New store. You can still smell the paint The store itself is great. A few fresh veggies, raw goat kefir, raw cow milk. A lot of things I've never seen anywhere. Menu is extremely limited, so I just had sweet tea. It was a very nice atmosphere to gather with Lady friends and talk and fellowship with one another. Maybe, next time the menu will have expanded to include something that blows my skirt up. I love my salads but hopefully, one day, a grilled chicken breast tender to chunk in the salad. No comment on the sweet tea, cause in really hard to please in that department. You guys have a lovely place. I'm so glad to see that area restored from when I first saw it in 2019. I wish you much success and will return to shop in the general store.

A beautiful example of taking something old and making it into something new that is enjoyable for the whole community. You will find a large assortment of health foods and panic options, baked goods, various treats and drinks, wine and beer, and even a full kitchen for breakfast and lunch. My personal favorite is the breakfast sandwich, but you have to try out the it's and gravy, it's too hard to choose between the two. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is always delicious and the restaurant is kept very clean. I bring my family here and friends often, because it is worth the money. Much appreciation to the kind owners

This delightful general store is such a gift to Newry. The owners are working hard to stock an impressive depth of offerings to serve the growing community.Everything is here from fresh local veggies and dairy products to soothing bath bombs. All the menu items sounded good but I landed on the turkey and avocado with pesto on fresh, local sourdough.I didn't treat myself, but they have a great selection of wines and local craft beer - even a Belgian tripel

This review may be a bit bias, as I spent my childhood years in Newry, 35 years ago. My dad and I visited yesterday and browsed the lovely general store. We each got a yummy cup of coffee to enjoy while sitting on the beautiful porch. Such a beautiful store/cafe. We look forward to returning.

Great addition to Lake Keowee! Locally owned offering locally sourced food items. We had the veggie sandwich on sourdough and the strawberry salad with Clemson Blue Cheese Dressing. Everything was delicious.Think Swamp Rabbit Cafe on the lake!

Very cool place to grab lunch, coffee and dessert. The Cuban sandwich was really good and full of meat. The star of the show for me was the “Nutter Butter” cookie!

Sweet tea was bad / tasted old . The bread on my chicken salad sandwich was dry & a very small amount of chicken was on the sandwich . Ingles has better chicken salad honestly. No sodas or juice was available to substitute the bad tea. Just not good at all.

My husband and I went here for lunch today. We liked the place, the food and people. A very pleasant lunch break! We ordered sandwiches and the salad of the day to share! Everything was delicious!

Authentic historic building; clean facility, delightful atmosphere, and friendly staff; large open meeting room with stairs and elevator access. Small parking lot with limited accessible parking, but additional parking appears to be available next door at mill site condos (steps to climb).

I gave this place a good review 6 months ago but my husband and I just had a very disappointing lunch today. My husband had the Cuban. It’s their version of a Cuban which isn’t that great. They used deli ham and put bacon on it and the bread was awful. If you’re going to do a Cuban do a real Cuban with roasted pork. I got the chicken salad and the chicken quality was not good. It reminded me of heavily peppered rotisserie chicken that you get in grocery store. Very disappointing. Don’t cut corners or if you do lower your prices.

Beautiful space, delicious food! The grocery is full of local produce and food items curated from local makers and producers. Great selection of wine and beer, impressive whole bean retail coffee selection, interesting finds like Spicewalla spices and handmade pastas from Charleston. The Whaling Co bath bombs are the best ones I've ever tried (have tried A LOT) and I love being able to get Little Seed Farm hand soaps and serums. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, super helpful, and everything I've eaten here so far has been amazing! Love all the details and work that went into restoring this historic space. The entire upstairs is a gorgeous event space- floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors, great vibes.

Wow! A great store with amazing grocery/produce selection and a cute cafe. We tried almost everything on the cafe's breakfast menu -- it was all delicious and incredibly fresh. Plus, the service was super friendly! Would definitely be a regular if I lived in the area. The grocery selection is streamlined, but all the products are super fresh and local. Wish I could get produce and dairy like they have where I live!

This clean, next level dining / artisan local food store environment near the lake makes a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner spot. I enjoyed an excellent savory scone. The sausage gravy and biscuits were memorable cravable comfort food. The creative fresh cold fruit gazpacho was delicious! The Americano coffee was excellent as well. Best of luck!

The place is kind of nice inside. Interesting. My wife and I both ordered turkey avocado sandwiches they looked nice but they forgot the avocado. But they did bring us on the side. Maybe in a month or 2 I might try it again. $32 for a couple sandwiches and ice tea I think it's pretty expensive.

Delicious food, produce and groceries, locally sourced and locally owned. This was the spot the Keowee region was missing. So thankful to have a healthy and delicious option for breakfast, lunch or even dinner! I love the beautiful event space they have upstairs as well, and the outdoor patios. Friendly, caring service and a beautiful space.

Vibes of Swamp Rabbit Cafe in Greenville. Love the atmosphere and selection of unique items. We only grocery shopped this visit. I would say the prices are a little on the high side. Everyone was super friendly.
