Came for a weekend trip and stumbled into this gem. 1000’s of records of every genre. Walked in for a couple and walked out with probably a hundred. Tucked away in a little shopping center, seemingly normal from the outside, inside is electric, warm and with a truly remarkable feel. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and really made us feel welcome.

Growing up in the 90s, I pretty much lived out of record and music stores. I was recently gifted a new record player (yes, people, they still make those), and I told my boyfriend about this place. He surprised me on a date by taking me to Yesterdaze. On top of a wide selection (seriously, name an artist and he's probably got it) store owner was super knowledgeable about the record, he knew exactly where an album was and would hand it to you. Prices were good, records in great condition, some were more due to sealed, signed, and/or rare/special editions. I will be back.

Today, I want to share my thoughts about an exceptionally wonderful record store I had the pleasure of visiting - Yesterdaze. If you're a music lover and happen to be in Seneca, South Carolina, this place is an absolute must-visit!The first thing that struck me about Yesterdaze was the staff - they are knowledgeable, approachable, and very friendly. Their passion for music and vinyl recordings was apparent in the way they interacted with customers, and they were happy to answer any questions that I had. I especially appreciated their willingness to share information about new releases and upcoming events within the local music scene.The store itself has a wide range of vinyl records and other music merchandise, with a particular emphasis on classic rock, blues, and jazz. The collection was impressive, and it was clear that the staff take great care in curating it. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the records was excellent.Aside from the impressive collection of vinyls, the store had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which I'm sure contributed to the excellent experience. The staff's personable and gregarious attitude made the atmosphere even more pleasant. As soon as I walked in, they made me feel comfortable and at home, and this quality of theirs is something that I think sets Yesterdaze apart from other record stores.In conclusion, Yesterdaze is a phenomenal record store that I would highly recommend to any music aficionado. From its knowledgeable staff to its impressive collection of vinyl recordings and warm atmosphere, it is truly a gem within Seneca's music scene. If you want to experience real music culture and appreciate high-quality vinyl recordings, this is definitely a place you don't want to miss.

I love everything about this place, from all the vinyl records, to the cool vintage clothing to the wonderful, nostalgic smell of incense that hits you when you walk in the door. The owner is friendly and helpful, as is the woman who runs the clothing side of the store.I will keep coming back here to supplement my picky and eclectic wardrobe.

Record store that's so much more, you'd have a field day if you like classic music, novelty items of all sorts of varieties, and if there is any once of hippie in your heart and soul. Go give Mike a chance to take you on an adventure that even Woodstock would be jealous of!

Very cool and knowledgeable owner. The dog is adorable. LOTS of old vinyl and a wide range of genres. Definitely worth it if you're looking for something particular.The vintage clothing store was boutique style and has a nice selection of bridesmaid's or prom dresses. Also a small section of vintage/ retro men's fashions. Some classic T's as well.

Hands down the best music and vinyl store in the Milky Way. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They make you feel at home instantly. They bring in local artists for live shows. It's our favorite place to buy our vinyls and expand our collection .

Great store with everything hippy! The record selection is a absolutely amazing and the owner can suggest great finds for you! I wish they had more clothes, as I would shop here more often. I've heard they have live music from time to time, which is cool. Owner is super friendly!

Mike West, the owner of this store, ordered my records on 2/16. In order to de-risk the transaction for him, I offered him free shipping and COD. He received the records on 2/21 at 11:33 am. He admitted to me on 2/22 that he received the records and pretended in the conversation that he did not know what COD means. I asked him for the payment and he said he would send it that day. I called him every 2 days between 2/25 and 3/3 several times each day and I also messaged him on FB. When I realized that he had no intention of taking my calls or returning my messages, I called the cops to help me to find out if he was still in business. I did not tell the cops he had the records for 3 weeks. I told them he stopped taking my calls after he ordered my goods with free shipping and COD and as soon as he received the items he stopped taking my calls instead of paying for them. It was his decision to stop taking my calls after he has my property so the cops coming there when he has customers is on him. He having to pay the same amount to send them back is on him as that was his decision. He ordered the items . I paid the shipping in advance . If he return the items then the shipping charge should be his responsibility. He is pretending as if he does not understand that which confirms that he is a thief. He has also blocked me on FB. I am still waiting for him to send me the $5:08 I paid for the shipping to send the items he ordered.

Great record store and even greater record store owner. I’ve known Mike for a long time and consider him a friend. He is a prime example of taking an interest or passion and making it your life’s work and it shows in Yesterdaze records. Walk through the door and step back a few decades; you won’t regret it. Yesterdaze is an awesome shop! A throwback to a 1970's/80's record store. But they also carry modern vinyl pressings as well as CDs. They also carry a lot of "hippie" type gifts in the adjacent store. Vintage stereo equipment and classic records. With the most awesome owner/operator to match! My favorite music store in the upstate of SC!!! All types of music lovers will find something there for them!

With all the memorabilia in every nook and cranny, it is more part rock museum than just a place to buy and sell records. Records, CDs, Bootlegs, concert lithographs, movies, stacks of old Rolling Stone magazines- there are definitely musical gems to uncover! Great place to spend some time, and props to the owner for his dedication.

Its hard to find places like this these days. Its very vintage, but still with the times. Some good bands also play there stage from time to time. All in all its one of my favorite places in seneca!
