Customer service is NOT this stores strong point! The employees are on their phones talking into their earbuds and don't have a care to help out. The manager wouldn't even do anything about the rude and inconsiderate manner in which I was being treated right in front of her. PLEASE visit another Dollar General for a better experience!

No self check out is annoying. Most other DG have it, why not here? Also they randomly close early nearly everyday

The new manager is very friendly & helpful. I can see he is trying his best to get the store into shape. I can now walk the isles without tripping over anything we’re having a clutter of boxes in my way. Good job! I have seen an improvement over the last few months for sure.

Despite the train going by every hour across the street & the occasional fender bender intersection triangle.. I love getting my Starbucks cafe mocha triple shot in the mornings here if I dont feel like going out. The employees are super friendly & great conversationalists, like my childhood next door neighbors I never had... Until now 😌

The only good thing about this store is the girl Kristen that helps me when I go in. The manager, I found out his name is Kenny, is rude, disrespectful and lazy. He cusses at this poor girl and calls her names in front of me and other customers. He left her in the store the other day after I heard her ask him to relieve her at the register long enough to go to the bathroom and he told her figure it out. Managers should not be allowed to treat employees like that!!

Prefer to rate it a zero but I have to give it a rating. I was in there with my two youngest kids in this disgusting, unorganized, cluttered store for about 5 mins trying to not trip over items in the aisle when the cashier decided to come out of nowhere and come into my direct aisle and randomly scan a dish brush. No one was in the store but me and my kids at this time. She stood there for a few minutes while I added some bathroom cleaning items to my basket. I realized she was literally watching me and my children. At that point, not trying to cause a scene in front of my children, I proceeded to head to the register. Then she takes 3-5 mins to come to the register. She left the whole front area of the store unattended to come to the back of the store to see what I was doing. Instead of worrying about what I was doing, she should have been cleaning up those aisles and restocking.

Not sure why but Dollar General is falling off. This isn't the only location that is unorganized, cluttered, & slow. I'd prefer to go elsewhere. It's good for those last minute forgotten items; if they're in stock..

Don't go here. Staff rude, on phones. Ask for help. This guy stocking shelfs was on his phone looked at me and said "Go Away". He was tall black hair and tattoos all over his hands.. I will not be back!!!!

I guess because of the pandemic the stores seem to have no stock of anything. Everything I’ve gone in to get they did not have in stock. I’m not very much of an on line shopper. I like to go and pick up what I need and be confident I have the correct items. Tried calling to ask a question. Never could get anyone on the phone. Drove 30 minutes to the store anyway and they did not have in stock. To many employees standing around talking to one another. Not to impressed with Best Buy lately.

Update: Corporate/Management should be ashamed of the condition of this store!!!. It's still an absolute mess and some days, it closes early and a few times, it never opened at all for that day. Corporate and management needs to do better!!!**** *** *** ****I know what's going on with this DG but for over 2 months, they're either closing early or not open at all. The last time i went in, they locked the door right before 1pm with at least 10 customers still inside. They let us out as we finished paying for our items but it made many of us nervous. Plus, they have huge buggies of boxed products lining the back and front aisles making it difficult to even move through the store. Whatever is happening, i hope they get their business together. I'll be shopping elsewhere.

This specific location has this old white guy with a beard who has no clue of anything that has to do with the register but works at the register will rush you off just to get other ppl checked out and won’t even try to help , double charges for items and do not give you your receipt even when you ask. Has the worse attitude and very unprofessional. Needs to be fired from here asap !

Store has been a mess since it opened. Can't get cart down most aisles because merchandise still sitting in floors to be put out on shelves.. They don't have enough employees to service this store. Usually have to stand in long line to check out. They need at least 2 on registers and 2 stocking shelves.

7/14/22: This location does not stay open for the hours listed! They are supposed to be open until 10pm daily. Today is the 5th time I’ve gone around 7:30pm and the door is locked with no one inside. Either change your hours or stay open like you are supposed to!

By far the dirtiest Dollar General I have ever visited. It's been that way since it opened. Usually the staff is nice but the s l o w check out is inevitable. Not sure why they even have multiple checkouts, mi g ht be better to just remove them so they have more room and then we could actually get between the isles without tripping over stuff. Overall I think DG is awesome . This store just lacks proper management skills.

During my visit today I was looking for someone working the floor to ask if something happened to be in the stock room. I poked my head in the stock room with no answer, but as I turned around a worker who looked a lot like Santa popped off with an attitude, "what were you doing in the stock room?! " Mind you it was open... I calmly tried to explain that I wasn't in there and what j was doing, and his response was "you still had no business in there"... He then asked wht I was looking for, (with an unnecessary attitude) and without letting me explain, showed me a total different item an said what I was looking for wasn't there, I went back to my bf and was telling him this worker had an attitude, and wen I turned around he was IN MY FACE saying he DIDN'T and that he told me TWO TIMES (holding up 2 fingers) that wat I was looking for wasn't there... He never did fight out what I was looking for but swore it wasn't there!! He does NOT belong around customers

Staff are helpful to assist locate items. On my visit had trouble locating loaf of bread. The checkout was swift .Location is often busy and understaffed yet the gentlemen working in the store were attentive to customers.

I always go here and of course so does alot of ppl so half the time they dint have what I need due to high traffic volume. That is something that cant be helped unless Corp starts sending more of what they need and less of the stuff they don't. Clean store which I notic3d is hard to do with dg. Friendly customer service as well.

Typical dollar store. Problem is, you cannot get through the aisles due to boxes, stuff on floor, or just plain sloppiness and disrespect for the merchandise and other customers. Then, at the register, we had to listen to the manager as she complained about other employees calling out for the evening shift. Said that she was closing at 6:00pm, and would still get paid for that night. So she would be getting paid to stay at home. Crappy local and upper management, if you ask me.

This store stays a mess. It never fails....i pick up something to buy. And that item won't ring up what's on the price tag. Several times I get something and there is a whole bunch of the same item in that spot and it will ring up more and they do not honor what is on the tag even if there is 10 or 20 in that spot and they do not apologize for their store being in the shape that it's him or apologize and explain to you why they can't give you that price they just tell you well it's in the wrong spot can't do it just very rude I choose to go to Family Dollar and most of the time if I can which is right up the street

It was so cluttered with unshelved items that it was apt to cause a call. You couldn't find anything. Because instead of doing their jobs the employees were standing around talking. Talking on their phones or outside smoking. I stood there for an unbelievable amount of time before just leaving my items and going home.

The store is a mess! It looks like it's been through a tornado. You can't even walk down the isles. Slow, dirty, and honestly, a lil bit scary. This is the worst DG I've ever seen.

This has become utterly ridiculous. I keep saying I'm going to investigate to see why DG shelves are always empty. Seems like most things I go there for is out.Managers blame it on staff quitting all of the time. As a billion dollar industry, one woukd think they would try to resolve the issue.

Very busy; looked like a tornado came through, boxes and items were in the floor, a Now Hiring sign on the coolers and doors. We found most of what we were looking for; only one car bullet in with other items, but we bought it anyway - 3 outlet for 8$. I'd prolly go again, or travel to New Cut Rd; although last time I was there it looked like a tornado as well.

I wouldn't waist my time, most of the Dollar General stores in Spartanburg County are trashy, you can't get down aisles, because of all stockcarts. Went to my local DG today, most of the shelves were empty.
