The current situation that Walgreens finds itself in is no surprise , This review is primarily about the female pharmacist tech , Courtney , the actual pharmacist is always courteous and professional . The female Pharmacist PA , has a misconception concerning how a pharmacy works . Prescriptions are very seldom filled promptly and there is always a “ problem with insurance” that delays the filling of the prescription. A simple call to insurance usually reveals the problem as the pharmacist. The Doctors office as well as the insurance company refutes her statements and both have had to contact the pharmacist for clarification as to why a prescription cannot be filled as written . When she is questioned the only explanation is “ this is my pharmacy“. Calls from the MD ‘s office have resulted in “I have the authority to question and or reject any prescription per DEA Guidelines” .There seems to be some confusion about the distinction between Pharmacist and Medical Doctor .An update , the Doctors office called concerning refusal to fill my wife’s prescription’s , the female Pharmacist Courtney reportedly was very belligerent and told a complete fabrication of my visit to have prescriptions filled . She stated that I was there on three different days and used profanity towards her on the three different days . That is a absolute lie , She is a liar . The pharmacy has video recording at the counter and I videotaped the entire interaction myself . I questioned her authority and she didn’t like that at all , so she made up a story to back up her claims to the store manager . He does not think one customer is worth another interaction with her .Pharmacist Tech Courtney it appears has little character and less morals . Be careful during any interaction with her , video your interaction

If you made an appointment online for any vaccine at Walgreens in Seneca, SC, those appointments mean NOTHING. It's first come, first serve. Took my 95 year old mother for her 3pm appointment. We got there at 2:30, stood in a long line for 20 minutes just to be told it would be 45 minutes to an hour because it's "first come, first serve" even if you have an appt. They should put that online instead of letting you make an appointment.Can't say all Walgreens do this but this is ridiculous!

Had a question for the pharmacist. He was very patient, helpful & pleasant. Could not find something & a lady who seemed to be showing a "suit" the store lay out, was quick to ask if I needed help. With a smile, she pointed me to the exact item. Diana at checkout, was the happiest most uplifting person - she just made my day! Thank each of you for your help & your kindness.

The guy answering the phones on 07/10 at 6:35 is extremely rude, I was super nice and asked him if a product was available and he told me he wasn’t going to check and that “I need to come in instead of calling to check for myself” and I told him that I live in Hartwell GA and I’ve called multiple locations and every single one has let me know if there was any availability and he basically said he doesn’t care. I would not recommend calling this walgreens because you will be seen as a inconvenience.

I ran in to get a drink and there was a line at the front so I went back to the pharmacy to check out. There was a man just being so rude and disrespectful to the pharmacist and going on about how much money he makes and just shouting obscenities. I felt so bad for everyone in the pharmacy but the pharmacist handled it well. I’ve always had a pleasant experience in the pharmacy. I gained so much more respect for pharmacy workers after seeing that. Bravo pharmacist!

Never use this place! Literally the worst pharmacy you could choose. Nobody knows what they're doing and they are extremely rude! Can not even give you an estimate on when your prescription will be done. And if they do give you an estimate it will be wildly inaccurate!

This is consistently the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I waited months before writing this review as I was hoping the service would improve slightly. After suffering through this incredibly horrific service for 14+ months, I will not return and have to recommend using literally ANY other pharmacy. Even if you have to travel. It is worth NEVER coming here.My last experience (not the first bad experience, or even the worst) was a few weeks ago. My doctor's office called in a prescription and Walgreens told me they were working on filling it 12+ hours after being called in. After this time, they 'delayed for further investigation' and would not tell me why. I had my doctor's office call THREE times the next day to get it sorted out, to which Walgreens eventually responded with "not sure why it was delayed, we had it filled the entire time." Would not communicate that to me over the phone. Then, when I went to pick it up AFTER receiving this confirmation, the medication STILL was not ready for pick up. At this point, we are day 2 since the prescription was called in, and I had to return to pick it up even later. When I went the final time to pick this up I waited 32 minutes (yes, at this point you have to use a stop watch to track your insane amount of time waited with this pharmacy) with only ONE car in front of me at the drive thru to get my medication. Even after the wait, all of their staff is consistently rude and will not let you get a word in. THEN, they charged my card twice and would not refund me for 11-14 days, even though it was their fault. They refused to investigate the charges further.After all of this, I tried one more time to fill a prescription this morning. After waiting hours after the 'time ready for pick up,' I called before wasting my time in their drive thru. They told me they did not have enough pills to fill my medication and that they could not do anything for me. Would have been nice to know this hours ago so that I could have it transferred.PLEASE, save yourself the headache and time and choose ANY other pharmacy. There is ZERO consideration for the well being or convenience of customers. I will absolutely not return and would never recommend anyone using this pharmacy.

