My dad took his dog there this past week and they ended up cutting his private areas so bad that he ended up in the vet. I've called them about 10x to let them know and they don't answer their phones. We will never bring him back there again. That's our first and last time! Unacceptable.

Since we just moved here I had no idea where to get my puppies groomed. We love them like they are our children so making sure they are in trusting, kind, dog loving care when they aren’t with us is our priority. I sought guidance from Nextdoor and Canine Clipper was at the top of this list of recommendations and reviews: 1)They got me in the day I called. 2)We’re so helpful and sweet. 3)Totally cost effective. 4)And best of all- our furry angels look dashing and we’re so happy when we came to get them! Best haircut they have EVER had! Highly recommend Canine Clipper in Simpsonville. The entire team is amazing!

On my first grooming they changed the style of my goldendoodle’s face (shaved his snout) without asking. On my second grooming I specifically told them that I did not like that and to let it grow out. But, they shaved his snout again. They also trimmed his ear and tail with straight lines, which just looks bad.

I took Braxton here for his first groom and nail trim. He's a rescue we have had for 6 years and was abused. We finally were able to get him to feel comfortable enough to go and the women here were a huge help with that. They made him feel calm and knew he was scared. They did a wonderful job and now when he sees them he gets excited and runs to the door. Stephanie the owner has been doing this for a long time and is extremely knowledgeable. We love it here and if will book our monthly appointment for the next 5 years if we can. 🐕 10 out of 10 recommend!

Bently, our 8 yr. old Aussi-doodle, has been going to Canine Clipper every 6 - 8 weeks since 2014. Shamefully, this review is long overdue.Our family moved to the area in 2010. Since then, I had tried innumerable groomers in the Greenville & Simpsonville area. After 3 1/2 years I made the huge mistake of forcing my very good and trained boy to go back to a groomer in Simpsonville, because they were cheaper than most. After he was returned, shaking and cut to pieces, I decided not to worry as much about the grooming budget and do a lot more research for reviews and recommendations.I am so humbly thankful that Bently’s very next grooming, after his horrible experience, was at Canine Clipper. I remember picking him up, completely blown away. For the very first time he was groomed exactly the way I wanted. (Puppy cut, nails, ears, sanitary cut, everything!) When I got home, I didn’t have to fix or do anything that was neglected.Since then, my father, loving Bently’s cut so much, has taken his golden doodle, Bree, to Canine Clippers several times. They live in Maryland!My daughter takes her Havanese, Ava, there too. We didn’t realize puppies had to be groomer trained when they are very young. So Canine Clippers had to work with Ava at first. After only two visits, Ava, was completely adjusted and comfortable with getting groomed.Today, Bently had his “go get pretty” day. He was so excited. He ran to the door and ran to Jackie. Then, while I was still there, and with no prompting, Bently walked over and jumped right up on the table! As usual, he came home perfectly groomed. Jackie mentioned she saw some fleas on him and let me know they treated him for it. No extra charge, just wanted me to know because she knew it wasn’t the norm for him.I should also mention that in the 4 years Bently has been going to Canine Clippers, they have been consistent, they have always taken note of every request, and they have always called me as soon as Bently was done. Bently, Ava, and Bree are always well cared for. Even though Jackie usually works on Bently, he has had a substitute every so often. Therefore, I can also confidently say that all of the groomers at Canine Clippers are excellent, professional and caring. You won’t go wrong taking your babies there. Canine Clippers are the absolute best groomers and the only ones we will ever use.

Do not take your dog here if he is a large breed. The staff was not compassionate towards my dog when he was obviously scared of the nail trim. They put a muzzle on him after clipping a few nails because he started to growl. After I left I noticed blood stains in my car because they cut his nails too short which likely caused the aggression. Stay away from this place.

I have one very chill, older Shih Tzu, and one very high strung, toddler Miniature Schnauzer. We have used Canine Clipper for years, and they have always been great with both our dogs. Even though I know our younger dog is a handful, she always comes home looking amazing - I really do appreciate what they do because I know they go the extra mile no matter the challenge. :) Book in advance and mark your calendars!! These grooming experts are often booked for good reason.

We took our 8 week old schnauzer puppy Teddy here for his first haircut, I could not be more pleased. Stephanie and her staff were very friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. They even gave me puppy training tips, which I have already put to use and work wonderfully. I have already booked my next appointment and will be using Canine Clipper for all my grooming needs. Thanks Stephanie and Canine Clipper, Teddy looks so handsome. (Although he peed in his travel crate on the way home.) 🤦‍♂️

Canine Clipper decided to pre-book my Shih Tzu on a 6 month grooming schedule. My family booked a vacation on one of the pre-assigned appointments and I let the groomer know 5 weeks ahead we'd have to reschedule and they said nothing was available to reschedule for months and we'd just have to skip that appointment (sorry, that doesn't work with a Shih Tzu - can't go that long in between hair cuts). Anyways, I communicated via text about the issue and now they refuse to provide any service unless we pay a $50 no show fee PLUS a $50 pre booking charge for future services. Also, no communication or reminders about upcoming appointments. Very bad way to do business and we'll gladly stick with Earthwise.

First time e for us. Our two Malshi dogs look really nice. Has a good atmosphere...we could tell that the groomers like their jobs...they treat the dogs with care. We will be back. THANKS. I was absolutely thrilled with the service I received. My fur baby was happy and looked good with his fresh cut ✂️. I had been hesitant to take him to be groomed after a bad experience with being groomed but was finding it hard to groom him myself. So I finally gave in. Everyone was really nice. Moved to Simpsonville a few months ago and needed to find a new groomer. This place was close to my new place so decided to try them. I'm glad I did! They're very reasonably priced and Thor absolutely loves going there! Been taking him once a month since we moved here!

Called and got my appointment the next day to have my Lab/great Pyrenees nails and dew claws to be clipped. I just waited in the lobby. Great job and very fast. I will return and they were all very nice and professional.

I had a great experience with Canine Clippers. I moved from Washington DC and these guys are just as good if not better! I had my two small dogs groomed Coco and Sparkie, they looked great! I can't say enough good things about these guys! I brought a rescue to them that was experiencing irritation on her skin from being left outside all the time. I live out of town and each time I come to the Greenville area I board my dog here. The staff is very friendly and caring, and their prices are the best around. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my fur baby here. He has some special needs that they always accommodate for as well. He is totally spoiled every time he goes there, and I would highly recommend Canine Clipper to everyone.

Have been taking our two standard poodles to Canine Clipper for years. Both of our dogs have been treated well, and we are always informed of any signs of things to be aware of, from the ears having excess discharge, to any little bumps or issues with their skin. Stephanie and crew are excellent at what they do. Would and do recommend them to anyone needing grooming and or boarding.

Besides our vet office, this is the only place we take our 5 dogs to get their nails clipped. They always get us in same day, they are so good with our dogs, and have very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

The best part about good customer service is never promising anything you can't follow through with. After making our next appt for a bath, I added that our long haired dog needed a hair cut. The lady on the phone said that he didn't do very well last time they tried to cut him, but added that she could try it again to see how he handled it. I value her honesty more than a promise to do it when she knew it may not work out! Our furbaby always comes back smelling good and looking so handsome! Of course, we know the value of what they do and how hard their job truly is! It's a shame that people have given bad reviews!
