I honestly don't shop in store very much but I have purchased and pre ordered many items online to pick up in store. I've never had any issues. Staff is always nice and helpful. And just a FYI if anyone is interested, the Total Protection Membership is definitely worth it, especially if you have kids that use electronics.

The man named Jacob needs a raise. This guy absolutely knows his stuff. I had a return, told him the date and he found everything before I could pull it up on the app. He’s helped be several times in the past year. I know it’s going to be a pleasant experience when I see him working the counter.Thank you sir !!!

Totally disappointed in this store. Five employees made eye contact with me yes ignore me as if I wasn't there. One employee was chewing tobacco a set an alarm for 7:15nd spitting in a cup that he kept in his pocket. At checkout they tried to automatically charge me for warranty that I did not want after I got zero service. Strongly cannot recommend, move on to the next Best buy to get your service.

The WORST customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My husband and I were all set to buy an 86' television. We waited over 40 minutes for help. I asked 3 times for help. The last guy I asked for help eventually made his way to our area only to help a couple that had been there maybe 10 minutes. Needless to say, we walked out without making that very hefty purchase. The disappointment is enough to keep us from ever going there again.

Went there for a product, smart glasses. None on display. They said there are two sizes. I requested if i can try the size. They said no but can pay for it, to open box, try it and return it. That means i have to pay 800 dollars to see which one is right size. They could have put couple of dummy glasses with sizes for customers to try. Unbelievable strategy.

Remember good customer service? Remember when you couldn't walk into a store without being approached by a sales person? NOT here! We knew what we wanted and which locked cabinet it was in. Took a long time to get someone to actually come unlock it for us...

I purchased a television from Best Buy. A 55" LG CE oled. Paid them cash. $1753.00. I scheduled a delivery 10 days from the delivery date. The delivery was stated via email between 12:30 - 4:30. I chose the day so I could take the day off to receive delivery. I get a call at 3:30 that afternoon that they are not going to be able to deliver and request reschedule. In addition a 5 to seven days for a refund if I cancel the purchase. That folks is the service at Best Buy. I recommend everyone to do business with anyone other than Best Buy. Customer service is absolutely terrible.

I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for years. Have the purchases on the app to prove it, but I can not do it at this location anymore. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen. They are unable to handle simple situations the right way. Just finding a person to help you is sometimes impossible. I have requested to speak to the District manager several times and have been unable to get in contact with him. Maybe that’s why they treat people the way that they do. Love the brick and mortar store, hate that you have to deal with some of the people they allow to work at this location.

I came to Best Buy to get new truck speakers and was helped by Jon C. He surpassed anyone that has ever helped me at any store with his knowledge of the products and how Pearson able he was. He took his time with me, explained everything I was getting and why he believed the speakers he was recommending were best for me and even went as far as teaching me how the speakers work and the power they need, was extremely personable the whole time never getting annoyed and carrying out conversation the whole time he helped me. I’ve been to Best Buy twice in the past few months and will only shop their if Jon C. can help me.

Not the normal customer service they normally have. After finding out product, we had to find someone to help us. She was very helpful and courteous.You can scan the barcode in store or just look online. We needed to see in person the product and had questions.

I walk into the store there is no one at the greeting desk. Look left there is a cashier an 1 other standing there, 4 employees standing in the cell phone center having a chitchat, walk to electronics as I’m looking for a soundbar/ surround and a TV. There was 1 woman in the area until a young man walked up an talked to her then she left the area. I stood there waiting on assistance, walking to different areas of the area waiting, propping up on the tvs lined up on the floor then to the end displays, finally just half laid over on boxes of tvs talking on my phone with my head propped on my hand and then see the woman that left the area 30 minutes before walking back only to look at me standing there propped up and waiting, walked to the desk, picked up her tumbler and something else then continued to walk towards the back without any acknowledgement. After an hour of standing around, propping up an leaning on inventory and absolutely no assistance an 4 people standing in view from the cellar area 1 cashier an still no one at the greeting desk at the front door, I leave without anything I needed!!! Someone needs to bring back Circuit City so the public can get decent customer service. Being basically the only electronics stores around seems as if Best Buy would strive to make there stores the best.. Sadly wal-mart gave me better customer service within 10 minutes! Unfortunately they didn’t have what I was looking for!! Amazon it will be until there is a better electronics store available, if ever… SMH!

I've always liked Best Buy and there are times you can find some really great deals and I've started taking advantage of ordering online and doing the store pick up. Well I have to say Best Buy has perfected store pick up and of the half dozen pick ups I've done here it's as easy as walking right in and up to the counter for pick ups and showing a barcode and then walking out, it's awesome and they are doing it right here, better than alot of places where you do in store pick up and it's a disaster.

