Rock Hill Pet Supermarket has everything it needs to provide all the solutions for any regular pet. Y'all crocodile owners might be out of luck, however, the most valuable part of this store isn't all the food selections, feeder mice, bath stations, or the pet care options. It is all about the problem solving, friendly staff who make your day better from the moment you walk onto their inevitably cheerful greeting until they're sincere thank you for your visit, even if you don't purchase that day. Love, love, love, love these folks.

Great place if your into aquariums or aqua scaping. They have a wide variety of healthy fish and plants. They have excellent service as well! Every one is very knowledgeable.

I usually love coming and bringing my fur babies here however, tonight around 6:40 we brought our birthday girl to pick out some toys, treats and bath. As we were paying for the bath, a male team member (Allen, Alvin?) who wasn’t even apart of the transaction came over and made a comment along the lines of “are you a sure you’re gonna be done before 8?). The last time I checked this location closed at 8pm and I am the last person to keep someone late for my own selfish reason. I am extremely hesitant to support this business if this is how they treat a regular customer.

Rudest people ever. The girl with the glasses and curly hair is extremely rude with costumers. Me and my friend went in and my friend asked her a question THREE TIMES, just for the three workers in the store to ignore her and continue to crack jokes and whisper in front of us. The manager (who seems to be nice when he isn’t around the two ladies) was EXTREMELY rude, and had the nerve to spray febreeze at us and insinuate we smell when they literally work at a PET STORE.

This store is a great place to find what you need for your pets! They have high quality products and a very welcoming staff. This location takes pride in their products and animals. I refuse to go to other stores due to poor quality.

My wife and I found a cat and instantly bonded with her. We visited her 2 days and really wanted to adopt her, had 2 other cats at home and everything else she needed to have a good home. Unfortunately we were visiting family and weren’t able to take her home just yet. The manager gave us a great option to try and sort things out saying he’d hold the cat 1 more day for us to figure out something, only for us to figure out something and be told “sorry it didn’t work out” because they sold her 15 minutes before we got there. Which wouldn’t have been an issue BUT they still had her ON HOLD for another ~2 hours. My wife was so excited when she found a place to board the cat that had amazing reviews. Only to find out the cat that was promised to be put on hold was gone, so if you really want to adopt be prepared to take them that day at that time because they DONT hold up to their reservations and will say whatever they need to, to make you go away. P.s they didn’t even bother calling to check despite having her number. AND one of their “concerns” was how they kept the cats (they are kept in a hamster style cage but bigger with three levels) if they were really concerned they would have a better enclosure.

I came to this pet store because I was looking for my son a cage for his dog. Their prices was the only one I saw that was pretty reasonable. They have great customer service and even the assistant manager loaded my cage in the car for me. I recommend this store for anyone who is looking for reasonable prices on pet products.

Very affordable pet store with friendly and somewhat knowledgeable staff to get all your pet and pet supplies. Update-11-22-19 I'm very disappointed! Over the course of about a month I've spent around $400-$500 on fish and supplies. I have a 150 gallon aquarium and a 1500 gallon koi pond and I monitor my water quality and balance it out on a regular basis. I had 1 fish die on me! And that really surprised me because I haven't lost any fish in years! I put it in a zip lock bag and returned to the store. It was a black popeyed goldfish that didn't cost but about $5 and the lady working at the register didn't acknowledge me and wouldn't swap out my fish for a replacement because I didnt include a water sample when i brought back the fish! It was the principal and customer service that set me off! So be aware if you buy fish folks!

This was the first time I had been to this pet store. I didn't even know it was here. So it's 2 days before Christmas and Mark had seen a cat stand on sale for like $60 at Pet Smart for our precious kitty Sugar! So he comes home and tells me about it. Says Sugar would love it. I said well why didn't you get it. So we go the next day and they were completely sold out of all of there stands. Not one was left. I was upset because we have been wanting to get her one so bad. So I said I will find one somewhere else. So I search pet store near me and boom Pet Supermarket pulled right up and it was alot closer to my house to. So we go and they have a bunch of nice stuff for all kinds of animals. Hint the supermarket part....lol we look around and they have a bunch of cat stands. Not as tall as the one we wanted but a better built one. And of course it was not on sale but I was buying it anyways. So $100 later I come home with a cat stand for Sugar and she loves it. It was probably the best $100 I spent at Christmas time. It's sturdy, it's very soft, it's not to short or to tall. It has the perfect amount of levels and holes and scratch poles. I definitely recommend Per Supermarket to any pet lovers or there. They have Everything. It's like a Harris teeter for pets. Here's a couple pictures of my Sugar and her new stand.

