We recently moved into Drayton a couple months ago, and we LOVE our new home. Not only is it the most beautiful place to live, but everyone is simply so happy here. The leasing agents are who and what makes this place what it is! They are honest, helpful, and so bubbly!We worked with sweet Brooke and she did and continues to do an amazing job making our home a sweet home! Sabrina, Susan, and Amber have always been there to help if Brooke is working with other residents. I love the consistency with dray. It stays so clean and so happy with fun things to do and the beauty of it. Don’t think twice about moving here, just do it.

We have been very pleased with our decision to lease at Drayton Mills Lofts. The apartments are in great condition and safe. The character of the building and surrounding restaurants/walking trails create a simply beautiful living environment! We have appreciated the leasing office staff as well. They take care of repairs and/or concerns in a timely manner. We are happy to call it home.

We have really enjoyed our experience at Drayton Mills Lofts. From application to daily living, the experience has been the best we could have asked for. We love the history of the location, the exposed brick and the hardwood floors are so much charm. Our loft is beautiful and it just feel like home, comfortable and inviting. We have no plans on leaving anytime soon!

The experience of living at Drayton Mills has definitely taken a drastic change for the better! The management here has been awesome to meet all expectations in any needs that I might’ve had. In the summer the pool is wonderful in the winter, the ambience of the restaurants the outside bands is wonderful. The restaurants and coffee shops are all very close. they even have an awesome gym! It absolutely has been a great experience. I definitely would recommend for anyone looking for apartments in the Spartanburg area

DO NOT RENT HERE, especially students!CONS:- apartment was filthy when we moved in (mold in the toilets, food still in the pantry, rotted baseboards in bathrooms)- there is no overhead lighting in the living room, or bedrooms (which they didn't bother telling us before we moved in)- management... I cannot stress this enough - Property manager Brooke told me she'd get back to me after my car was hit in the parking lot and never did. They also do nothing about noise complaints.- you can hear your neighbors conversations, hear them get ice, use the microwave, flush the toilet, literally every step they take in their apartment- your car will likely get broken into (20+ car break-ins within 2 weeks and not even new cameras or an apology from management)- hallways smell like weed and cigarettes constantly- side door is propped open almost daily, so you can get in without a key- Curtesy officer does not answer his phone and does not respond- pool is open for less than 3 months (I think it is open the least out of any other apartment complex in Spartanburg)- dog poop everywhere - sidewalks, grass, hallways inside- not enough parking, so half the time I have to park across the street and cross the roadPROS:- very quick maintenance, they're always very nice- big windowsThey give you money off of your rent to vote for them for best apartment, which is I'm assuming the only reason they continue to win every year. Don't be fooled by it.

I moved in from out of state and Drayton Mills welcomed me with open arms. I have been so impressed with not only the apartment itself but the amenities and the staff. Definitely check out Drayton Mills and you will be just as impressed as I am!

Drayton has been such a nice place to live! The maintenance team is so quick & the property management team have been so accommodating. Brooke has been such a light and is constantly looking out for us. She’s made our first home in SC such a dream!! We can’t say enough good things about Drayton. Highly recommend checking them out!!

The apartments themselves are great, but when we told them we were not renewing our lease, they asked us if we could provide them with the dimensions of our apartment and pictures of it, which they have on their website, because I found everything they asked us for within two seconds of looking on there. When they asked us that, I knew the management staff clearly did not know what they were doing. Besides the management, it was a great place to live with all kinds of fun amenities.

I am a current renter at this place and I have had nothing but a bad experience from the time I moved in. The apartment was not clean. The crown molding was water damaged from the shower in the bathroom. The carpet was dirty and needed to be replaced. The unit had not been painted. The windows which was what drew me to rent here were dirty on the outside. The oven had not been cleaned. I took pictures of all these things and I will post them just so people can see. For these to be considered luxury apartments and for the amount of money I pay the management has been very resistent in fixing these things. I have made work order requests just to have the regional manager walk through my unit and deny them after they had been approved in a written email from their site manager. This place is definitely not ran properly. I would not rent here.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Very disappointed that 1 star is the lowest rating possible. If I could leave negative stars I would, as that would be the best description to describe my experience with my room and with management. The rooms are marketed as luxury, which they are far from. What stands out the most is the incompetence of management. After numerous move-out faults by management, they owed me and my roommates a check of about 2k and another check of 1.6k. I met with management countless times over the span of about 8 months to receive these checks. Any issues I had, management simply told me "Corporate is aware and they decide what to pay out." I was never allowed to speak to corporate and received no updates for months despite repeated meetings. In the end, we received the 2k check and not the 1.6k check. As I am in school, I don't have time to fight a legal battle, however many classmates have similar issues and stories with management. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

I lived at here for one year and it was a horrible experience. First of all, if you live on the first or second floor you will hear your upstairs neighbor all day long. For the price of rent, the apartments are getting old, outdated, and are not maintained between tenants as they should be. Second, if anything breaks while you live there they will not fix it and they will charge you for it. My fridge leaked so I put in a maintenance request and they found a crack in the bottom of the ice tray that had been there since I moved in. They were going to charge ME almost 300$ for the ice tray so I replaced it myself with the correct tray that I ordered online. Then, when I moved out they still charged me for the ice tray that was fixed. I did not pay it and told them that it was not broken. Well the problem is this place goes through new management about every other month. So during this whole fiasco, I was dealing with a different management every time I talked to them, from when I put in the maintenance request, to when I fixed the ice tray, to when I moved out, to when they charged me after move out. I communicated with them for almost a year after I moved out and the assured me that they were trying to hear back from the management company that handled my move out, and that they would not send a collections agency to get the money since we were in communication. Well now it’s almost 2 years later and the issue has still not been resolved. From my understanding the owner is the reason why the management changes which is a huge nuisance when you live here. If you’re thinking about living here I would steer far away and go to one of the many new developments in Spartanburg like Bon Haven or the Montgomery Building, I have heard much better about them.