You figure you’re looking for a TV where do you go? Hey, let’s go to Best Buy. They probably have the best TVs selection and knowledgeable help well the selection is great but help it’s almost impossible to get help when you go in that place it’s not one specific it’s all best buys, I shouldn’t have to search for 25 minutes to find somebody to help me find a $3000 television or $10 remote control. What good is a big box if there’s nobody to help you

Worst experience, ever those guys lying every single time. I paid for my items that I had a washer and dryer I bought November 24th today's December 14th. Get reschedule it and reschedule it and reschedule it no guarantees when you're gonna get your items, they're not on the back order the warehouse in North Carolina but take Em so long time to get it from North Carolina. I can travel myself within an hour and take it. Newer Again!!! No guarantees with the delivery date. But you gotta pay it when you buy it. Great business for them.

Zero customer service. Tried to buy a fridge today 12.31.23 Arrived at 10am opening time. Went straight to appliances and wouldn't you know, nobody to be found. Walked around a few minutes and had two employees make eye contact and turn and walk away. Guess they weren't finished with their biscuits and coffee. Guess it's Fannings tomorrow for the win.

The whole world doesn't operate on I phone. Limited accessories for Samsung, but you're in luck with a bit more selection for Apple. When you can get staff interaction, they are usually very helpful and knowledgeable.

In this day and age where consumers have multiple options to purchase just about anything, anywhere...customer service matters!I've been a loyal member of Best Buy for at least 10 years, but what I went through yesterday at the Spartanburg SC location, I doubt I will ever shop there again.I purchased a 65" tv on 11/29/23. Mind you, I have set up many flat screens over the years, so I'm quite experienced on how to handle them. After getting it set up and peeling off the protective film, I noticed a discoloration (not sure what the technical term is) going across the top of the screen. Not sure how it would affect the picture I continued with the set-up. At this point, I knew it had to be returned. I work nights, so the next morning I called the corporate line and explained the issue and how I should return it. The told me to bring it back to the store for an exchange. They unloaded my car and brought the TV back behind the geek squad desk. After waiting several minutes, An I.T. guy asked me why it was set up and I explained why. Now..this is where I went from being a customer to a suspect. The General Manager approaches me asking me the same questions, so I explained again. He then says, I'm trying to understand the "story". I said I'm not going you a story..which he implied I'm lying or making something up. He said based on the story I'm telling him and the evidence he sees the best he'll do is a 20% discount on another TV. Why would I spend over $1100 on a $640 tv??!! He said it's that or we can just box it up. During this conversation, his demeanor, body language and words he used made me to defend myself like I was being interrogated for a crime. He said I can reach out to corporate but that's all he will offer me.I get home, called corporate with the TV still in my car. Explained what just happened and they tell me to go back to the store and have the store manager call them bc I was entitled to an exchange.So, back to the store I go. They call the store manager to the front..saying "the guy with the TV is back". So now I have a label. After explaining why I'm back, he says ..well do you have an authorization number or anything. I said, I don't know your policy, I'm just doing what corporate is telling me to do. I call corporate on my phone and they get the manager back up front. Him and corporate are going back and forth making me feel real uncomfortable. He keeps saying he won't override the gm's decision. Corporate asked to speak to the gm, but he refused to come over and talk to them. He tells me to reach out to corporate but then refuses to speak with them??!! He hands the phone back to me and walks away. I will say that the corporate folks were great and sympathetic to my ordeal. But I have never, I mean NEVER, felt so devalued as a customer in my life. At this point I would feel so uncomfortable walking in that store again.The silver lining in all this is corporate told me to bring it to another store, which I did and finally received the exchange without incident.Bottom line..with the current management at the Spartanburg location...if you buy anything from there, pray you don't have an issue because you'll be subject to interrogation and accused of lying.I spend thousands during the holiday season, but I promise you Best Buy...you will get a dime of my money!!

I went looking for a simple antenna amplifier for a TV I'm old school and do not have cable, the person that well I can't say helped, looked at me and said our motto is we sell the latest and greatest, get with the times,,,,needless to say I will not longer need best buy if they can't satisfy a simple need, I get tech is moving but not everyone wants to pay for streaming service and some can't afford it, well you cannot claim to be the Greatest if you discriminate someone's pocketbook or lifestyle, no I will not get with the times, the simple has treated me just fine, I don't have to prove anything, and surely don't get impression from Hollywood or the Kardashians,

Probably would also explain why anyone white shopping there might have had bad customer service. YOUR NOT WANTED.

Chronically understaffed and often out of stock on a lot of stuff. It's clean and stuff, but I'd recommend checking the app or the website to make sure they have what you need before you make the trip.
