This place is great! I love that they welcome people to come and enjoy farm life at their events . I think it would be great to stay at the bed and breakfast sometime. I really enjoy the music on the farm Friday nights!

We had such a fun day on the farm with the grandkids! There were balloons, tractor and horse pulled rides, pumpkins, candy apples, boiled peanuts, animals, pony ride, music, bouncy house, just so much to do and eat. Fun for the whole family. We spent most the day there.

A fabulous place to visit! Family Farm Day, Ag as Art Tour, and Touch a Tractor are all great events for kids and animal lovers. They also serve a great lunch. Their jams, jellies, and frozen meals are excellent.

We got to spend Christmas at the farm this year. The owner Kathy is amazing! She made sure we were comfortable and having a great time! The farmhouse is a bed n breakfast. All the rooms have a different view of the farm. It's so warm and inviting! I loved getting to feed the lambs in the mornings, and collecting the eggs in the chicken coop ❤ I'm a animal lover and this place is heaven for me! They have chickens, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, bunnies and the sweetest dogs and cats you have ever seen! I could of taken them all home with me lolThey have a country store filled with farm made items like fresh eggs, meats, frozen country meals, honey, canned goods and of course nice warm wool blankets! It's such a magical and beautiful place! Once you're there you forget about the stress of the world. It's hard to leave. I can't wait to go back again in the spring to see all the babies!

My sister and I loved staying at Cathy and Lee’s wonderful B&B. The beds were wonderful, breakfast was perfect and we loved hearing all about the farm and animals. My sister bought a beautiful blanket for her soon-to-be born great granddaughter in the farm store. Cathy and Lee were just the best!!

Was our first time and it was the best time we have had in a long time! We will be back. The kids loved the blacksmith, my daughter got a beautiful leaf necklace and my son helped make his own personalized railroad tie knife. Was truly an amazing experience.

We visited this place today and it was a fantastic farm. Their are animals and activities for younger kids. A small store. A petting zoo. Some fun demonstrations such as wood working and dog retrieving. There is a pumpkin patch and corn hole to play and explore. This is a fantastic family farm and a gorgeous bed and breakfast. Take your time to explore and let the kids run around and see the horses, sheep, goats, and chickens. Fantastic fall fun for all ages.

Really enjoyed my time with my family here. Can't wait to go back in warmer weather. I am also planning to try out their bed and breakfast. Would love to awake, walk out on the balcony, and set across from the pond having my breakfast with my husband. They also have a nice little store. Haven't bought anything yet, but a will on my next trip.

We were on our way to the beach to go camping and the kids asked if we could pickup pumpkins for the campsite. Google maps said this was the closest pumpkin patch so we made a quick detour. Very glad we did as the kids had a great break from the road picking out pumpkins and seeing the animals. Beautiful farm, 8 minutes off the interstate off a nice paved road. Highly recommend a stop.

My husband & I were desperately in need of respite when we happened upon this establishment on Google. Because I am not from SC & my husband is a native, we've confined our recent travels within the borders of the state in an effort to show me more of SC. I cannot tell you what a find this place is. Firstly, we came in on a Friday (2/12/2021) -- a day on which their daughter, who is a culinary wunderkind, offers a hot, fresh weekly lunch. We skipped breakfast in anticipation of this meal based on previous reviews -- we were not disappointed. The BBQ plates were amazing & because we reserved plates in advance, we checked-in & immediately sated our appetites. Next, COVID has had a harmful impact on small business. We happened to be the only patrons on the property this weekend. But, we consider ourselves lucky, as the property is well appointed & very serene. My husband, being a farmer himself, was stricken by how well the farm & its appendant businesses are run. There are so many things to praise that I'm sure I'll run out of characters. Know this: The owners are affable & considerate. The goods sold at the on-site store are delicious & crafted from animals on this farm. Do have a Friday afternoon lunch. And know that if you book a stay, the breakfast was just what we needed. The bed was comfortable & slept well -- we are buying the very mattress we slept on here to hopefully replicate the great night's rest we experienced here. Amenities are provided that speak to any need -- from forgetting shampoo to the unforeseen headache. Their personal animals are as friendly & welcoming as the owners are. Lastly, if you're wondering whether we would stay here again -- we've already reserved a stay for our anniversary in May & we anticipate spending time here regularly. Get thee to Old McCaskill Farm!

I grew up on a small dairy farm, and I have loved bringing friends and relatives here to enjoy Ashley's Friday lunches, which are just delicious. This is a very special place, and it brings back happy memories of my childhood with each visit. The farm is just beautiful, and everyone is so kind and friendly.

We had a great time camping at the farm this weekend. Our Cub Scout pack had 18 campers and were greeted with a souther smile from Kathy. She was a great host, showing us the working on the farm and allowing our boys to get a little taste of farm life.We will definitely be back!!Make sure to try the Blackberry Lemonade Jam!!

We stayed at the bed and breakfast for two nights before the Solar Eclipse. The hosts Kathy and Lee were great. Kathy made a farm fresh breakfast every morning. The house is very nice and full of antiques. The room we slept in was the paddock room and my parents slept across the hall in the fox swamp room. There was plenty of things to do around the farm to keep my 8 year old son occupied, from feeding the lamb in the morning to roaming the property at night. We had a blast!

My cousin got married here over the weekend. Being a part of the bridal party I had lots of time to take in and really appreciate the details of the house. There’s so much to look at! It’s like you’re in a different world. The farm is beautiful. We had such a great time here. The owner was so kind! She made us feel so welcome! I look forward to going there again!

My kids went here on a field trip. They had a great time, and the information was comprehensive. They were thrilled to be able to hold and pet some of the animals. The store is well stocked.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the farm. The McCaskill's are warm and welcoming. Mrs McCaskill (Kathy) greeted us on arrival and advised on the best place to park in the sheep pasture. So very peaceful. We were there on a Friday so we were able to partake in the Friday lunch buffet. Food was delicious and we were able to meet some very friendly local folk. Everyone made us feel so welcome. We also picked up a few freezer meals at the store for later in our trip. If they are as good as the buffet we will certainly be enjoying them.

We stayed for a one night getaway. Very peaceful, we loved being on a working farm. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine watching the animals, sitting by the fire at night was very relaxing. Cathy and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. Awesome Sunday breakfast, farm to table. We hope to go back again soon

In all honesty the setup is a little confusing. I wish there were more signs or directons on parking. Where to eat. It's just show up and figure it out. But they have really great buildings and adorable animals. And supporting your local farm is amazing.
