We searched online and found the RV we wanted for sale here. We’re in FL so my husband drove up to get it and also traded in the one we had.From the very first interaction, our salesperson Chris Howard was friendly, HELPFUL, accommodating and well informed. Clearly it can be challenging handling a purchase like this one over the phone, but Chris was organized and patient. He made the experience fantastic and on the day of when my husband arrived they were equally as friendly, organized and customer service focused.Overall a great experience dealing with Chris and the rest of the sales support staff at this Camping World location, but importantly we got a great trade in value for our old toy hauler and an amazing price on our new trailer. Looking forward to many trips in this one and thanks again to everyone at Spartanburg Camping World.Don’t hesitate to check them out. They’ll take care of you. I have no doubt.

What an incredible experience! Tomas Seamon handled our service request with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. From my first conversation with him over the phone, until we shook hands as I was leaving this afternoon, he made me feel like a guest, not a customer.We had lots of things that needed fixing on our camper, and I explained to Tomas that we live in our camper, and would need it back at the end of the day. He immediately told us they would likely need two days to complete the repairs, and offered us a free campsite with water and electric while our repairs were being completed. Within 30 minutes of our first conversation by phone, he provided a very detailed written estimate, and was happy to answer all my questions about it. He was also able to schedule the service promptly and on days that were convenient for us. On the day we arrived Tomas had a campsite reserved for us. He reviewed with me all the service I had requested and let me know all the parts were onhand and ready to install. The service was completed in 2.5 days instead of 2, but I was kept informed about the progress the whole time and the free campsite made the extra night fine.Tomas Seamon of Camping World delivered everything we asked for AND SO MUCH MORE! Thank you for your hospitality and great service, Tomas Seamon and Camping World of Spartanburg! I'll be back!Update: As promised, we're back one year later. Our slideout quit working. We wouldn't bring our camper anywhere else but Camping World in Spartanburg. I was delighted to see Tomas Seamon is still working here. Once again, he took care of us spectacularly. We're back on the road quickly and we still have some change in our pockets.

Got to stop here today with friends who are looking to purchase a camper/rv soon, greeted as soon as we walked in. Everything you could possibly need for your camper or to glamp was inside 👍🏽 we are looking to upgrade to a 5th wheel with possible toy hauler so we were excited to look around. They do have lots and lots of travel trailers to look at here but there were only a few 5th wheels with toy haulers in the used area, still have fun looking and I’m sure they get campers in all the time here, will be back to see what they have again

Camping World in Spartanburg has exceeded our expectations! We have looked for months for the perfect fit for us. Not going to go into what happened to me and my family with another dealership, but I will say Mike Lancaster, Tom Daniel, Lori, Steve and all the staff that helped us get out of a 2023 Heartland Cyclone 4006 unit that was not livable or safe for my family and I. When I first arrived at Camping World a month or so ago to start my search I had the pleasure of meeting Allison. Right from the first introductions she was a friendly face and personality. She sat down and thoroughly went through the list of units I had brought with me that I wanted to see and then took the time to do a search of what she had that might match up with what I was looking for. She showed me every until that I wanted to see as many times as I wanted to see it with the utmost patience. Allison is very personable , pleasant and very willing to help the customer in whatever way she can. Her communication is amazing and is "always" available when needed and will answer any and all questions that you might have. True asset Camping World has in this young lady !!!

Would not recommend buying a camper from them. I bought a camper from them 6 months ago. There were several mistakes made from manufacturing and and sold to me by camping world, which has led to leaking occurring. I have found mold from the leak and the walls showed 60 percent saturation. This is happening right where I sleep. It’s been difficult to try get anything done. A week later still trying to figure out how to make it work so I have somewhere for me and my animals so they can take a look. They keep passing it off to manufacture warranty and not standing by the product they sold. I keep being told there is nothing they can do and I have tried to reach out to the customer support line already.

Ridiculous experience! Horrible manager decided to interrupt the nice person who greeted us, only to reprimand us for not talking to the right person at the desk!!!! Lol! There are 6 other dealers with in 15 minutes of this location and all were better experiences! Do not waste your time here!!!

During a storm on 26 Aug, a tree fell on our 5th wheel while camping. Due to the extensive damage with the tree penetrating the roof and slide, experienced transportation was necessary. I requested the camper be transported to Camping World of Spartanburg for repair. I additionally took the initial insurance assessment to Kevin Ravan, CW Service Dept., to review with me. Kevin described the damage/repair assessment process and explained the process in detail while reassuring me. He was also instrumental in having the camper transported to Spartanburg, and stored out of the weather during the process. After completion of Camping World’s damage/repair assessment, Kevin reviewed with me the obvious necessary repairs, while explaining additional “hidden” could be discovered after beginning the repair process. After CW’s assessment and the insurance company declared the unit a “total loss”, Kevin arranged for and assisted me in removing some personal items before the unit being transported for salvage.After our traumatic experience, my wife initially had no desire to ever camp again. During the weeks following the event, I was looking for a replacement RV since repair was still being considered by the insurance company, and my wife was adamant she couldn’t again sleep in our camper. While searching the internet, I found a new 2023 Keystone Cougar 24RDS, basically the same as our 2021, that was “on clearance “ at Camping World of Spartanburg.With a printed copy of the clearance unit in hand, I went to Camping World of Spartanburg where I met Chris Howard who directed me to the RV. I explained my situation to Chris; my needing to “settle with the insurance company “ before I could close a sale. I was assured CW would honor the offer with a down payment. There was no “bait and switch” or other purchasing issues. I was also given quotes for additional options we were requesting.This became our fourth RV purchase and was also the best experience as well. Chris stayed in contact, following my dealings with my insurance, (which was not through Camping World). He also had provided me with insurance information available through the Good Sam Insurance Agency. With the difficulties I was was experiencing with my current insurance, I called Good Sam Agency for a quote and spoke with Sarah Stevenson, Associate Sales Agent. Sarah is professional, knowledgeable, and patient; providing me with multiple options for consideration. I decided on a policy that provides full replacement coverage to avoid any similar insurance issues like I was experiencing. Again there was no pressure from Sarah for any particular policy or company; but she fully addressed all of my concerns and questions. She also coordinated the activation of the policy to correspond to our purchase date.We did finance part of our purchase through the Camping World of Spartanburg department, with the initial application process with Steve. Steve answered my questions regarding options for interest rates, length of the loan related to payments. The process was primarily an online application and easy to complete.On our purchase date, the RV had been well cleaned; unfortunately I don’t recall the name of the person who did such a great job. Nelson Williams performed the walk through with us. I told Nelson we were familiar with the 24RDS so he only needed to explain those features we were not familiar with. He was very knowledgeable of all aspects of RV’s and provided great details regarding the new features.It is our expectation this purchase will be our last RV, but if something unexpected occurs, we will again return to the great service we received from Camping World of Spartanburg!!