They refused to fill the prescription the doctor called in because they felt the quantity was unusual (it wasnt). They left me without medication and hung up on me repeatedly after having me on hold for 40+ minutes. Every time I would call back, I would be placed on hold and hung up on.It took me driving to the location to actually get resolution, in which time I observed the associate placing other customers on hold and hanging up on them- exactly as had been done to me. If this was not the only location within 20 miles I would not use them at all.

I've always have a good experience when I go to Walgreens. I go in get what I need and check out. Some times it takes a little longer but it's okay our seniors need a little more time. The staff has always been nice and very helpful.. thanks Walgreens!!

I waited a very long time before I posted a review, because I was just so positive that the rude, slow service that I experienced could NOT be typical of a Walgreen's! Apparently the Walgreen's in Clemson just spoiled me with politeness and expedient service.I'm leaving this review after multiple bad experiences. The most frustrating of them had to do with a medicine that required a prior authorization from my doctor. I had to play phone tag with my doctor's office, this pharmacy, and my insurance company to get to the bottom of the problem. Finally my insurance company said "We have a help line specifically for pharmacies. Just have them call us." The next time I spoke with this store, I relayed that information to a tech, and she had no idea what I was talking about, and did not offer to be any more assistance.Today I waited at the drive thru window for about 5 minutes before someone finally helped me. There were plenty of people in the pharmacy, but I guess they were too busy clocking out to even greet me and say that someone would be with me.I may sound like a snotty brat, but I do understand how frustrating and chaotic it must be to work in a busy pharmacy. I worked in food and customer service industries for a long time. But I have yet to meet a tech there who has shown any hint of customer service, much less doing anything to be extra helpful.

They are so slow and I called in a prescription 2 days before I went to pick it up. I set in the drive thru for 15 min and when I got to the window it was not ready so I had to come back in 20 min and I waited in line again for 20 min poor service

Just relocated to Seneca SC from TN had some prescriptions to transfer from another pharmacy chain.. Malorie went over and above making sure the script got transferred despite several hurdles she had to jump to get it done.Excellent Customer Service !!!The greatest asset any Company has is the commitment from its employees to make sure the wheels on the bus go round and round..and you have Satisfied Customers.Malorie is a Great Example that !!!

I went to buy tips for my mothers insulin injections and the lady at the pharmacy told me I have to have a prescription. I have bought them a dozen times and can even order them online. I pulled away and checked the Walgreens website and it clearly states that no prescription is needed as long as you are over 18.

Went to drop off a prescription there at 10am and was told it wouldn't be ready until after 6pm. Why would it take that long? We took it to Kmart instead and I had it in less than 15 minutes. I have not used the pharmacy since. The store is OK to shop in, I love all the hair care products they have, but the pharmacy kills the positive experience you expect from them.

I have never had such consistently bad customer service then I do with Walgreen's Pharmacy in Seneca. The cashiers up front are always super nice, but I dread any time I have to fill a prescription here. They are lazy and rude and always give us a run around about needing verification with the Dr. I hoped it would get better because they are convenient but I will be finding another pharmacy. I understand having a bad day but you get paid to be professional.

Went to pick up my prescriptions and no one was in line at the car line or inside and we had to wait 15 minutes if not more, before finally getting my medicine. Get going down the road to find out they had filled the wrong medicines I had just called about earlier. Call them and after 30 minutes of waiting, while I was there I watched the tech's and pharmacists pick up the phone and mash a button and put it right back down, they kept putting people on hold so they didn't have to answer. When I finally talked to them they said come back and they'll switch them and hung up. I didn't get a word in!! Rude!! Whomever hires people who has no respect for their customers are ignorant becaue you just lost a customer after I switch out my medicine.

The pharmacy is a joke- we’ve been sitting in this line for 18 minutes and we’re AT the window! There is one other car in the lane beside us that pulled up just before we did. They are not answering the phone so that we can tell them we simply have a pick up- no insurance issues or anything like that. When they finally did help us they were frustrated that we were impatient, I’m sure, but come on- we’re switching to a pharmacy that’s 17 miles away rather than come back here again. Ridiculous

Terrible customer service!! I walk in and to the front counter and I stand and wait.. as I walked in I noticed the manager Vanessa laying over the cart on her telephone and she clearly sees me standing there but still had to ask if I could get some help. She says yes then continues to lay on the cart on the phone. Someone else finally rung me up. This Walgreens has always been a bad place to go it was just convenient at the time but quickly remembered why we no longer do business here. If you shop at Walgreens I suggest going to a different one

