Perfect place for Hershey Ice Cream. We started off by sharing a pizza then it was ice cream time. We enjoyed a banana split, sundae and I had a brown buttered bourbon scoop on a cake cone. While there we watched ginormous shakes with multiple toppings being enjoyed by others.

After hearing about this local spot and their Freakshakes, we just had to check it out.These massive milkshakes were so over the top fun and tasty! Come with a big appetite, because they are huge. Oh, they also serve paninis and pizza too!I should add that the service was fast and friendly too.

Me and my boyfriend love coming here. We go here all the time to enjoy the delicious freak shakes! Everyone who works there is super friendly and the owners are very lovely people who always greet people with a smile!

Love this place! Pizza is delicious and they even offer gluten free crust! And of course the ice cream is good!! Can’t ever go wrong with the brownie sundae!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza and icecream!!Kid-friendliness: Lots of little games and stuff for kids! And out door seating for kids with four legs!

Highly recommend this for ice cream/ shakes. Fair priced, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. This is a truly great little place. You would NOT expect to find this in such a small town. We will be back, again and again.

This place is always busy. But the masterpieces they make out of ice cream are amazing! They have 24 flavors of ice cream and i think 24 different toppings. It's fun and a great family atmosphere!

This is THE MOST AWESOME Place!!!!It took us 30 minutes to get there But It's definitely worth the drive!!I had the Turkey, Bacon & Avocado Sandwich. Soooo Good!!!Plus! You see that delicious cappuccino ice in the waffle cone?THAT came as part of the Lunch Combo 😊

IT has just wonderfulness in and all around the place...Small town charm...many varieties of ice cream flavors to select from, gluten free ice creams available, you can get the ice cream by the scoop to put on a waffle cone, sugar cone or by the cup, they have sundae's with a cherry on top... soda's and kid drinks are there to back up your thirst, a hop scotch right on the dining floor near the bar , corn holes boards, tic tac toe boards, Large Horse Shoe ring set, kids book station, just a great family place to be, in and outside dining...they also have New York Style Pizza !!! If you can not find a spot to park, they have additional parking available, just a short walk from the place...it will be marked by their Scoop Parking Signs...WoWee you gotta go give it a try...Hands Down!!! best ice cream place around!!! Place is as neat as a pen, restrooms available & clean, Hours are 7 days a week thru summer 10-9pm ...Didn't go for the pizza, but of course didn't know they had pizza to buy, so that will be our next visit...hope y'all have a most Sweet of a good time here...The SmithClanHere to upDate my last review, we tried the salads, pizza and variety of toasted panini sandwiches, they to are just as delicious as the ice cream is cold...it is New York style and made to be authentic as if you were in NY.NY...but once you look around you realize it is just the small southern town of Six Mile you are having such an experience ... they are open thru the Winter months ...just check there website or Google it: The SCOOP in Six Mile SC to see if they are open for business...we are blessed to have such a wonderful place so close to home...a hop, skip, jump away to pure Yumminess!!! It was super hot so I stopped in for some ice cream. They have loads of flavors and plenty of space to enjoy your ice cream inside. Or you could go outside with the picnic benches. The staff was really friendly. I'll be back.

We stopped in for lunch. It was a nice experience. We played Galaga and ate paninis. Typical sandwich shop with great Ice Cream. They didn’t have avocados so I had to change my order, which is annoying, though the club panini was decent enough. In my opinion the entrees should come with a bigger bag of chips, since they don’t have to prepare it. Parking isn’t an issue any more since they added the additional parking. Very clean restrooms. Kid friendly! Friendly staff. It’s well priced in my opinion, for 3 people meals and ice cream cones for about 12 dollars a person….. All in all not a bad place to stop on your way to, or from, the lake!

Summary- overpriced for barely any food.The ice cream is fantastic, the staff are always wonderful, but the food isn't close to worth ordering anymore. There was barely anything on either sandwich in our order. A tiny amount of thousand island/ mustard/ whatever. Hardly any meat on either sandwich as well. Considering you're paying about 10$ or more on just a panini (bagged chips & canned drinks are plenty extra) what you get for that is sad.Save yourself the frustration and stick to the ice cream. Pic is a ham and cheese that had so little mustard on it I had to add more at home. The amount of ham on this laughable. The hair I found in between the meat and bread didn't help but at least the cook looked clean enough.Changed to 1 star for the response. The owner is never there if i wanted to "make it right" how would i even go about doing that? Theres nothing that would make me want to try this food again. Good ice cream though, thanks Hershey's!

