I have just had the worst experience ever in the 20 plus years I have been a Costco member. Slowly over the years since Price Club became Costco it has replaced quite a large number of items with Kirkland products but has ALWAYS honored their return policy without question. Until recently! I had purchased 2 sets of windshield wiper blades. One set I used immediately and held on to the second set for future use. During this time I sold the car they fit and obviously forgot about the wiper blades in the garage still in their original packaging. After discovering the product recently I took them into the return department. Although the young lady who helped me was very polite she needed to ask the manager about the return. The so called manager Aaron (who refused to give a last name) refused the return. Also requested a receipt and accused me of possibly buying the item at Walmart and scamming Costco. Turns out that Costco switched vendors from Goodyear to Michelin products. This should not be the customers problem that they can’t get credit for the returned item. Costco corporate may want to address this with their so called manager Aaron(no last name) and possibly send him back through training. Or at least over to the Costco Vision Center so he can read the sign that’s right above the door.

My experience in the tire shop was very disappointing.I brought my truck in for tire replacement on 2/24/2023 at 9:30 AM at the Costco in Spartanburg, SC. When I picked up the vehicle, they said that three of the tire sensors were not working with an “oh well” attitude. I told them that I have never had an issue with any sensor and they worked perfectly fine before they serviced them as part of the tire installation package. Sure enough, about 15 miles after leaving the store a warning light came on and the vehicle could no longer read pressure on three of the tires. Could one go bad in the three hours they had my vehicle? Highly unlikely, but possible. Could 3? That would be impossible.In trying to deal with the shop, they were really snarky and questioned that they were working, sarcastically saying "this is my question to you since you are my expert, another learning moment for me." I would not expect such an unprovoked lack of respect and professionalism from anyone in any sort of leadership capacity.As for the tires, I ended up purchasing a reprogramming tool on Amazon at my expense to reprogram the sensors as the shop should have done in the first place. Surprise, surprise, my supposedly broken sensors now work just fine.I've been a member for 20 years and have had nothing but positive experiences at other Costco stores. If this is what is tolerated by store management, I will take my business elsewhere and am strongly reconsidering my executive membership. There are more choices in the market.

My favorite Costco... abundant parking, clean, carts are always available, short wait time at checkout, friendly employees....better than the Greenville Costco, their parking situation is madness!

I had a terrible experience with one of their cashiers. First off, he seemed obviously stressed at the amount of stuff we were buying. It’s Costco, what do you expect?!Was short with me. Then, when he scanned something he had already scanned I corrected him, “oops you scanned that already!” He frantically looked at his computer and did not respond to me. I made sure to thank him for all his hard work. No response from him. Okay… I thought, then his associate apologized and said how overworked and short staffed they were. “Okay, I’m sorry to hear that.” I said and thought, you can still respond to me, come on! And then responded with, “I understand this must be hard for you guys but customer service is important!”He is obviously (and also shared this) being overworked and underpaid but doesn’t have an ounce of customer service skills nor regulation skills. Made it seem like I was a burden and my fault when he mis-scanned our many items purchased. I don’t know if it’s a him problem or the whole Costco management team at this location. Left me feeling shaken up— not a good way to feel after spending lots of money at an establishment. Oh and when I got home (an hour away) I realized he had in fact scanned two extra items resulting in $30 extra dollars paid. Oh well, but wanted to share in case you would rather drive to the other, better reviewed Costco nearby…

Everything easy to find. If other customers would go, find what they want and get out, there would be smooth traffic flow. However, some believe it is a fellowship hall where they can park in the aisles and have a party with an acquaintance they just ran into and rudely block others from passing. Great place to shop, perfect place to become a rude a--hole.

We stop here went driving on I 26 since it is an easy on and off the interstate. The gasoline prices are usually less expensive than other gasoline stations. The Costco store has lots of quality items we get while there. The people working there are friendly and efficient. There is a snack bar there that has folks order at a kiosk which appears to work well for those using there.

This Costco is the worst one yet! First of all is location— you have to zig zag through the whole mall parking lot to get to it. Very inconvenient! Second-variety of stuff is bare minimal! For such a huge warehouse not to have chicken patties or pickled herring is ridiculous! Waste of gas to drive to Spartanburg Costco and come empty handed! So disappointed. Should of drove to Greenville.Their pharmacy doesn’t accept medicaid insurance. Don’t come here to fill your prescription if you have medicaid. Go to Sam’s club they will treat you as a Human there and will gladly accept medicaid insurance.

Staff members were extremely helpful. They assisted me in replacing my tires. I also like to get Gas from here. It makes my car run faster 🤣

Favorite place to buy bulk items. Plus they carry a lot of things most chain grocery stores don't carry. It is a good idea to check on-line for the daily busy times.

Wish a no star option was possible. My one and only experience with Costco assures I will not come back EVER! Stopped by the bouncer at the front door and told to go in the exit door for customer service counter to get a new membership. Like a salmon swimming upstream and the person checking people out questioned why I was trying to come in the wrong way. Exactly my question, but she waved me through. Nice associate at the membership desk helped me. I requested a membership when he asked if I had been to Costco before. This was my first trip so the associate suggested I get a one-time pass because portion sizes and what the store offered is different from a place like Sam's. Going in I wanted the membership but after that information I thought I should take the offer. Found a few items that I wanted to try and went to checkout. All downhill from there, the associate was a loud and rude woman that started calling for a manager. While shouting customer service needed to stop giving out these passes because they could not be used to shop. A manager heard the comotion, along with everyone else in checkout, came over while this associate was still loudly saying customer service needed to stop. This manager did not apologies to me for the misunderstanding while I stood there mortified, instead stated the rude associate was correct. She then sneered at me and said, I could pay $60 to check out. I walked away without saying a word. The worst experience in a store bar none! Do yourself a favor, go to Sam's they treat you like a customer there.

