Purchased a weapon(rifle) with a scope, new grip, and ammunition(1000 rounds). Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE SUCKED! I live 1 1/2 hours away. First, seems their system for approving purchase was down so had to return to pick up my new weapon. Second, brought it home and was ready to zero the weapon and scope, and weapon failed to automatically place next cartridge in chamber, so had to do it manually. On third attempt, cartridge partially jammed. Thus, third trip to have cartridge removed and weapon repaired. Was told by manager that buffer/ spring problem and they would repair at no charge. Fourth trip to pick up weapon after repair- charging me $35.00 for repair!! Armorer said he doesn’t work for free and if I wanted it to be warranty, I should have sent it back to manufacturer. And armorer used my ammunition to test after repair so they didn’t have to charge me for ammunition. Finally, to pick up weapon on both occasions, was supposed to have been called when ready, but I had to initiate the call to determine if ready both times. Will NOT be returning for any reason.

5+++ stars for this place. I just bought a shotgun and wanted to learn how to use it. Alex and Mike were incredible. So knowledgeable. They spent 20 minutes going through everything with me and came into the range to help me a few times. It was such a great experience. I highly recommend this place!

This is an excellent range and firearms store. Looks very new and has a excellent selection of firearms. Utilized the range and rented a silenced M4 automatic (3round burst). The people that ran the range were very friendly. One thing I hate about ranges is the to cool for school, I’m cooler than you are attitude. There is none of this attitude at this facility. Extremely satisfied with my experience there. And the prices were extremely reasonable.

Really loved this range. I would recommend getting there right when they open or within 2 hours doing the week. By noon on Friday it was full. I would also recommend checking on the app before you get there. Saves alot of time.

I've made several purchases from this establishment. They have a variety of items and brands to meet your needs. Everyone is friendly and courteous. Staff is very safe, knowledgeable, and don't push particular brand names on you. They will strive to make sure you're comfortable with your purchase. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

I called ahead about swapping sights on my Glock. I was quoted a reasonable price. My next question was would it be done while I wait being it is a under 20 minute job and I would be driving a little over an hour. I was told that would be no problem as long as I came today. I made the hour drive. I was impressed with the store upon arriving. They checked in my fire arm and took it to the back to perform the swap. After about 3 minutes the salesman gets my attention while I was browsing the store to inform me a shipment of items had just arrived and they now would not have time to do the swap because they needed to unload the boxes and enter the merchandise into inventory. Total customer service fail. As I drove away from the store, I see ome of the gunsmiths in their apron outside leaning against a truck while chatting with a customer who had walked out. Maybe this is not the norm, but it was my first and last experience with them. I will never recommend or shop at this facility in the future.

I recently attended a class at DSD and it was excellent. The instructor, Mike, is a great teacher with a wealth of knowledge from spending 30+ years on the police force, to include SWAT and Sniper teams. You can’t beat this kind of training. Their merchandise is also top notch and we’ve purchased a few items in the past. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Their CCW class in unmatched! They supply the guns and ammo with an indoor range so weather is not an issue! It said lunch was include so I was waiting for a bologna sandwich and chips! They showed up with Chick-fil-A and drinks! They are nice and knowledgeable!

After a pretty tough week, my husband suggested renting some equipment and a trip to the range. I had never shot a gun before but Amanda was SO helpful. She was patient and thorough and clear. It really helped my nervousness. If you’re interested in learning how to shoot, I highly recommend her!

It's 2023 and color is still a major issue to certain people sad fact. Theirs a male here with a huge lack of respect for people in general but also to people of Color. His anger is completely shown through his actions. The way he speaks,facial expressions, body language and etc. Using the word "Boy" isn't affensive but it is hurtful When you know the character behind the person who's using it. They also have a real unique way of advertising their business and beliefs by boldly advertising signs which clearly keeps ethnic groups divided. Blue lives matter is clearly taking a jab at the black lives matter Logo. American owned is also taking a jab at alot of business and facilities in the Clemson or Seneca area. This creates division but some want it to remain that way!

The guys in here are alright, just do yourself a favor, don't buy on a weekend unless you have a CWP. They'll offer to call you back if SLED gives you a hold, but the problem is that the weekend and the weekday are different crews with specific log ins. Meaning they won't call you or have access to the record, it also means you'll have to redo your paperwork because 6 Days is too long. Bottom line, they don't say it upfront, but they want CWPs only. Great shop otherwise. Firearms could be cheaper, but we all say that because they aren't free. Haven't used their range yet.

Was going to visit their range and do some target shooting while I'm in town from the west coast, but the in-your-face presentation of "Blue Lives Matter" and "Punisher" merchandise on their Google Maps listing and website let me know I'm probably not welcome here. You'd get more customers if you didn't politicize your business so much!

These guys are all awesome! Joseph, Daniel and the entire staff are all very knowledgeable and will help get you equipped with all your firearm needs. If you are looking to get your CWP check them out. The class is usually instructed by someone with over 30 years in law enforcement. This experience is very valuable when taking such a class. Prices are a bit high right now, but no price is to high to protect yourself and your loved ones! Visit Deep South Defense ASAP!

Employees treat you more like a friend than a customer. They remember regulars and what you normally order if your a repeat customer. The staff doesn't push you to the most pricy items but the products they know work from experience or customer reviews. I would recommend to anyone.