Updated review! My first review was 4 stars because of the consistency of the milkshake. I've put it down to 1 star because of the even further decline in quality, price and time.We got 2 freakshakes. Our total was $30(+). They were very visually appealing, but we would not get one again.They took 20+ minutes to make. The 1/3 top of our cups were solid cool whip. The lower 2/3 was almost luke warm, runny flavored milk. Not like milkshakes at all. The marhsmallaw on the smores was just barely toasted on the outside. The chocolate bar on it was cold. The marshmallow was cold. $30 for two milkshakes, over 20 minute wait time with no other customers waiting for orders, and you expect perfection.----------------------------------------------------------The freakshakes are amazing! I wish they were a bit thicker (more like a milkshake), but the flavors are delicious. Super creative names and combinations.

Edit: I was told nothing up front as I never asked about what the milkshake looked like. Why would I? The picture was different, yes, but was still nothing like the actual milkshake my daughter received. Nor did it look like the multitude of Freak shake's you have pictured on your Facebook page. Yes, I was offered a cupcake AFTER I brought up the fact that it was left off the shake. YES, I refused the cupcake and that does not asuage the fact that it was left off and the Freak Shake I ordered was slung together. Funnily enough, you didnt mention that I ordered two and that the one my son received was in much better shape, cupcake and all. You also didnt mention that a third shake I ordered was completely forgotten about and that I had to remind the associate. I also had to remind the associate that I had not paid yet. I could have very well walked out with three milkshakes and not paid. But I'm not out to get something for free. Just maybe an apology that it seems I will not be getting.So very disappointed in how much things have changed in just 3 years.We brought our daughter here for her birthday in 2019 and she got the Unicorn Freak Shake. It had a cupcake, rock candy, cake pop, candy stick, cotton candy, lots of sprinkles, and was just perfect. My daughter loved it. So, when we mentioned bringing her back again, she was absolutely thrilled.What a huge disappointment. We got her the same Unicorn Freak Milkshake and it was absolutely nothing like the shake we got before as you can see in the pictures. No cupcake, no rock candy, no candy stick, no cake pop, not even a cupcake. The cotton candy was just shoved in the top and the icing was just smeared on the mug. Nothing like the photo and definitely not worth the $15, but my daughter's disappointment was the worse.

This place has got to be one of the friendliest places we've been to! They have a great selection of flavors. The young lady waiting on us offered to let us taste any flavor that we thought we might like. The prices were very reasonable. The place was very clean. And the serving sizes were huge compared to what we are used to.And the smiles alone were worth the stop!(We actually turned around on our way home due to the hub's ice cream craving today and we're SO happy we did!)

It was our third visit!! First time getting food other than ice cream 🍦. Man the food was delicious . I got tomato soup. The family got cheese sticks and cheese bread 🍞. They were thrilled. Nobody had a bad thing to say!! We played a family game of old school arcade.. and Mr. Potato head! Definitely stop in. The ladies were magnificent!!

The Scoop is a really neat destination ice cream shop. Six Mile (the town) is quaint and the ice cream shop is right on Main St across from City Hall. There isn’t much else to do around the ice cream shop but it’s a great place to bring the family. They have outdoor seating, outdoor games (cornhole, hula hoops, etc) and indoor activities too (tic-tax-toe, books, etc). You can order ice cream at the counter or sit down and get table service (food).

Such a great place in six mile!!! We have been several times for the ice cream and it’s never disappointed… staff has always been great… tonight we decided to try the pizza. It’s was fantastic, beats most pizza joints around… if you’re in the area I highly recommend you stop in and enjoy the scoop… it’s a scoop above any of the shops around!!! 😉

Food here is good, but the reason everyone comes is the ice cream. They have a ton of different options all the way from a single scoop cone, so a 6 scoop bowl, to a monster milkshake, so lately a 16 scoop giant!

The best place to take your grand’s, for wonderful ice cream, ( suppose to be one scoop. We all, adults and grands are like, wow the biggest one scoop ever). The beautiful huge magnolia tree to climb. Grands, get to meet other grandparents with their grands. Staff are just precious!