Fantastic prices on almonds, walnuts, pecans in 2 and 3 pound bags! The best goat cheese I've ever had - also at a great price... and stock up on hamburger, chicken, salmon, Dave's raisin bread, rotisserie chicken, dried fruit like ginger, dates and figs. Try a few of their prepared items - we love the spiced chicken wraps!

Had a tire go flat that I purchased from Costco and had road hazard coverage on. Bring it in to have it replaced and I am told that on a $230 tire the pro rated refund @ half tread life was $60 …. It all felt aimed at getting me to buy another whole set of tires even though they were at half tread life . Then They then tell me that 2 of my tire sensors are dead and need replaced at $60 each . after they finally get my tire installed miraculously all of my tire sensors are “dead” as they called it , even though they all worked when I before and that is how I knew I had a tire going down. All in all this feels like a bad racket . If I had known it would be like this I would have gotten the replacement elsewhere and my tire sensors would still be working like they were when I dropped it off- I saved $60 via the road hazard but now face $252 to fix sensors that worked fine before.*edit - Costco called me back and had me come back to have a second look at my tire sensors , they were all ok and just needed to be reset . I am changing my review to reflect that they cared enough to make it right .

Anytime I come to this location for instacart shopping, the cashiers go out of their way to make sure I know they are annoyed because it is instacart. Saying smart remarks to each other about it. Always very rude. Even got snappy with me because I didn’t load a few items on the conveyor belt. I especially hate the older white man with grey hair and glasses that is sometimes on a register. He’s the worst of them all.

Ok so I go there with my wife and son… when I go to check out my wife is looking at other stuff and her picture is on the Costco credit card.The lady asked if my wife was here with me and I replied yes.Not believing me this lady wasn’t gonna sell to me unless she saw my wife! 10 seconds later my wife and son come walking up.If you are so worried about it maybe yall should screen at the door instead of making your customers out to be liars!This is awkward at check out and feel like your at a prison! Never had this issue in Greenville

Well stocked, clean, good prices, friendly employees, interesting items, QUALITY items, staff eager to help. They even had eggs on sale.Exceptional Hearing Aid center. Great service and prices. Long term parts and care at no extra charge.8-27-23: Still a great place to browse and shop. Still some missing pre-pandemic items, such as canned toast beef.3/7/24: No canned beef or pork in stock. 😟 Otherwise, very well stocked. Clean, bright. So much nicer than "the other" big warehouse chain.

We love Costco, especially their "forever customer satisfaction policy", TV pricing, and gas.We have places in Sumerville, SC and Asheville, NC and this Costco allows us a rest stop, gas-up, a quick snack ($1.50 hot dog and soda) while getting supplies for the house.We've reached a point where we now check our routes whenever we have a long dirve for Costcos on route.

Love Costco. Easy to spend a lot more than you plan for, but that's how they getcha! 😆 You gotta know what you are planning for. Otherwise, the food stuff you buy can go bad before you can eat it all.

I had a disappointing experience at Costco recently. While attempting to make a purchase, a female employee confronted me aggressively, accusing me of not being a club member. Her approach was loud and unprofessional, making the entire situation uncomfortable. I would appreciate better communication and respect from staff members. Such encounters can significantly impact the overall shopping experience negatively.

Got there later than anticipated, but they had employees standing against the back of the store when it was like 10 minutes til closing - like it’s time to go, stop shopping.The store was well stocked and you really have to have time to shop when you go in here. It’s hard to make a quick grocery trip to be in and out. So many options to chose from.

Carnival in the parking lot of Westgate and Costco. This is exactly what you would expect and I don't mean that in a good way. Tiny carnival with ridiculous prices and literally the most rude employees I have ever dealt with consecutively in a row... there is a toothless woman in a ticket booth set directly next to a loud ride who is beyond rude. First of all whoever placed this woman in the booth was accurate in keeping her from the guests and normal people who would have had a difficult time not punching this lady in the face. Also touche to the people who work with her and more than likely intentionally put her in the worst spot for someone hard of hearing next to a loud ride. Carnival is just a carnival. Expensive experience little gain, children still loved it.

COSCO's monthly "deals" become fewer and fewer each month. In the past, I looked forward to the monthly sales brochure arriving in the mail. Now it's thin and contains mostly items that don't need replacement at my house.

Really disappointed, I ordered my pizza by phone, and they told me that pizza would be ready in 15-20 minutes, I arrived 20 minutes after calling, and they didn't even have my pizza set in the oven... I have to wait 20 more minutes to get the pizza, so what's the point to ordered in advance? I asked what happened with my pizza, and a white lady was extremely rude at me, saying, "I only know that is not ready and left me there. I'm really aggravating about the situation.

Best place to go when buying in bulk! We always come here to fill our freezer with their amazing cuts of meat. Love love love all of their interesting snack foods! Also to buy in bulk house supplies like toilet paper and paper towels