Heather was wonderful in giving my fiancé and I a full tour when an apartment complex down the road blew us off after traveling out of town.We were so thankful that she spontaneously showed us around the property. It is a stunning complex with incredible amenities. Truly a work-from-home dream.But more importantly, Heather's attentiveness and service really made us feel welcomed and at home here. We are looking forward to seeing more of Drayton Mills in the future!

We love to walk the walking around the pond in the evening and see the water fountains with the lights reflecting in the pond. Very dog friendly and all of the people I have came across have been very polite.

There are gives and takes in apartment living and we need to be aware of that. I’ve been a resident going on 3 years and there have been some ups and downs. There were some management changes that may not have been the best, but they have been remedied.For the Apartment aspect,Ashley and Heather have done a good job of bringing things back to ‘right’. Maintenance is quick and responsive and folks and neighbors are friendly.There are noises and sometimes you can hear your neighbors, that’s on the neighbors, not the property. Storage is limited and not all rooms have ceiling fans.It’s also beautiful with high ceilings, brick accents and in unit, front load, washer and dryer. My neighbors and now friends are amazing and having Dray, Holliday and Pi Squared here makes life easy when you want to grab dinner but not go to the store.It’s comfortable and as social as you want it to be.These are just my opinions.

I love Drayton, the staff is amazing and the community is too. Drayton has an amazing environment that has so many conveniences and there’s so much space. I can take a walk, grab a coffee, eat lunch with out leaving. The apartments are beautiful. It’s so much different from average “apartments”. Drayton offers so much more.

I’ve lived here 2 weeks and this place is AMAZING. They have amazing facilities on site including pizza, a gym and much more. The ladies in the office are amazing. Lauren handled my move and all through email and catered to me perfectly. They always greet you with a smile. I was hesitant to move in after reading reviews talking about noise. I’ve barely heard a thing besides pups running around. The inside is gorgeous and very unique. Love love love it here.

Our boys love living at Drayton Mills Lofts! They have been enjoying the saltwater pool and love exploring the "low low" basement level of the complex that connects both buildings. The community room is well designed and features a full kitchen-- great for having friends over during the Summer! We have only had one problem with neighbors throwing a 1 AM party, but the courtesy officer took care of it for us rather quickly. Overall, it is an apartment and you will hear your neighbors from time to time. It is just a part of apartment living. Our spacious loft is well loved and we hope to stay here for a few more years until we purchase our dream home! :)

I went here to look at apartments with my sister and I absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful apartment, the windows are gorgeous and my sister loved the exposed brick! The office staff was absolutely amazing, so sweet and made the experience wonderful! I have a home but I love to share positive experiences with others. Drayton mills is a awesome place to live! It is definitely worth the money! Management, maintenance, and the residence are awesome! Lauren, Marisa, and Connie from management have been great to deal with! The restaurants and everything else at the market place are amazing and very convenient! I’m only about 3 minutes from the east side and 5 minutes from down town. I’ve lived in 3 other apartment complexes since I’ve started college and I can say I will be here for a couple more years, no doubt the best complex I’ve lived in since I moved to Spartanburg!

The best thing about Drayton Mills is the community style living! Most of the residents are super friendly and all know each other. I love the way the complex is laid out and enjoy walking the dog around the campus at any time of the day. I see people complaining about the noise, but honestly it hasn’t been that bad for me. It is apartment living so you do hear your neighbors from time to time but it’s not as bad as some of the other apartment complexes around here. I’ve enjoyed me time living here and will be sad to leave when the time comes!

My family and I loved living here for a year. The community is great and the staff was wonderful. We had a few mantience issues that were addressed very quickly and thoroughly. The pool was always very well maintained and we loved the grilling area. Honestly, the entire grounds is always very well maintained.Our favorite part was definitely the community. We made many friends at the social events and around the dog park.We would still be living at Drayton if we hadn't moved away from spartanburg.

My husband and I have lived at Drayton Mills for nearly 2 years now and have loved every minute of it. To have access to a dog park, lots of green space, and a walking trail while still being a short drive from downtown Spartanburg is great. The other amenities (fitness center, pool, and Drayton Marketplace) also make living here really enjoyable. Maintenance is very quick to respond to any issues and management takes resident concerns very seriously. We look forward to re-signing our lease for year 3!

What an awesome place to live! The restaurants, brewery, coffee shop and workout facility are all super convenient. I also love the easy access to walking trails. Drayton Mills Lofts is a great community with wonderful neighbors and staff! Come check it out..you won't be disappointed.
