I love this place! A good friend took me there, and I have been coming back ever since. If you can't find something to eat from this menu, then you should eat at home. Prices are reasonable! It's the best "hole in the wall" that you will ever eat at. They have an adjoining ice cream shoppe as well! Get a dessert on your way out. ☺️Things I have personally eaten: The Big Cheesy Texan, Quesadilla appetizer, Sour Cream & Chive Fries, Chicken Salad Plate with Watermelon. I even bought some to take home and eat later. Staff is nice and acknowledges you when ypu walk in the door. Seneca, SC is a great place to visit!Vegetarian options: Plenty of items for vegetarian diet (see menu pictures).Kid-friendliness: Prices: $2.49-$6.98Options (all served with fries): cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, corn dog, cheeseburger, peanut butter & jelly, fish & chips.

Stopped here to get some lunch on the way back home from Westminster and it was delicious. I had a turkey, Swiss, cranberry croissant with a side salad. My husband had a BLT (fried green tomato) with sour cream and chive fries. I tried them and they were great, so different. The menu has such a variety of selections.Headed through the open doorway to the joined ice cream to check it out. Decided I didn’t want ice cream but when I saw the bonbons they were just right for a little taste of something sweet. Whipped peanut butter inside, sooo good!!The prices were very good, comfortable friendly atmosphere. As someone else said the building is older but that’s often where some of the best food is found. Already talked about coming back when we can bring our daughter with us. Would love to try the homemade soup this fall or winter 😋

I was excited to try this place because I had heard good things. The best thing I had were the sour cream and chive French fries. I had the French dip and my son had a sub. The sandwich was not very flavorful and neither of us ate our entire sandwich. The building is really old with stained tiles uncomfortable booths and the ladies bathroom door didn't lock.

Over the years, this has been a go to in our area. I remember it was one of my mom's favorites when we were younger, and we'd frequent the restaurant for special occasions. In 2011, my whole shift came to an all you can eat crab event. So many good memories over the years. It's still a good place to eat, but the quality is slipping a bit. The building looks run down and beat up as well. Fudge and ice cream are excellent. My favorite food there is an appetizer dish of fries - chive coated fries with cheese, bacon, grilled onion, mushroom, optional chili and jalapeno, with a side of ranch. I'd really like to see the building cleaned up, especially as the downtown area and that block are getting overhauled. I'd hate to lose this gem in Seneca.

My dad ask for this to be taking off the bill. Waitress was very rude tried to make us pay for it anyway had to call the owner. My dad eats there all the time and his sald never has been bad

A true gem of small town America.Enormous menu, friendly staff, all with the home town feel.The building is older, a little run down, but that's where the best food is to be found. They even have a ice cream shop at the register!So far (2nd visit today) I have had the ribeye sandwich and Grecian beef gyro. Both have exceeded expectations amazingly. Also had the cheese fries, and those are pure heaven.If you're ever in downtown Seneca, you won't be disappointed by giving this place a try.

Ye Olde Sandwich Shoppe's ice cream is great. There is always the same young lady serving customers and she is so nice! Cozy little shop. I have yet to experience their food but their ice cream is delightful.

Honestly I'm just really disappointed with the visit this time. Normally I would give it at least a 4 star review but this time kinda ruined it. I used to come here to meet friends and always had a good experience. Today the food is bland, the chicken is burned and there was a black plastic thing in my chili cheese fries. Just overall service was lacking and could be a lot better.

The Reuben was really good, the prices were great, the food I had was fresh, and we got ice-cream on the other side after eating. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch, food was quick, service was alright. More booths would be nice but there are tables in the middle too. I would like to see the silverware be better cleaned, and it did feel like we were catching the sever every time she walked fast by us, but it may have been busy for her normal, there weren't too many people there though. Overall I'd try a couple of other things, and get the Reuben again. The place could use updating and a good wipe down.

I love this place! I try to eat here 2, sometimes 3 times a week. They have such a diverse menu, something for everyone. Amanda and Kim are so nice and friendly. Ask what is on the daily specials, you will be very pleased. Their homemade soups are my favorite. Soup and a grilled cheese is my happy food. And, the prices are very affordable.
