10/13/2022- I just moved here about 6 months ago. This is the closest store to me, so I am a regular. Giving honor where honor is due: Everytime I have been to this store, it is so neatly stocked and clean. The parking lot is always clear and free of debris, shopping carts, and Rolltainers. The staff is kind and very attentive to the register between tasks while maintaining that good customer service spirit. It's as close to a commercial as you can get in real life. It is something to recognize in times like this.. As a former Dollar General ASM who has worked at multiple stores, I know what these folks are facing to keep up with the demand. Consistency is key, and all of the staff here is on board! This really is a beautifully functioning store. Keep up the great work!!!! Everyone working and shopping there has a store to be proud of. 👏

just your typical dollar general, nothing too memorable. it's one of the larger ones, so it's got a pretty decent selection. staff was not unfriendly. the single entrance to the store is however extremely easy to miss, and isnt positioned in a way that makes it very obvious that it is an entrance to their parking lot... otherwise, it's what you expect pretty much.

I wish I would have remembered her name. I think it was Monica or at least started with a “M”. But she had excellent customer service and helped me blow up some balloons I purchased my God daughter’s bday.This lady deserves a raise asap!!

Still amazes me how far Dollar General has come in recent years. Used to be, we went there for cleaning and paper supplies but now they are becoming the 'little grocery store down on the corner'. Most service areas that do not have a major grocery neart and can compete, or even best, their prices! They are also being kept up and cleaner than most discount stores. This one lived up to the 'new' expectation I've formed of them. Store was conveniently located, clean and well organized and prices were lower than had I gone to a grocery. Staff wad also friendly and helpful and greeted us upon entry.

This location is in Sumter, off of route 521. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store has plenty of products to choose from and shelves are fully stocked. Good customer service is noticeable as well. I visited this location before and will be back, make it your business to stop by!

I went in to get a drink and the credit card machine was not working properly. The manager promptly came up and told me to go ahead and go since the machine wasn’t working.I consider that excellent customer service to not allow her machine interfere with my morning. Top notch, and I thank you for it :)

Let me tell you about the Rembert south Carolina dollar general. The staff is the friendliest most knowledgeable and hard working I believe out of the company. This is a long review but they definitely deserve it. I moved to Rembert a few months ago and this is the only real store within miles. First time I walked into the store I was greeted and asked if I needed anything. At that point I did not. As I waited in line I watched as one of young ladies helped an older man set his phone card up taking her time to explain everything in detail. Shows how knowledgeable she was about her products. The next time I came in greeted and as I walked the store the cashier started to greet customers by name. The staff was diligently working on the truck that came in but did not hesitate to stop and help customers. Another trip Wich is the reason I'm writing this, an older man was at the register with I think ibuprofen and Charmin the cashier remembered seeing a coupon online via dollar general for the medicine showed the man how to get the coupons saved him three dollars again the knowledge and customer service of this store is phenomenal. A recent trip me the new face had about 40 dollars worth of groceries as I got to the register the cashier remembering my face asked if I had my last receipt. Luckily I did in my truck because it had a five dollar coupon code on it. I have been in retail management for 13 years and this store and it staff is absolutely everything I look for in associates. Customer service knowledge of the products and systems drive and hard work. If I could steal this staff and put them in my store I would but then who would run my dollar general. If it was me I'd send the management and staff from the Columbia dollar generals to train at this store. They could definitely learn a few things. Thanks for your time and if you are ever in Rembert make sure you stop in you will not be dissatisfied.

The folks at the Dollar General in Rembert South Carolina are always very nice. They could, however, do a little clean up on the parking lot, it looks really dirty and sad.