I was waiting in like of the pharmacy drive thru and after about 15 minutes decided to go inside because the line was long. After going inside there was one costumer being helped and I walked up to the register beside her waiting for assistance. After standing there another 10 minutes for someone else to finish being helped, 3 more people got in line. Well when it was my turn to be helped the Pharmacist decided to help the woman BEHIND me. So irritated, I walked off and got into the drive thru line again because there was already 3 other people behind her and she obviously didn’t care that I was waiting at the 2nd register. When I got BACK into the drive through line there were 4 cars ahead of me. So when I finally get to the window I said “I hope you can help me since the 2nd pharmicist completely ignored me” so she took my info and told the 2nd pharmacist about my experience and she decide to “apologize” which was a complete JOKE because the 1st pharmacist was LAUGHING while she was “apologizing” I haven’t needed a prescription in years and this experience will cause me to NEVER go through that Pharmacy again. THEY ARE A JOKE. Terrible costumer service and very poor choice of employees. I’m EXTREMELY disappointed.

I hate this store! It has the poorest service I've ever seen in my 67 years of life! You take your prescriptions there, stand in line forever just to turn them in, then asked to come back at midnight to pick them up. If you tell them you can't come back, you get to sit in their chair for 1 or 2 hours! I want to find another store but they have bought out all the best stores in the county. They could at least hire more people to help get the work done. I would give them a negative -10 rating if I could!!!

Completely frustrating trying to get my prescriptions filled accurately here. Several times I've tried to get my prescription filled, but they seem to find some different reason each time to delay it or get it wrong. You actually have to go there, expecting the prescription to be filled. No surprise, they still don't have it filled! Avoid if possible, it might save your life.

Ya drop off a prescription at 9:00 am, it’s paused for insurance reasons, you try to call and tell them to use GoodRx instead, but they hang up on you, then you go through the drive through to tell them, but since the quantity was put in the system incorrectly, you have to wait another hour, after you call them again about their mistake. Finally.. at 1:30.. you can pick up your meds. Idiots!!

Just gotten out out hospital and and had 9 prescriptions to be filled that day and was going to westminster SC to pick my dog up from my daughter's or so I thought,when I asked the Dr's. Could they call in the prescriptions to a pharmacy in westminster.They tell me that my prescriptions were called in at Walgreens in Westminster SC and would be ready by the time I get there.Needless to say my dog was in the car when I was picked up at the hospital. GET TO WALGREENS AND THE PHARMACY DOESN'T EVEN OPEN ON THE WEEKENDS AND THEY FAILED TO PASS THIS INFORMATION ON TO THE DRS.IN SENECA. CALL HOSPITAL AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL IN THE SCRIPTS TO THE WALGREENS IN SENECA.GO BACK TO SENECA WHERE I HAD JUST LEFT THE HOSPITAL FROM.GET TO THE WALGREENS THERE THE LADY IN THE PHARMACY WAS VERY RUDE AND LET ME KNOW THAT THERE WERE NO CALLS FROM HOSPITAL. called hospital bk and they were saying yes they did call them in so here I am tired sick and just wanted to get home and in my own bed.Im fuming by then and ready to throw up which I did and the rude lady was even ruderso I call hospital bk and told them just to call them in at CVS at Ingles plaza in Seneca where I always had my meds filled before.As I get there at CVS within not even 5 minutes they were all ready but 2 waiting for me within that 5 minute period.

This place will never get my families business again. My mother-in-law traveled a hour to get her meds due to the fact they didn’t have them at a regular pharmacy. She gets home and the LABELS were wrong and had some else’s information on them. She calls the pharmacy and they ask her to open the bottles to see what pills are in them. Fortunately, she was careful. Y’all could kill someone! If you gave pills to someone else!

The Pharmacy Tech LAUREN to be exact.... Was running around acting very immature ( slamming phone) never greeted me as I stood at the counter for 10 min while she looked at me and continued her unpreffisional conversation.. Not to mention... The main reason I even used Walgreens to get my birth control (Nuva Ring) is because my husband dropped it off and picked it up for me due to me working... the price of the 1 nuva ring was $155 and also another rx I had was a total of $230... I'm a nurse so I used my good rx at work and with the discount I was able to get a little money back... As she was already short with me and acted as if she got satisfaction that I couldn't get a full refund for the nuva ring I did want the difference on what the good rx coupon was going to save me.. She proceeds to tell the pharmacist to come and " approve a refund all over $26" the little unnecessary comments and her attuitde Makes me never want to step foot back in that store at ALL! I have never been treated so crappy by a "professional" person... I will be contacting corporate and get to the bottom of this no matter to what extent I have to go she will answer for her actions tonight... that's for sure! I personally would say this store is by far a -10 star for sure.... They need A LOT more training and A LOT more hospitality!..

20 people in line waiting to check out, 1 inexperienced (or possibly just slow) working. Plenty of employees standing around doing nothing. Piss poor. Store is kinda a mess, which is surprising considering how many employees aren't running a checkout line, someone should be able to clean up the place.
