Used to be a great store, been shopping here for awhile, they used to have helpful employees and good prices.Now the employees literally hide from you, and that's only if they care enough to acknowledge your existence.Most the time they will just flat out ignore you.Save yourself the time and trouble and just go to Walmart or dollar general.

The employees were all very kind and helpful. I'm not from the area, so it was nice to be able to ask for help, and the employees were all more than willing to help. The gentleman at the bakery helped to choose a desert. The gentleman working in the one isle was able to help us find these chips we were looking for. Then, the sweet lady up front, I think she was the manager. We wanted some lottery tickets, but I wasn't sure if we needed cash. While she was printing the tickets, we talked about our experience at the resteraunt up the street. We had her rolling. Very nice experience. The store was clean and stocked.

I don't like to leave bad reviews but where does it stop. Went to pick up Parmesan Cheese for dinner. Parmesan Cheese.... My husband picks the container up and it's orange. Went out of date January of 2024..... This set me off.For years now I have reported from bad produce to spoiled meat. Manager even offered to pay me for my trouble but I did not want to just throw out a number. You go to the meat department and they have brown slimy meat marked down, Manager's Special. Folks this meat is ruined. The hams with the seal broken they mark down,,,, air seal is broken and it spoiled. I worked in Meat Department 10 plus years. You don't sale items that could make people sick. I took back some chicken one day and the front end manager got smart with me because I didn't have my receipt and she had to smell it to scan it. Like I enjoyed opening it at home or the ride back to the store with it. Y'all can do better. You have some great employees and some lazy ones. But regardless, if it's bad throw it out. Don't make a dime on the poor or ones that don't know it's bad. Stop getting pissy with people when they return the stores mistakes. Walk the store from time to time. Check the departments.... If I can find things on weekly basis, surly management can being in the store daily. If this offends anyone,,,, I'm offended myself.

Not a very big selection, especially not for healthy choices. I've never been to other Food Lion so can't compare to that, but it makes me really miss Publix! Actually more expensive than Publix too which surprised me. Don't have sales circulars very often. Online ordering goes through instacart, which costs more, so it's hard to do pick up orders. Parking lot is very frustrating and stressful, they need to make arrows and make each row one way. Very confusing and dangerous.

I went there today and needed to use their Coinstar location. I have a son with special needs who has a hard time in busy locations Francis along time employee at the Santee. Food Lion helped me without me asking just did it. She is amazing and deserves a massive raise. We love Francis The other employees were very kind as well

Clean and updated food lion. Fast and friendly service. Nice deli. Great produce. Better than usual wine selection with stand out wines on the end for gifts. Hot wing bar.

I like the self check out option. After work there was such a line in the lanes you had to esit a while. Worker are very helpful.

A good place to get groceries, or for a quick stop to grab a few things while traveling. The store is big enough to carry most any standard groceries, while not overwhelming you with 25 choices for peanut butter. The staff members are friendly and helpful. This was our first experience with Food Lion, and it went well.

Wife and i,were there yesterday Aug 1 we used our ucard we had stuff that card didn't cover cashier was super nice and understanding about everything she help us out and store Mgr. Mr Tony came over and help cashier Mrs Linda they reed did our order to what was cover and not. We want to give Mr Tony Mgr. And Mrs Linda for all there help to us they went beyond to help us thnk yall for everything.

Food was fresh, store was clean and well organized. The bakery section however needs work, the cake does not taste good. They need to find out who made the Bi-Lo cakes and get them, that cake was excellent.

Very well stocked store with pretty extensive inventory. Prices are pretty good as well. Food Lion is a great asset to have in a very rural area. Employees are nice also. However, a few of them, some cashiers, need training on properly wearing face masks. Wearing a mask below their nostrils is useless and will not protect them, their co-workers or the store's customers.

Store was clean, shelves stocked and tidy. Some prices seemed a bit high, but not bad for a small town. Pleasantly surprised as many food lions I've gone into were smelly and dirty. This manager should be congratulated!

Store is poorly stocked most of the time. Do not have some things on shelves for weeks at a time. Bought graham crackers that had just been stocked after weeks of not having any and they were so stale I couldn't eat them. IGA is looking better all the time.

Clean cut and wonderful service. AND I did not know that Food Lion has ties with Hannaford which is the local grocery store in my home state of Maine. You learn something new while traveling. A little bit pricier then what I am used to up north but it's a nice grocery store

Local Santee grocery store. First: employees posted at the entrance with cleaning supplies for you and your cart. Employees friendly, and helpful. We picked up a number of items not available at wally world. The prices are higher but the drive is shorter so it's your call. The store is clean and well stocked considering the times.

OK , compared to other Food Lions. The chicken and pork shelves were closed for cleaning. I live here at the lake and tourist traffic cleans out everything pretty quick.I would like a better Seafood selection.
