Giving 3 stars because my family and I have had 2 great visits prior to the one today.Today we ordered one mixed berry cobbler to share. We took 2 spoonfuls each and uncovered a long blonde hair in the ice cream. It was handled well when I brought it back…but that disturbed my spirit.

We’ve been going here for years and usually enjoy our treats. My last experience was less than great. My family and I usually get the same things each time we visit. This time my strawberry milkshake tasted different and was too sweet. It is not strawberry ice cream but vanilla ice cream with strawberry mixed in. I don’t know if the strawberries were not fresh and they added sweetener of some type but it was not good. I couldn’t finish it. Also my husbands sundae was spilling over so I ask the girl for a lid. She put on the lid and made the sundae spill all over. As you can see from the photo she didn’t take the time to wipe up her mess. I’m hopeful this is a one time thing and our next trip will be back to par.

I hate to leave these reviews and I love giving 5 stars. But P W’s didn’t do us right on our milkshakes. I wish you could add video. And I should have turned around and took it back. But it was literally milk and peaches. I love local ice cream places. You have to look out for the people though. Maybe an SOP would help? Some standard for what to give to a customer and what not. Disappointed this time around.

The absolute best ice cream there is in our area. I’ve been coming here since my daughter was a kid and she’s now 29. We still come here for birthdays. I even bring my fur baby for pup cups. I highly recommend them to family and friends. They have great service and are family oriented. I love it and will continue to visit as long as they are here.

Great experience! The owner was so amazing and friendly. Only having lived here a few months, he made us feel like we’ve been a part of the community forever! We got the strawberry banana mix and the mint chocolate and they were great. Too bad I couldn’t finish it all because i had just ate dinner! Glad to be able to support a local business 😊

Always go to PWs. Like the children’s concretes and flavors. Only wish, whom ever is preparing them would thoroughly mix the flavor into the ice cream so it may be enjoyed all the way to the bottom of the cup. Not just the top one third.

Took my wife and she got a concrete which looked great. I, on the other hand, got a 2 scoop hot fudge sundae in a small plastic cup. There was hardly any ice cream in the sundae and it was covered up by lots of whipped cream. Considering the $6+ price I expected a little more than 5 bites of ice cream. I will not be going back to PW's. This is the second time this happened. Thought the first time was a fluke but I guess that's just how they make money now.

I usually love their ice cream. I always get their specials but today we ordered the berry cobbler. It just did not have enough ice cream. It was mostly berries and whipped cream, very disappointing. If I had stayed to eat, I would have asked for more ice cream. Next time.

One of the best Ice Cream Shops in town.My absolute favorites are the Cherry Pie Milkshake/concrete as well as their Pecan ice cream/milkshakes🍨Not a full 5 stars because some of the milkshakes taste more of vanilla and don't pack a punch of the flavor ordered such as keylime pie, banana, and Marshmellow.I'm still supportive and happy with the first mentioned. 😋🍨

Usually end up here several times a week. Very nice staff. Very convenient since they have a drive through. My son loves their strawberry ice-cream and will only have it from here. They have a huge variety of sweet treats to pick from but the homemade waffle cones are hands down the best in town.

Me and my family love going to PW’s and have never had a problem. But on this particular occasion I was not pleased with the customer service. I asked for a vanilla concrete with caramel on top and when I received it my ice cream looked half full and almost completely melted. We ordered a second concrete and it didn’t look anything like mine. When I spoke with the Owner he was rude and wasn’t trying to exchange it. As someone who works in the food industry as well, I knew my request wasn’t extreme or out of the ordinary and genuinely just wanted non melted ice cream. Instead of offering to replace or refund my ice cream, he told me I would have pay for another one. After going back and forth He eventually did replace the ice cream, but I was very disappointed that the customer service was lacking. I personally don’t think I should have went through all that.

Best ice cream in York county hands-down people. I love bringing my kids here every week because the customer service and of course the ice cream is so good. It’s become our family tradition and my son loves the mint chocolate chip. I love getting an Oreo mixed with peanut butter concrete myself, but to each their own. Thank you guys for having such a wonderful family owned store we can support. Really appreciate all the energy you guys pour into it. Thank you again.
