I went to Cordray’s to fry on the list for a half cow so we (my family) can eat meat that we know were it came from, who raised it, and what it was raised on. I was lucky to walk in and the invoice for a half cow for sale was sitting on the counter waiting for someone to buy. I am so happy with this purchase and will be buying this beef from Codrays as long as I can until I die. It’s the best steak and hamburger meat I’ve eaten at home. I bought a quarter and my uncle got a quarter. Getting away from all the poison that these big companies are putting in our food to make more money and it’s worse now more then ever and I don’t want my kids having health problems which is a high probability as long as we are eating from a grocery store. Eat local raised meat if you can..

Well it’s official. I’m done here. First try again in years. So rude always. You should feel privileged that you are allowed to spend $ there. Brought in a field dressed doe, charged $90 to skin and “ process” deer. Total bill $175 for a 90 pound doe. 10 snack stick, rest all burger. And again left with a bad taste in my mouth from all the rude comments. I also had a shoulder mount done 5 years ago. $500. Worst anyone has ever seen. I’d post a pic of mount, but I don’t want to hurt their feelings to bad. Triangle of stitches behind the back of head the size of a tennis ball. Eyes are bulging. Someone please open another processor on this side of town. Meanwhile, go to great outdoors in Bowman. Their product smokes these people. Cheaper, friendly, and WAY better. Taxidermy is amazing as well.

I recently took a wood duck there to be mounted. I was told it could take up to six months to process which is fair enough, dropping a bird off mid season. They finished the bird in two months and it's absolutely stunning.On top of that we were impressed with their cattle operation. I grew up eating local grass fed beef from a friend's farm in Kentucky and I missed it once I moved to SC. My wife and I purchased an 1/8th share of Cordray beef and we couldn't be happier. Clean and intensely flavored product.We will be long time customers for sure.

I have been going to Cordray's for about three years now. There are closer processors near me, but I would rather drive the extra distance to give them my business because of the exceptional quality and service they provide. It is about ten miles extra to get there! I will continue going to them as long as I can hunt and highly recommend them to everyone. Special thanks to Michael and Claudette. Thank guys for being there when I've needed you and for making my grandson's first experience extra special.LynLet's hope I'll have a gator for you to process later this year.

Every time I go I feel almost part of the family . The Best packaging of my dear or pig in Charleston. I’ve been to a few places in South Carolina but haven’t received the quality or friendliness that Cordray offers. I even bring my meat back from other places just so they’ll process it for me .

OMG, these people were so rude. They treat you like they are doing you a favor when you take your deer to them. The old phrase "the customer is always right" hasn't reached them yet. I could care less how good of a job they do, I would never give these people my business.

By far the best deer processing anywhere. I travel 3 hours roundtrip, and it's worth every minute. The cleanest facility that gives you back your own meat. The packaging is second to none. And best of all, they are the nicest and most knowledgable people you will meet anywhere.

It's been several hours since my stop there, so I have had time to think. I brought a deer gifted to me by one of my patients. I was initially told that they close at 6pm by a staff member even though the sign says 9pm.Now they were polite enough to see me and I do value that, but I was told the deer was too dirty to process. Granted, I have no knowledge of hunting and don't pretend to, but I was given this by someone that genuinely wanted to give me a gift. I was given to other option or course of action other than give it back. I was told to look at the deer before someone gives it to me as if I am supposed to know what to look for, and I am now sitting on a 125 pound deer sitting in my Toyota Camry in a cooler... Did I mention I have no experience.I just would have liked some sort of advice other than, "give it back, it's bad, you are stupid." Also, to not be rushed out the door when your hours are clearly posted as 9-9pm.

I've used Cordray's for 15+ years. I would encourage anyone in the area to compare Cordray's with other facilities. The facility is always very clean. I've seen the "business end" on occasion where they dress and butcher the game and it has always been just as tight as the front of the house. This is important to me as my family and I consume the products on a regular basis.I have seen many game processing facilities that are suspect. If the office or the "front of the house" is dirty and disorganized, I can only image what goes on in the back. This is NOT that Case with Cordray's.At Cordray's you get your own deer back. This is another key service. Some processing facilities throw all the meat for the day in a grinder and you have no idea how the other animals were handled from the time they were harvested, until they arrived at the processing facility (did they sit in the back of a pick-up all day? did they not find the deer until a day later?).Cordray's "specialty" products are second to none. Jerky, summer sausage, snack sticks, etc...are all top quality. Just a few days ago, an out of state friend said , and I quote : "I wish my processor could make summer sausage this good"...true story.In addition, Cordray's offers fresh pork, beef, and even buffalo products. Try the "Cordray Brother's Gold" pork breakfast sausage...epic.Cordray's has also done excellent taxidermy work me in the past and I recommend Kenneth to anyone who asks.The employees at Cordary's are knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant.Michael, Claudia, and Kenneth are good folks to do business with and I highly recommend Cordray's. .

If you have the time to invest in all the treestands, ATV's guns etc.. and to enjoy your life and hunt, why not doing the same for the game you harvest, Mr Michael and Kenneth and staff do and outstanding job of processing your good quality deer and making the best out of it hands down!! I have used these people for many years. People always ask who processes your venison.Nobody comes close! It is a family run operation and it shows.From the time you back your truck in,till it is hanging in the cooler is a matter of minutes.You never see people just standing around,it is all moving at a fast pace.

Never had a Bad Experience and I've been using Cordrays since the late 80's early 90's . The Cordray's Family is always striving to Perfect their business with New Meat Ideas and Taxidermy, Which must be hard to do because I don't know how you can Perfect something thats already Perfect !!
