Very unprofessional, they close at 10 o’clock but will lock the doors WAY before that time. And when you inquire about the time they’re VERY RUDE!!!

The store is very understaffed, their hours vary because they don't have staff to cover all the shifts so sometimes they're closed earlier than what it says in the store and sometimes they're not open at all, boxes are all over the place. I had to pick up a broom today and had to get it out of The box myself, customer service is kind of iffy most the time. They're nice. However, there are times when they totally ignore you or aren't helpful. Again, this might range from the fact that they're understaffed! I'm surprised this location is not closed, however, I'm thankful that it's not! So if you're looking for a quick trip, don't stop in at this Dollar general. However, if you live close by, it's an okay location to stop in to from time to time!

Just left the Dollar general for the last time I will never go into another Dollar general as long as I live I'm getting sick and tired of going in there and they have something priced at one price and you get up to doggone register and it rings up a higher price. I have a little over 10 years experience in management in retail whatever you advertise is what you have to sell it for I don't care what it rings up until you change the price on the shelf you have to sell it for the price you have it marked on the shelf not counting you have to watch where you step when you go into the store to keep them tripping over something store is filthy.

I went to this store 3 weeks ago to return a item I didn't want the lady was rude told me she couldn't give me a refund because I didn't buy it there and its going to mess her inventory up but I had my receipt I thought all dollar general was the same I call corporate office they took her side over mine asking me why you buy stuff if you don't want it people take things back everyday that's not the point so I had to drive to another store to get my refund the lady was just being nasty for no reason so I won't be going to this location no more I go to several Dollar Generals about 3 times a week using my digital coupons I spends my money

Good products. Friendly service, but don't go there if you're using a check! Even there manager don't know how to work and operate the check scanner. I waited almost 25 mins. But forgot my I.D. and they made sure I got it back.

Not enough employees caused a line 7 people long in the checkout area. The store was clean but not well stocked the item I was looking for was sold out and alot of empty shelves all around the store. Management allowed a stall outside the store which was a good thing.

This store is nasty needs to be cleaned all the stock is everywhere always in the floor and I'm carts in Isles they close 3 hours early sometimes or sometimes don't even open at all and when you call the corporate office they said they're doing something about it I got to give credit to the Family Dollar they stay open after hours state bad I used to have good respect for Dollar General now I don't every one of their stores are being this way one of the stores I went into the other day I couldn't even walk down the aisle the lucky I'm giving him a one-star it should be zero Stars

Went here looking for a specific item that I had looked for at a few other stores, this dollar General didn't have it either but there was a very nice older gentalmen that works there named John that helped me look and when he couldn't find it he went above and beyond what I expected of anyone to make sure I got what I was looking for. Absolutely A1 service!!!

I go in there because it is very convenient for me .That being said ,there prices are always tagged wrong . There candy is melted, there chewing gum is so hard it breaks when you open the wrapper .I do not like this store at all .I go anywhere but there if I possibly can , to get decent food, can't, gum . I do not recommend at all. I drive out of my way most of the time to keep from going there

This store has just been remodeled, and the majority of the time it resembles a (Dirty, Nasty, Pig Stky). I'm so disappointed in how soon after the remodel that it got back in that shape again. The cashier's and mgmt are very friendly but the turnover in that store is unbelievable! The clearance isle is just an awful mess! Maybe they all need to be re-trained on how to keep a store clean and presentable. I know being in the retail business is not an easy job but if you keep your store clean and presentable most of the time the customers will try to do the same.

I have yet to walk into a General Dollar store here in Spartanburg SC and it not be clean, organized, and friendly staffed. It don't matter when I go or what time of day I go it's always the same. You would think the discreet managers would do something about this.

I am truly surprised this store has NOT been closed down. This is the filthiest place I ever been to in Spartanburg. Outside and inside smell like urine. Staff looks like they are on something or been drinking. Shelves empty every time you come in. I was embarrassed to bring my family visiting from out of town. I had to go to a different location just bc it smelled so bad and the staff seemed to out of it to assist Us.

Store hours say 8am-10pm. It is now 905am and still not open. This happens very often at this location. You would think they would either change there hours or get better staff to open the store

Majority of the employees have terrible attitudes (not all, but most) like they could be a million places other than where they're at. The store that's closest to me is never stocked, your having to dig around and search for your item. Don't even try and ask a employee if they have it in stock bc you'll just get upset bc one particular lady will tell you if u don't see it then we don't have it!🤬

This store on Ashville hwy is the worst store I've ever been to. It always dirty and the staff are extremely lazy. On some occasions I will find a nice cashier but that is very rare.

Nastiest dollar general I’ve EVER been to! Floors dirty/sticky, stock and carts down every aisle. Everything out of place. Staff talk very loud and are never at the register. I don’t go to this store anymore!!!

This was not a great experience two of the ladies that worked there were very rude and thought that they ran the store but yet the manager was nice and showed respect and I told them I was not going to take someone yelling at me and the manager said I didn't I said no you didn't those two over there did

Bought a magnifying glass separate and then my other stuff and never got the magnifying glass.And I refuse to pay for something twice and the stupid cashier put the receipt in the bag I didn't get it. I won't shop here again.