First time visiting this store. My dog Hoss, loved his bath and all of the attention he received from the employees. We both had a fantastic experience! I found the staff to be friendly and helpful and so welcoming to their customers. Bath stations were very nice and clean. Large variety of toys and hard to find treats at reasonable prices. This place is awesome!!

Customer service has gone downhill here. They send you a coupon in the mail and you can barely use it. Read the fine print they say. Not everything is discounted with a store coupon? The manager was not helpful, actually looked annoyed while helping me. Staff clearly does not know how to deal with customers. Very disappointed with them. And I spent a lot of money there.

By far the best store for pets I've been to around here. The staff was wonderful, going out of their way to get to know my dog to help us. Their selection of caged and aquatic animals looked happy and healthy, including some amazing baby bearded dragons. Pets are allowed in the store and they have a very nice station to wash your pet.

I don't usually write reviews, but they really do a great job here! The staff is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and service is quick. I mostly started going here for my fish hobby as I had bad experiences with other chain stores. The fish tanks here are well maintained, and all of the staff were helpful and answered my questions. They also have everything I could need and more for my cat. It may be a little more expensive than other pet stores, but I would rather spend a couple more dollars just for the superior customer service. The people here really care about the well-being of your pets, I will never go to another pet store again!

I go here because they sell both guppies and crickets. Everything that is sold here is overpriced; I pay less at any other pet store. I often have to find someone to get crickets and guppies for me and I almost always have to wait in line. The people who work here are nice.

Store is really well maintained, clean and organized; the animals there seem happy and really well cared for, and they partner with local rescues for cats they have up for adoption. They have lots of more specialty type items for pets, and a few luxury goods too if you're looking for a $400 doggy couch! It's a cute spot and has friendly staff, and is also equipped with a dog washing station. Love it!

I love this place and so does my puppy. All of the staff has been friendly and extremely helpful - so kind in providing tips to help me as a first time dog owner as well as helping me use things like the self-service washing station and my puppy enjoys the attentiont hey shower on her. One overlooked thing about the store that I absolutely love is that the layout is extremely open and inviting. It's very bright and warm inside, something that their competitors could learn from. Also, this place has a lot of unique and niche products that I can't really get without ordering online.There are a few pet stores closer to me, but I know that making the trek from Fort Mill will always be worth it, both for me and my pup!

Very clean store, conveniently placed on Cherry Rd. They even offer basic vaccine services and self pet bathing options. The prices were more reasonable than I thought. Also, their point of sale is awesome because I had paid with cash and registered my phone number. When I returned an item without receipt, they were able to look up my phone number and the process was easy.Visited again to give my dog a bath. There was a line since we came on a Saturday, but the staff was upfront about the wait and got us when it was our turn. They had run out of towels, so I suggest you bring your own just in case. To me, it was worth the $10 because they provided shampoo, leash holders while the dog is in the bath, a nice nozzle spray house with controllable pressure, and a dryer. There are 3 baths but only 2 dryers, so try to get the one on the sides. Maybe, they can install a 3rd one and keep it moving. All in all, always an amazing experience, vibrant staff, and pretty good selection of pets that you can look at while you wait! Highly recommended. Plus, it's next door to STARBUCKS! YES!

My boyfriend and I came here to pick up some ghost shrimp and feeder fish for our tank and after the employee Samantha bagged them up they immediately started dying and so we asked for a new bag and she caught a nasty attitude and was being basically a terrible employee. me personally wouldn’t want someone like that working in my store. she was acting like a child talking mess to her coworkers. If you can’t do your simple job without catching an attitude, stay home. Honestly wouldn’t come back if she is still there.
