The only problem I have is the prices on the shelf are NOT what it is when you get the the register. (I’m not talking about sale products.) Regular products. You have to go in and over estimate how much things are so you are not embarrassed at the register when you have to say, “take this off, I don’t have enough “. Staff is usually friendly. Store is always clean and not cluttered and you can find what you are looking for. I do enjoy my visits.

So I didnt think our little Sharon DG was too much to talk about..until today. I visited 2 other DGs in a bigger town in NC, and oh my gosh, if i didnt find myself wishing i was my home's store. It looks fantastic since the remodel, its much cleaner, more organized, and offers more day to day grocery items. I feel like i dont have to go to the dreaded walmart anymore. This place is great!

I'm a previous employee at this store. This store is always busy. Because of location, we are dubbed the Sharon Mall or the Sharon Walmart! We love all of our customers! We also try to help each and every customer save a $1 or $5 when possible! Yes we allow our customers to split their transactions on Saturdays as long as they have the $5 off coupons to cover. And we believe this increases our customer satisfaction and sales. There is nothing in our policy that says we are doing anything wrong by doing this! A happy customer is a returning customer!!! Come out and check out the excellent customer service and some of the most helpful, compassionate and friendly employees in York county! 😍

During the Easter holidays I could not find plastic Easter eggs at 2 Dollar Gen.! I could not believe it. Anyway, me and my daughter had to go to Hickory Grove. On our way back, my daughter said, “let’s check out the one in Sharon, since it was on the way back out!! Low and behold there were lots of Easter decor, just what we were looking for. That is my go to Dollar General from now on👏🏽😃

I like going to DG in Sharon, SC, they are always nice and it's not too awfully crowded with shoppers. So I can get in and out quickly. For the little things I need I know that I can get without having to go to Walmart. I'm very glad it's there.

The new dollar general has lots of stuff for the house. I love the produce section available. There's not much space between the aisles but I guess that's okay.

The time I spent in the store was beyond wasteful and the woman who was the manager working the front at the time wasn't helpful. She spent most of her time talking to her favorite customer or just friends in general not paying any attention to paying ones. Before I walked in she was smoking in front of the store talking to someone. I had spent atleasat ten minutes in there then headed to the front to checkout. She had just walked in at that time still talking to this person. She acted rude like I took her candy or aometsome. The way she talked to her employee was rude as well. She was upset that she had to check people waiting in line and oh no I wasn't the only person in line waiting. This Stephanie ... something whoever she was acts like she can say and do whatever she'd like. It's people like this that makes shoppers days much worse. This places needs new supervision.

Manager was miserable, bragged how she was turning the store around. Only I saw a lot of empty shelves. When I asked about a certain product. I was told I have it, it's in the back room. I will try to get it out in about 2 or 3 weeks. That is terrible customer service.

1st shelves are usually empty and grocery birds are sitting around all over store, full of product. Frozen section disaster.Store gets dirtier by the week,parking lot nasty.My last recent visit, I’m in line 6th. I finally make it to next in line. cashier takes out a can of Carmex from her jacket ,lathers up her lips with her fingers, licks her lips and then proceeds to go for another coating..Customer she was waiting on had all edible products.I had 2 edible items, set them on the counter and walked out the door.....Won’t be back...

Clerks always friendly and helpful. Beats driving to town for things we need or forgot. Store sometimes gets messy BUT I understand that is a high traffic area.

12/1/2019 Today the customer service lacked, no willingness to try and help with a digital coupon issue. The store is not organized, items stay out of stock, when it is stock time, the carts are placed out in store, this could pose a threat in the event of an emergency for folks to not be able to get out. Creates difficulty moving thru store to shop. The registers are in need of replacement or something, because it rings up items incorrectly frequently. Things have gone down hill since Pam & Tracey left as mgmt.

I was disappointed when a lady two people ahead of me was allowed to use her $5.00 off coupon three times in a row by being rung up three separate times......this was at the Sharon SC location. Of course, this took quite a bit of time and there were two very long lines. I didn't know the cashiers present, obviously new and not trained properly.
