothes on $1 or $.50 clearance. Poor people need those sales. Please stop with the 25% off nonsense and mark all clearance down to $1

I always shop here n have a pleasant experience and always find very unique things for great prices but after today I will NEVER shop here again. I stood in line for at least 10 minutes just to get to the register n this short heavy set african american woman just turned off her light and walked off. I stood there and when I seen her again I asked her was she going to ring me up she laughed and said " oh I'm closed" I left all my items n left the store. She is extremely rude and I'm not sure why they would hire someone who obviously hates the job.

We bought one item and paid with credit card, after checking how much we paid on our credit app they somehow charged more then it showed on recite. This in not the first time they charge as more than the Item cost with price tag. My wife told me many times that they over charged her several times. People be aware of this place. Also lady's that work there not friendly, except one Gentlemen most of time he is nice and friendly.

One of my favorite Goodwill stores around. They have a huge selection of women's clothes, as well as shoes and kids. This whole store has the most donated items that I've seen in the area also with daily deals, even days with 50 cent clothes. Check them out!

I see why people just have yard sales now because the staff are NASTY! I had so many brand new & very gently worn baby girl and boy clothes and shoes excellent condition some still with tags on them. Brand new pregnancy pillow full length, and plenty of children's books and dvds. I pulled around where the bell automatically rings, no one came after a while so I went in, told the lady who was the only one present at the time I wanted to donate some things she only replied that donations stop at 7:30 it was only 6:50. She never proceeded with more information rung up another customer then asked "do you want a manager" 😑 I guess I did since she wasn't eager to help. She proceeded to call the manager when she came all she said was "she" pointed at me, then said "needs you" lol smh whatever, so I tell the Manager who never greeted me nor smiled and was looking like I interrupted her as well so I said "hey I'm parked over where you drop off donations but no one came I'd like to donate" now I'm not sure if she speaks English well or not but she just motioned for me to go back to my car. Now mind you I'm not sure exactly how they are taking everything now since covid so I was asking exactly how it worked since I've never donated before and she starts yelling "bring it here" very rude and I was simply trying to make sure everything was good on my end gathering the big bags and etc at that point already taken aback by the cashier then the manager so I just got back in my car and pulled off. I'm sure Goodwill operates solely on donations or mostly that anyway so you'd think the workers would be more pleasant with people who are trying to give. I'd rather take my things to a place more nice because the attitudes I was given was like my things were not needed and that's OK! I took them elsewhere where I was greeted and assisted to help someone else who may need those items. I only gave 1 star or else I wouldn't have been able to leave this review

Every time I have come to this store lately it has went downhill as far as customer service goes. I just went in looking for some stuff for my house and I found some pretty glass pieces for my kitchen and the woman turned them over several times and stuck them under the counter. I told her I was buying those and she said they had no sticker so I couldn't have them because the pricing people had left for the day. Come back another day and see if I could find it again to buy it. Really? I just spent my time in your store for stuff you put on the shelf and you decide you don't want to sell it to me so you tell me to come back another day and see if I can find it? No thank you.

We had a wonderful experience today at drop off. An extremely kind and friendly young man helped my husband unload a box of vases. He thanked us for bringing in a donation. I wish all service people had his manners and gracious demeanor.Thank you for making this a better day for us!

Incredibly good deal and ONE incredibly good employee. My fiance and I recently bought a leather recliner couch and loveseat combo for only $30!! They were still in quite good condition, just some scratch marks here and there, a complete steal! We consulted with ONE employee who was extremely nice, extremely helpful, and even helped us transport the furniture to our home for nothing!...however, on the day we came to complete the transaction and take our furniture home, the rest of the staff was not so pleasant. I was greeted as though I was inconveniencing them. 1 employee loudly complained about the fact that the doors were propped open briefly so that we could take the furniture, another employee was short with me when I went to give her my stub to show that I paid for the couches. Were it not for the rudeness I received on the day I picked my furniture up, I would have given this place 5 stars.

I would have given five stars but one of the women that work here was very rude to my grandkids. Now my grandkids were not the only ones in the store the only kids there were a lot playing with toys, running, hiding under clothes racks all just being kids but when my two granddaughters ran down one of the aisles she screamed at them stop running so right then I told her you need to be quiet do not holler at these kids you have no idea what they've been through, so for the store the clothes, purses, shoes five stars for some of the personnel two stars so I evened it out to three I've had other rude customer service people but I do love the store I found a brand new Aigner pocketbook never been opened got it for $5 you can find name brand stuff you just have to dig.

I use to love this store. I would go 2 or 3 times a week. The last 4 times I have been have not been good . I dont know who they have put in charge of the pricing but it has gotton unreal! A wooden childs toy had a price tag of $16.00. I can go buy it without the dirt for $20.00. Some Christmas candles that were half burnt weeks after Christmas have a price tag of $5.00. And the shoes, half of the ones that are on the racks have chew marks. And a small entertainment center was priced for $125.00. Rude & outrageous. No thanks.

Got good merchandise, but was not given my Tuesday senior discount even though I asked about it before items were rung up and after they were rung up. Didn't have my glasses with me. Had to go back in and ask for my receipt. Associate kept saying how tired she was, and how long she had been there that day. Usually a much better experience at this location.

I walked in at 7:45pm (they close at 9pm) the rude lady with the accent and curly hair announced they were closing in 45 minutes cut the lights off in the back and came right next to me sliding and moving things around me in a loud and aggressive manor. A family walked in and she stood with her arms crossed watching them. As I type this I get nervous all over again. I’ve noticed her terrible attitude before. My advice, if you see her working leave she’s aggressive and rude!

They have some items overpriced for a thrift store. I found some dollar tree merchandise that was priced for $4.00. Yeah a $1.25 bud vase at dollar tree will cost you $4.00 here.

So I lost several sizes down in clothing so I thrift to safe money. After checking the whole store I wanted to check the glass counters. There are two. Sometimes I'm lucky to find a great purse,earrings or a bracelet or two. The first person at checkout showed me several cases and trays with no problem. The second lady yelled at me and would only show me a tray one at a time. I waited until the person she was waiting on was done then asked. She refused saying the checkout line was first. She treated me like I was going to steal everything there. After yelling at me she talked to the lady for 10 mins extra complaining about her extra wide feet. I was treated better at a Louie Vuitton store. If I see her again I will walk out.

workers are pretty mean sometimes overcharge you and the shelfs are full of garbage they just throw onto it and they don't really care much abt customers or the store they just care abt sending there expensive goods they get to there website!!
