Small campground in the middle of nowhere! Perfect for a little relaxing getaway! Has lots of area to fish in the river! Also has a pool and store with bait! Will mark this on our list of places to visit again!

We go back every year and we live only 20 minutes away!Sure it's a little rough around the edges and no wifi but it's camping! That's why they call it roughing it! The pool is awesome! $5 for swimming is a good deal when you consider the cost of pool upkeep. Great place to drop in the kayaks for a private river trip with excellent views.Dog-friendliness: It's a perfect little neighborhood for walking the dog and saying hi to the friendly neighbors.

If you are looking for camping and fishing this is a good spot. We like to fish for Catfish and striped bass. The pool is nice and clean. They have a little store as well in case you forgot something with a microwave if needed.Restrooms: Clean, however it could benefit from being updated

My new favorite place!! Friendly and informative staff, clean store that has everything you may need, good price for fishing and camping, amenities such as bathrooms and showers, swimming pool, and all the fishing you want. Beautiful place. Can't wait to camp again!

Been coming here for weeks now. Love it. Super friendly staff, clean facilities, and a great place to bank fish! It's a little rural location, but lots of locals and visitors come here. Often I'm the only one fishing. Don't always catch anything (I'm only after catfish), but I've seen some monster catfish, stripers, and shell crackers by others. Really should follow their Facebook. Plus, every month the have a free fishing competition with no entry fee. I'm usually there twice a week.

You get a lot of bang for your buck. Great fishing, well equipped store and courteous staff that aim to please. Riverside camping for real hardworking people. If you want a cruise ship level experience, take a cruise, if you want to camp, fish and take a dip in a clean pool, come here.

I have SO MANY childhood memories here. I learned to swim in the pool, playing, fishing. My aunts, uncles, cousins and my parents spent MANY summers here. I can't believe it's still open. I am 56, I can't wait to come visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed taking my son out for a guided fishing tour there. We didn't catch much but nobody was that day, and we still caught more than most and had a great time regardless making memories together!

We camped for a long weekend!! Enjoyed to pool for $10 each for 3 day pass. Camping site was clean and nicely shaded...People in the area are nice and friendly. We had a great time. Only down side was the weather. Bad clouds pop up really quickly and kinda SCARY while tent camping. But despite that we had a wonderful time and would love to come back some time soon!!

We loved it! Quiet, basic RV facilities without a lot of frills. Our site was level grass under some large trees which provided great shade. We went to sleep with the serenade of bullfrogs and woke up to the music of several different birds and cows mooing in the distance. It’s in a rather remote location so no traffic noise, airplanes or trains and the full time residents were all very quiet. The dump station is not marked and was a bit of a challenge but that’s small potatoes.

We are full-time RVs and this is one of the grassiest sites beside the river we have ever had. We are enjoying a very clean and private spot. One thing other people may not like is that more than 59% of the sites are full time residents, this gives it a trailer park feel. All in all very nice place. And the last thing, the camp host are very nice.

Great stop on my way from Florida to River Camp in Piney Creek, NC , and back south in late fall. Rates are very reasonable, especially with Passport America. When you check in at the convenience store, they have all the little things an RV'er might need. If you fish, they have bank fishing and boat ramp into the Saluda River. Fishing accessories and license are available too.

Will not be back. Bathrooms were to hot.pool cost $5 each person per day to swim in... No thank you. We paid to stay the pool should have been included. Only one outlet on the post. It was just a mess. My kids were very upset. Until We decided to leave and go to greenwood state park. We travel a lot and had planned to stay all week but when the pool was extra we vetoed that. I'll add that the people were nice but other then that it was just not good at all.

The young lady at the office was very nice and accomodating. The site originally assigned adjacent to the stream/river was beautiful, but not level or appropriate for a 43' RV motorhome. We selected another site adjacent to the woods, with 50 amp service and water, but no sewage. The grounds did have a dump available and easily accessible. The people we met were nice, but being a "resort" is by definition only. This is a mobile home park with some temporary rv spots. Again, nice folks, but ... we won't be back.

I am truck driver and had down time in Newberry. Called this place and they were kind enough to let me come in with my tractor.I had an amazing time, staff were friendly and helpful and everyone around campground were friendly too, like a big family.I highly recommend the place.Frederico

Quoted rates over the telephone and then changed them at time of departure. Bathrooms, showers, and toilets were very nasty with a drop cord ran across the top of the mirror to generate power. After paying ridiculous amount tocamp...they wanted to charge $5 to swim. There is no Wi-Fi. Amenities not as expected. Would not recommend. Will not be back.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at Saluda. The woman who ran the place was very nice and so were the rest of the people we met. The shower facilities were old but worked just fine. Rates were great.

! My husband and I were on our way home from another camping trip when we found our selves with no dump station in site or for miles of our ride home so naturally we went on line and found Saida River Resort. The website for dump stations stated persons staying on premises dump free but those not staying dump for charge. We arrived at the Resort, at first we thought this is a very friendly, place everyone spoke and the lady in the DINER/office was exceptionally nice. My husband and I even were talking of coming back to stay a weekend because we were so impressed with the hospitality. The lady on the diner told us exactly were to find the dump station and stated there was no charge..WOW HOW GREAT IS THAT? We get to the dump station and start set up and an older gentleman shows up on a golf cart stating we can't dump, ??!! he says "it's only for guest at the resort, I tell him that we are willing and have been willing to pay., "We just don't let people who don't stay her dump here" ....This older gentleman had a smart tone.and very unprofessional and then charged $30 for dumping!!!! Really? You just lost a lot of potential business! WE HAVE THE LEAST 6 CAMPERS THAT GO WITH US CAMPING and 6 IS On the LOW SIDE...THANK YOU, BUT NO THANK YOU to whom I am assuming is the manager or owner(Mr. older Gentleman).

Nice place to unwind and spend some time with friends. My only suggestions would be some better grounds keeping and require some of the residents to clean up their sites. Looks a little creepy in some areas.

Not sure why it's called a resort...it's a mhp. That being said, the boat ramp is nice and the canal leading to the river is nice and calm. Beautiful water and not very crowded.
