Worst 1st time experience in this store. They clearly need more staff. Came in 06 Nov at 11:35am to get 2 items. Register 1 was open but staff was assisting a customer with batteries near the check out counter. A line formed with 4 people who all had less than 4 items each. She proceeded to stock shelves and turned her back on the line of people as she worked behind the counter. She ignored us for about 4 mins until I announced that we were waiting for assistance. Store is tiny and rarely had any items available. Needs more organization.

Products in boxes blocking the aisles. The aisles are not wide enough and boxes at the end are in the way. The staff was very friendly, but the store itself needs a makeover. I recommend bringing in more staff to stock the shelves so the aisles aren't blocked and to reduce customer fall hazards.

There are never enough employees to check customers out when they are busy. The manager always disappears and pretends she stocking and such and doesn't help the cashier. On my last visit I left my purchase due to the long slow line and went to DG in Monetta.

The Dollar General is well stocked and clean. It's the only DG in this general area that has sanitizer at the front door for customers to use.80% of the staff has been pleasant and helpful but I went there the other evening (night staff) to pick up a few things for the household I am living in. One of the items was bottled water. It was for everyone including a lady that has been sent home to die. She can only have liquids, mostly water. There was no water of any description on the shelves. I went to one of the staff members who turned out to be the night manager and asked her if they had any water in the back. She answered yes but they could not get me any from the stock room. I explained the situation at my home with the sick lady and could she make an exception. She replied no. So then I asked her when would they stock the water the next day. She told me she had no idea as to when the item would be on the shelves. She said she had no idea when even if it would be the next day. Well I finally gave up and took my items to the ck out. Another lady at ck out did tell me of a service station a few blocks down the street where she thought I could get water but if the manager said she could not get anything out of the stock room then she was very sorry but she couldn't get me any water. I thanked her paid for my things and left. Luckily for my dying friend and everyone else in the house the service station had plenty of water although the price was higher and it was an inconvenience for me. Not to mention DG lost a sale that night and probably many more from me. I will say again this was one instance from one person at one DG store. I have never had this happen at any other DG. So instead of DG getting a 5 star rating they get a 3 star.

The staff and store manger were very helpful and professionally nice. The store was organized and well stocked. Other Dollar Generals should strive to example they present.

The associates are friendly and quick. But need to check the foods because a number of meats and other foods are expired currently. Just left from there earlier and today is may 13 and there was breakfast sausage that was dated for may 6th. But leesville dollar general has that problem too.

I won't ever go back employees very discremated, I listened to casher talk about her life story for 20 min's to another customer holding up the line, after 20 min's I said about time she got mad and called the Aiken Sheriff's Dept on me, I waited for them and the sheriff and I had a nice talk about the situation. I had avg spent hundreds of dollars in that store but not anymore, I'll go to Walmart in Batesburg first, but I'll never take one step in any dollar generals anywhere!!! Some of their employees they hire are the lowest forms of life, also they come to work sick with the flu spreading it to customers, Advice when your working with the public and your sick, stay home plain nasty!

The lady behind the counter are super nice and always is can't remember her name my name is getting close to closing time. It's nice to go in there when she's working because she's so pleasant.

A shame to have a DG in Ridge Spring when nothing is ever in stock. We barely have stores in R.S. you would think the store would stay stocked to stay in business.
