Today we had the "build a salad" meal which was incredibly delicious and fresh...they even pickle their own beets and grow some of their own veggies! They are always very attentive to the little things like extra dressing or a specially requested side...like steamed broccoli which is not even on the menu! We were treated to a free cookie today...we love the place, food and people!Vegetarian options: I love the build-it-yourself with no limitation on the veggies you choose...they grow their own tomatoes and even pickle their own beets!

The food was on point, and the customer service was on point as well. I will go back, and I highly recommend this place. Plus this was my first time.

I have officially found the best French Dip in Spartanburg. It was perfection. The Aus jou was flavor in a cup and seasoned perfect. I had the fruit as a side, and it was fresh and sweet. My husband had the Birdy wrap. He said it was also delicious, and he would definitely have it again. He had soup as a side and also said it was very good.I'm not sure what took us so long to try Blue Moon, but we will 100% be back.

Edit:Ate the same meal today, except with creamed corn for me and collard greens for him. Both were awesome! The cheesesteak is more like roast beef than pot roast, but it's still tasty. The Heirloom tomato BLT had more bacon and a delicious tomato./end edit.First of all, the staff were super friendly. Taylor took great care of us through ordering and beyond!I had the BLT and it was heaven on sourdough! The orzo Greek salad was a little spicy. My husband had the Cheesesteak, which he said was more like a pot roast sandwich but still yummy. He loved the pimento cheese grits!Kiddo liked the grilled cheese, too. (And the Moon Pie!)

The homemade vegetable beef soup was yummy on a cold breezy day. The cheese quesadilla kids meal with fruit was a big hit! The fruit was full of fresh berries, not just the typical melon and grapes fruit bowl. Friendly, kind helpful staff made it easy for me with my 1 year old grandchild. Considering I’m from out of town the staff made me feel like family!Kid-friendliness: They helped me set up a place for me and my one year old granddaughter that was safe. They have options to look out the window and watch the cars go by which is great entertainment until the delicious food arrives.

I work very close by and walk over for lunch often. The first time, I went I think my order got lost, and I wanted forever for a salad to go. Stuff happens, and the salad was good, so I went back and man, I sure am glad I did. The food is SO good and fresh. The service is on point and the atmosphere is perfect. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out!

Super cool sandwich shop and market. Fresh seasonal ingredients and a gorgeous freezer wall of gourmet Mac n’ cheeses, quiches, soups and prepared foods. You can order your sandwiches and soups as well as salad bowls and they are ready in minutes! Upscale beer abs wine too!

It was just OK. As someone that considers themselves a sandwich expect, this fell way short.Pros: the pickles and homemade ranch were top notch. The blue cheese pimento cheese and lemonade were very good as well.Cons: the sandwich was very puny and looked as though it was for a 3rd grader. Very little pimento cheese and a couple of slices of roast beef. I specifically asked for it not to be toasted or heated (because I was going to eat it later). The box felt hot when they handed it to me because it was toasted. For a $10+ sandwich, you expect a decent amount of meat and this was just underwhelming. I spent $17 (including a tip) and it was definitely not worth it.I will go back to try another sandwich or salad, because I believe in trying restaurants more than once to give them a shot. They had a lot of frozen soups and meals that looked good, so perhaps I’ll give them a try too.

Just opened an office in downtown Spartanburg, and we did a bad thing - we ate at Blue Moon. We haven't had bad food yet, and in a week we've been several times for lunch and breakfast. Everything we've tried has been exceptional. Well-seasoned and fresh, everyone is friendly. Go see for yourself. Don't let the parking in front scare you - there is a huge public parking lot right behind the store.

Excellent food and customer service. Had almost given up on dining options around downtown Spartanburg. Refreshing to see Mrs. Molly in her element. Providing great customer service and care for her customers. Will put this on our regular go to restaurants!!

I enjoyed an Exceptionally delicious daily special “grouper sandwich and side of my choice - collard greens” today for lunch, and knocked out a few Christmas gifts as well. Great meeting spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Until next time….Dietary restrictions: Good healthy options for dairy free/vegan - more than I originally thought! Thanks!Kid-friendliness: Grandkids have plenty of kid friendly choices that are good for them and several toys are provided for play

I enjoyed my first visit to Blue Moon today. First while checking out the menu I was greeted by Wishbone one of the owners and offered great insight into the menu. I enjoyed the Chicken Phillly wrap with the Pimento cheese Grits and it was amazing. While I was eating Molly the other owner come by and spoke to me as well and I was blown away by the friendliness of both of them. I ended up taking home some Lemon cookies and some peanut butter cookies and both of them were amazing and I can't wait to get more of them. I also picked up a chicken pot pie for dinner and I was surprised by how good this pot pie was ans how loaded with chicken and vegetables it was. I'm already looking to take my wife over so that she can find something that she will enjoy.

We enjoyed Blue Moon’s RAINBOW open kitchen and we loved our menu choices. Mine was the chicken salad plate with the original and olive pimiento cheeses. Superb! The staff was enjoyable and the owner was a very personable host. We love the story he told us about the “giddy-up party mix.” You have to ask Wishbone how much mix he used to make at Christmas versus how much he makes EVERY week now!!! We brought a bag home and our daughter loved it!!! Looking forward to visiting the new location the next time we’re in town! And, the mural out back was a student-led project coordinated with a community muralist by a great local Artist (left)! Spartanburg’s best!
