Ingles has been in Seneca for a good long time now and after all the years of hard earned victories it seems as if the newer stores with their new style ads, coupons / incentives and cheaper food prices, have some local folks abandoning our old school favorite. I ask for what? For "Made in China" food products. Off brand goods, not worth trying. No true customer loyalty and local customer care. I'll stick with Ingles and dance with the one I started with. Not always perfect...but always the effort to provide quality food at affordable prices.

They have good Subs 6.95each for 12foot sub. and The hard workers always there for you their subs are cheaper but not very long or fat bread subs.l, but their donuts after 6:00 or two for a dollar it's worth the time to go down there and collect as much Donuts as you want for the price at 50 cents each and each donut is handmade in their Bakery wow yum yummy..

Always check the Best Buy date on our products that you buy from Ingles. I came across products that were out of date in a lit the gentleman working in that department know. The following day when I came in the product was still on the shelf. Also, none of their cashiers know how to count back money when you have change coming. Almost everybody that works. There is rude.

Good variety of food items. Clean store and parking lot. Always well stocked. So expensive that I avoid going there.

Exceptionally well. Very helpful people other than a tall bald white guy that likes to follow people around the store like a creepo.

Why, WHY is this the only Ingles out of 3 counties in 3 states that cannot manage to get PROPER DELI DRINK CUPS AND SOUP CUPS! Every other Ingles deli I've been in have for months had the proper cup in their deli. Cashier's, Easley, Pickens, Central/Clemson, Liberty, West Union, Toccoa, ALL have proper cups. This has been my favorite Ingles store for years And I WAS buying tea there at least four times a week as well as a couple hundred dollars of groceries per week, and the substitute cups were not a big deal until the last three weeks when you started using a 16 ounce cup and charging the same price as the regular 32 ounce deli drink. And some of your cashier's back there will laugh about it and say " yeah, we know it's a rip off but..."Now, I'll walk in and look to see if you've done anything about it and if not, I walk back out and go way out of my way to West Union or Central to make my Ingles purchases.DO BETTER INGLES SENECAPhotos from West Union taken 4/12/2022

They're a lifesaver for me!!! I can't go shopping like I used to, I'm too ill. This lets me maintain a little bit of independence. I realize that my review left a lot more questions than answers and I'm so sorry to the 135 people who viewed this. When I said that they let me maintain some independence, I meant they're curbside online shopping. I'm specifically referring to the Ingles located in Seneca, SC. It's commonly known as Ingles Plaza and there's a CVS as well as a gas station at the front entrance to the Plaza. Now, to use Ingles online shopping download the app, and create an account and password. You can look at what we Southerners normally "the sales paper" even though this is not paper, if you see something you want from the ad, just click it and add it to your cart. If it's a sale price dependent on the number of items, it will tell you. I've personally found it easier to just start shopping as I would inside the store, so I begin with produce, and if you want 3 bananas, it's going to have a drop-down button for you to tell them the number of bananas you want and then if you want them green, yellow, ripe or over-ripe, you select that and then tell it to put it in your cart, once I've finished with the fruit & veggies, I head to the deli section, the bakery, etc. You can look at what's in your buggy at any time and see what the price is so you can stay on budget. This will be your first list and when you return the next time, you can duplicate everything with the push of a button. But, I've not done that yet but if something you bought before is on sale, you'll be notified and allowed to add it. I've found the personal shoppers who have helped me are generous with the grapes but I only pay for whatever I ask for never more, I need a scale because I know that I'm getting more. If an item you've asked for isn't in stock, they've always "upgraded" me with a name-brand product but not at the name-brand price. I've only been able to go once. As I said, it helps me "feel" a little independent because I'm looking at the price and deciding whether I want it or not. One of my friends isn't deciding for me. I'm picking the flavor of juice that I want or the frozen Healthy Choice meals that I want. Deciding what ice cream I shouldn't have and still getting it. THAT type of independence. I rode up once to pick up the groceries and I didn't even speak face to face to anyone, but I got sick for the 4th or 5th time this year. I love Rusty and his team of shoppers who have made me and other people similar to me feel a little less weird.

The "butcher" shop part of the store is absolutely horrible. The only person who will ever help you is Kathy and if she's not there well you can forget about it. Waited over 10 minutes today to get help to get thick cut bone in pork chops...after 5 minutes some guy came out and said...she's coming...5 minutes later still no one. Finally a girl came, walked right past me and started doing something at the seafood table. I was the only person standing there, obviously waiting to be served. I will fight the craziness at Wal-Mart (and buy my pork chops somewhere else) before I stand there 10 plus minutes to just be ignored.

I just wanted to give credit and recognition where it’s due. One of the store managers, Daniel Carroll, went above and beyond to find a product for me that I really needed. He’s been very helpful a few times, actually. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at in the area.

I would give zero stars as there is roaches in the deli and management does nothing about it

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have to put on my winter coat to shop more then 30 minutes. Why is the air conditioner so unbearable cold? Hot buffet at deli used to be great a year or two ago. What happened? All those employees back there ,yet no one can at least stir the overheated, evaporateing to a crisp what ever . With out the label, some of the hot bar choices are unrecognizable. Sorry, I once was employed at this very deli years ago. It's condition now is unacceptable . I will not eat this........ bla bla.

I have called this store 4 times simply asking if they had 'Charleston Gold Rice' in-stock and available and have been hung up on all 4 times. Customer service here is atrocious.

Food bar is great. Workers are working. They offer to carry your stuff to the car. I like this store a lot. They have the siggi yogurt drink I love so much and they have a natural products section that is very nice. Store is always clean and smells like flowers when you walk in and coffee.. nothing beats ingles.

Staff works super hard to keep shelves stocked and lines moving. The hot food and deli sections also have great food and service. It's the busiest grocery store anywhere. I can count license tags from at least 5 states each time. Only problem is customers who expect to dash in get items off every isle and be out in 30 min. Saw rude customers never staff. Its a grocery store people, don't go hungry, or in a hurry. Make it better for all of us.
