I absolutely love this place. The store is the only place I go to get fish and supplies for my fish. I am a newer fish tank owner, and they were more than happy to teach me how to be a more responsible tank owner. You can get anything from freshwater to saltwater fish. Since I started working with them, I have successfully set up two thriving freshwater fish tanks that have beautiful fish. If you want to have a fish tank and actually have the fish stay alive, skip the big box stores and come to Under the Sea Aqudics for all your aquarium needs.More pictures to come when I visit again. Staff is super knowledgeable and kind. Tanks are clean and the fish are some of the most vibrant and healthy fish I've seen in petstores.The woman that helped us (who I am assuming was the owner)was so nice offering to try and find the specific fish I was looking for! She took the time to answer all my questions and I had quite a few . The gentleman behind the counter was just as great helping my husband out with tank backing and even offering our daughter a treat(asking us for permission of course)! On top of the great service I was super impressed with the fact a lot of their distributors are also local small business owners! If I could leave a higher review I absolutely would!

Great local fish store for all your saltwater and freshwater needs! If it’s not in stock they are willing to order it for you and usually have it by the next week or so. They also carry small animals like rabbits, hedgehogs, and chinchillas!

Staff was rude and standoffish. Uninviting and hardly any fish. In general, horrible atmosphere which is ironic considering it’s a fish store and their sign is in comic sans font.Don’t go here. They don’t want you here either.

You’ll know when I slander someone. At no point did I make false accusations. And to say you don’t respect me on Facebook also, again just proves my point. Learn how to figure out the customer service/retention side of business. God bless.———.Definitely would NOT recommend!!!! Super rude lady working there had to take a break from her phone call she was on, to tell us to leave when we walked in because “my shirt was not long enough”. As if I was dressed like a street walker or as if I had something provocative on. Which was not the case. I am a 30 year old woman. An adult. We just laughed because it was just comical really.You have your little sign on your door. But there’s no mention of your dress code anywhere else.So we drove all of that way to spend hard earned money and to support a local business only to get a very rude lady on the phone to tell me I can’t be there. Waste of gas. Waste of time.And after reading some of the reviews, it sounds like being rude is an extra service you guys provide. Maybe while you’re on your next cigarette break, maybe think about better customer service 😊 because the good Lord wouldn’t want us judging people now would he? Thank you and God bless 😊

Will be buying our fish here from now on! We have bought the exact fish from PetSmart before and after 12 hours the fish would be struggling, and eventually die. We thought it was something we was doing, but after buying from here and having the fish for a whole day and night , I can see the difference in the health of the fish compared to the fish from PetSmart. Also very friendly and educational! Absolutely love the prices compared to anywhere else as well!

Highly Recommend themUpdate as of 7/19/2023Finally got a chance to get back to Under The Sea Aquatics this past Weekend. Finally, I had been trying for weeks, but time funny right. lolStore looks even BETTER than last time!! And it was awesome then. They are very knowledgeable & have awesome pricing on livestock. Me and wife came in to look around everyone was super friendly when we walk in and you will get a very cozy and calm vibe. We met this handsome hedgehog they let us hold it and we’re very knowledgeable about him! Thanks guys we definitely will be back.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS STORE! The owner and his wife are incredibly rude and very pushy salespeople. Fish did not look healthy and tanks were not clean. The last 3 times I have gone in to shop, they have been very rude. Last time my fiancee and I came into the store, they kicked her out for wearing a slightly cropped athletic top because it didn't completely cover her stomach. My fiancee is very conscious about her dress and was very embarassed at how she was treated. Super unprofessional, I have given this store a try multiple times and they have officially lost my business.

Absolutely the best shop between Atlanta and Charlotte. I had absolutely no experience with fish when I first went there but now have two tanks that are doing well, thanks to all of the time they spent educating me. Love these folks! You won’t find a more friendly and informative couple than the folks that own this shop. Their livestock is beautiful as they take great pride in all they do. Great inventory for all your salt and freshwater needs. If they don’t have it, they’re always more than happy to source your needs.Came in as customers and left as friends. Keep up the awesome work! Traveling from out of town and decided to stop in. Very friendly owners and a nice clean setup. You don’t see many LFS going through the QT process before providing fish and corals for sale. Good to see they care about the customer experience as best they have control over to set customers up for the best success.Good selection of fish and corals with reasonable prices. If I were local, I would certainly visit this place often.

I wanted to take a couple days before I posted this review. I talked to the owner about moving my aquarium from one side of Walhalla to the other. He quoted me a price of $75/hr.I want to say up front that him and the guy he brought with him did a great job breaking it down and setting it up at my new house. I didn’t lose any fish. They were professional and courteous.I’m a disabled veteran with a number of health issues, some of which have hit me since I set the aquarium up. I was very happy to find someone who could move it for me and I thought the price was fair. It took a total of four hours to complete so I’m figuring $300.The owner shows me his phone with the total of $600. When I looked surprised, he said it was $75/hr for him and $75/hr for the guy who helped him. I was shocked. I couldn’t really say anything because the movers were still there and my daughter was standing a few feet from me. Honestly, I think he had it planned that way and that’s why he showed me his phone instead of telling me the final cost. I paid him, I wasn’t going to argue in front of everyone.I understand times are tough, but they’re tough for everyone. I would have gladly paid $300 for the job he did. He ripped me off for an additional $300.I don’t care how nice his store is, how great his fish are, what kind of tanks he has for sale (he kept trying to tell me that I needed a bigger tank when I know I don’t), I will NEVER step foot in that store again and I’ll tell anyone that’s interested in aquariums to find someone else. I don’t appreciate being ripped off.

The store is okay, but refuse service for something as mundane as wearing a cropped shirt. Don't know if they realize that policing people on clothing like this in the late spring (70°F and up weather). Didn't know I just walked into a public school with this dress coding.

The store is very well set up, clean, and presentable. Owners are very knowledgeable and willing to help a beginner reefer like myself. Fish and inverts are nice and healthy along with their decent selection of coral frags. Prices are pretty reasonable. If you’re a reef keeper, have a FOWLR system, looking to get into the hobby, or whatever level you may be at I highly suggest checking this place out so we can help keep a specialty reef store in business in our area.

Whatever you want just let um' know and they'll actually get it for you. I didn't believe them but they said they'd call when the got the fish I wanted in. I gave up waiting a week later but by 2 they actually called me and had the fish I wanted. It was only a 5$ fish too. Happy customer here!!!

Very nice fish store/pet store. Owners are very friendly and the establishment is family owned. If you’re looking for a used fully functional tank great deals. Fish are the most expensive I have seen in the 10+ stores I’ve been to in the upstate.

Recently found a new hobby and love for fish aquariums and ponds. I bought a 300 gal stock tank and this place has stocked me with fish. They place my order and call me with a pick up date. Very attentive and knowledgeable!!! Within a months time I have been here 5x!

Went by today just to take a look and see what they have, we went in we felt so comfortable very nice staff very polite love to help very knowledgeable we ended up buying two goldfish for a new tank and we will definitely be going back to purchase more fish and hopefully a hedgehog soon they’re so awesome hope you guys go and check them out
