My daughter had her birthday party here last weekend. We had such a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful. They answered all of our questions and supported the kids while they made bath bombs. My daughter has already asked to have her next party here again. I highly recommend Buff City not only for the party experience, but for the high quality of all of their products. We will certainly continue buying our soaps and bath products from here.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door! The worker instantly asked what we were shopping for and even mentioned a sale that was going on. I believe her name was Laura Gray. She walked me straight to the laundry detergent and discussed the difference of smells and types. She even talked my husband into buying new soap for himself. She followed us all the way to check out! It was a lovely experience and will definitely be back.

I purchased 6 gift sets as part of our teacher gifts. Kayla went above and beyond to help me decide what would be the best fit for me. She also helped me locate them and carried them to the front for me.The store was clean and organized and I was greeted by several employees when I walked through the door. This was during holiday rush. I will absolutely be back.

Came in today for the $13 washing powders and was highly disappointed. Had to wait 30 minutes just to get scent put into 2 powders because there were so many people wanting to scent their washing powder too. There were only 2 girls helping people behind the counter and they were apologetic but clearly overwhelmed. Don’t go to this store during a big sale or you’ll have to wait forever to get anything. Will be ordering online from now on, but still disappointed because online doesn’t give me the option to buy the washing powder in the scent I like… it’s a lose lose I guess.

I walked in the store two weeks ago, and was never greeted. I figured, it was because I am a beautiful black woman, but after reading other reviews, it has nothing to do with color, the employees lack customer service skills. Imma need for y’all to get it together. I love the soap, but I have a cousin that make soap, and I can make it myself, I just don’t have time to do it. The first thing, y’all should do when someone walk in the store is greet them. I don’t know if I’ll be going back to the Clemson location or not. That is the location I went to when I was not greeted. I was the only customer in the store. It was three employees, but the cashier was friendly. I’m giving y’all two stars, because y’all need to do better!

A friend recommended this place for some stocking stuffers and everyone was very welcoming. Lauren was super sweet and directed me towards the more popular scents. They had a very large selection and it was hard to choose just one!!! Would recommend

Love my new laundry detergent!! Tried Buff City a few days ago, and now I am hooked! I’m not sure why other reviewers were complaining about the lack of customer service. Everyone working was super helpful and informative without being too pushy and “in your face.” One girl especially took the time to explain the laundry products in depth when I asked and even helped me find a scent I love! Now I have detergent and scent booster that smells like my fave, Capri Blue Volcano! I will definitely be a repeat customer!!

Very similar experience comment on here from 10 months ago.I too was in this store today.The 3 employees never said a word to me nor made eye contact to acknowledge me or anyone else that was in the store.Never offered any help as I was needing to ask questions about different items.The employees really need improve their customer service skills.I even walked out & came back in but still wasn’t acknowledged.Customers do have questions . But no one offered to help any of the 7 other customers that were in the store.I finally had to go to a employee, wait for her to acknowledge me to ask questions about some items I needed to purchase.I spent $100.00+ in the store.But the employees definitely need to do better!!

I love all the products I have tried so far. The best bar soap, very creamy & moisturizing and great for sensitive skin. You can get unscented products also if your sensitive to scents. The oatmeal honey works for my sister who is sensitive to scents. The whipped body butter is amazing. Always friendly & helpful staff. You must try!! Highly recommend!

I went into the Clemson-Seneca location yesterday around 4:30. I was the only customer in the store.There were about 3 employees plus a manager, and not one of them said a word to me. I was in there for 5-10 minutes. I’m not sure if it was because they assumed I wouldn’t spend money there… either way, the soap smelled amazing, just be mindful of the importance of treating each customer equally. It’s likely that I won’t return to the store.

Even had Clemson soap. Stopped by after hearing about it on TheRoar wasn't disappointed. Really liked the drier balls. (Off label use-put one scented ball in the "dog room" and it smells great!) Had to get the purple, orange and white soap! Most items under $10 if you want a gift

I finally took the plunge and visited this store. Normally when I treat myself to handmade soap, I go for goats milk soap, mainly zum bar. The store had a great selection of soap and it was hard to choose from. Luckily, they had 4 for $20. I was thrilled to discover the cherry almond scent. I love jergens lotion cherry almond scent and have never been able to find the scent as a soap. The bar size is large and it lathers very well. I will continue to purchase from here. UPDATE: After using these soaps for 3 weeks without lotion, my skin feels sooooo smooth! And I am a person with naturally rough skin! This is NOW my go to soap.

My family and I love Buff City Soap! Their laundry soap is wonderful! My boys love watching them make the soap on location and you can customize your laundry soap scent! We're so thrilled to have them come to our area! Oh and the bath bombs and truffles are the best!

Best soap ever!!!!! I have tried homemade soaps from Anderson, Abbeville, and Greenwood, and I never found a soap that helped my sensitive skin. I have had no skin issues since using your soap. The soaps look and smell great! Definitely the best soap in the Upstate!

Lots of fun products. Usually some items on sale. Very friendly staff. Great place to pick up a gift.Most products are made on site, and use ingredients that are easy to recognize. If you join their mailing list you get notified about sales and get cash back on future purchases. A little pricey, so any discount is appreciated!

Overall they have some great products but unfortunately I have a shea butter allergy and I went in and asked once if they could make some products without it and they told me no so I can’t really use any of the products.
