They work so hard here to help combat the selfishness of people who refuse to spay and neuter cats and dogs. THEY WILL HELP YOU GET PETS NEUTERED IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD IT! Staff is kind, shelter is clean, and they seem to love and care for those fur balls who don't have - but deserve - loving homes.

Wonderful animal adoption service. Clean. Very informed staff. The best shelter I have been to. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a new furry family member. We just adopted little Trooper after a short fostering period. White Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. Go online and make an appointment to visit with all the wonderful fur babies. You definitely won't regret it.

I just adopted my new "baby" Cammie from here. I was so surprised I was able to do application, and all the different things in order to make sure she and I would be a great fit (and so they could make sure she was going to good home) as quickly, yet thoroughly.I brought her home that day, and they also sent her with a dog bed, bag of dog food, dog treats and 3 toys, and wormer and antibiotics to finish out her kennel cough medicine.The people that work here are wonderful and the volunteers are a godsend! You can truly tell everyone here adores all the animals here! Pics of my baby Cammie (they named her that at shelter, which I do call her that, but her new full, name is now Chamomile Sue Fey!

Got my rescue pup from here! The staff were all so kind and helpful!! Gifted us with a lot of start up gear (leash, collar, toys, treats)! They really took the time to help us find the perfect fit for our family and she's a happy little trail dog 🐶

very rude staff at the front desk. Had an attitude when we were asking about neutering our dog. Then after leaving I called to ask a question and she was super rude (blonde lady). If it wasn’t for Paw Partners being short staffed we would have just went there! They never disappoint.

I adopted 2 brother cats from OHS in Aug & they were so bonded & loving. Dice has been missing 5 weeks now & Jasper misses him just like I do. I appreciate animal control helping me look for him. I've had cats all my life & I'm glad I have Jasper & pray Dice turns up somewhere.

This place is amazing.They always amaze meThey make sure to accommodate the unfortunate that cannot 🙂 afford necklaces( collars🙂)I ALWAYS see 🙈 volunteers walking the dogs, 🐶, and I cannot say anything bad, the manager, was short towards me one day, but then I thought to myself, " What could she be going through?" 🙌" Is she stressed out?"" Are the inmates non compliant?"So I offered her a word of encouragement, instead of judging her.Have a good one y'all•••••C°J°C••••••

My dog was "incarcerated"😁 in this facility for the weekend. The people I dealt with to secure her release were friendly and very informative. The facility was clean and my girl was well cared for.

I have adopted from them before but recently I had lost 2 cats both by natural causes and I was looking to adopt a new Kitty and they were very unpleasant when I went to adopt a new Kitty they only had 2 they were listed as ready but when I applied they were not ready and the lady that came and talked to me about it was very rude And condescending And even went as so far to file false claims against me for hurting my animals which I very much love and do everything I can for them. They have no respect for anyone and I will never recommend them to anybody that's looking to get rid of a animal

Insteading creating and breeding more animals. Why not take in a family member from your local animal room and board. So many family members needs adopted. Very nice staff that will help you. Let's give these puppies family members whatever you may call them I call them family a place to call home it is our duty as individuals to give a home. We have seven in our home could you think about at least taking one home with you. It would help to room more if we would do more for these babies. The staff here really cares for these family members puppies babies Barbies whatever you want to call them I call them family. Think about it really good place though

Fantastic shelter! Everyone was so accommodating and very helpful. There were many people walking dogs and it was extremely clean. I could tell that they really care about the animals and they take very good care of them. I would definitely recommend adopting an animal from this shelter. It was inexpensive for all of the benefits that we received in adopting NOLA. Thank you Oconee Humane Society!
