It's always a pleasure, it's like visiting family once you've been there a couple of times they get to know you. You have to take note of when their produce is delivered because when they first get their grapes they are amazing. Best to sign up for the loyalty card because with prices the way that they are at the moment you can save $30 to $50 on a week's grocery shopping

Used store shopper and picked up. The store let me know early when I could pick up early, and groceries were delivered promptly to my car on arrival by a very courteous store associate. I love using Food Lion.

I shop here frequently as it's close to the house. Many of the staff know me by name and always greet me warmly. They are quick to help when you need a hand. Store is laid out well and is well maintained.

Never have had any issues out of any of the foodlion stores other then just managers saying stuff that feel irrelevant but that just my opinion and don't really matter because they say it to other people not me.

Be careful with this employee if you are Hispanic, this white woman with long white hair with face of hate, answered me that the item is not available after I asked, she did not even go to check when I found the item myself, but was rude when she told me that my bird that I bring everywhere had to be out of the store. This lady saw me a couple of times in the store and never said anything and made me had a hard moment the way she said it to me. I noticed in her complete discrimination against hispanics. People like that should not be dealing with customers. I was humiliated in that store. I do not recommend it at all. I Hope they take action in this situation.

Normally I love everything about this place and the delivery service. Last week was the only bad experience I've had. Very rude, impatient cashier that didn't bag my groceries properly. Tearing bags, putting bread in with hard items. Ignored me to help the next customer before he would give me another couple bags so I could fix what he had done. I love this store but I will never get in his line again and I will just leave my cart if he's the only cashier. The Sunday delivery driver lady I usually get is an absolute gem and I'd rather pay her.

Always have a good experience shopping at this store. The service is good and they have good deals weekly. Although food prices are on the rise, I usually can find some pretty good deals at this store.

I always shop at foodlion. It's fairly close to my house and all staff are nice. I have never had any issues but twice this month I have purchased expired meat. First time was two packs of hamburger meat that was 9 days past sale by date. I was cooking dinner and opened the meat and it smelled horrible. Today I bought a 16 oz pack of Oscar Mayer Turkey breast that expired on September 7th which was 11 days ago. I had no problem returning the HB meat and getting more to finish dinner. I guess I really need to start looking at dates on everything I buy from foodlion. I may just stop buying meat from them altogether.

Food Lion to good for service received. Instead of offering to help load numerous bags in cart, two young check out guys laughed and cussed up a good Ole time. Mgr. was not in but advised assistant. Probably fell on deaf ears. Crazy times.

This is the worst food Lion I have ever visited. Your lack of cashiers is extremely frustrating and I won't be back. Management needs to be out there helping when they see lines that are five and six people deep. Tired of hearing you don't have enough employees. Just do what everybody else does and open self-checkout. They try to say that they can't find employees to work there but I know that's not true this is an overseas company that owns food Lion now and they don't want to come out of pocket to pay more cashiers to work. I know this because my family member work for food Lion and quit for that reason. They hire people but won't give them any hours.

Friendly neighborhood grocery store that’s always well maintained. However, they’ve struggled to keep merchandise in stock since the pandemic, so selection can be vary limited at times. Could have done without the whole store reorganization project a few months back. Overall, a pleasant experience most times.

Everything is always clean and in stock at this Food Lion it's really a very pleasant experience all the way around. I would like to see some lower priced items though it's very expensive to shop here and we're often stuck going to the bargain stores instead. Overall though we absolutely love the store it's not their fault for the prices. The customer service is very good the parking lot is safe and clean and the store is always clean too.

Nov 22: Can't make this stuff up. This place was packed. I literally stood in line for about 15 minutes before I get to put all my items on the conveyor belt. The young cashier (name witheld) finishes ringing up the customer in front of me and then looks at me and asked if I could move to another line. She said she had to go on break or she would get in trouble. I looked at her and was like "seriously"? I could tell she was very very uncomfortable telling me that and I guess I could have asked for a manager and had the manager stay and ring me up... but, she would have probably got in more trouble, poor kid. I just told her how to handle it next time... turn off your light and tell anyone that gets in line that the lane is closed, etc. Hey Food Lion managers, train your cashiers so I don't have to. Just saying 😌Sep 22:Mostly awesome, but bought some really bad smelling ribs from them a couple of days ago. Had to throw them all out. 4 racks. No, didn't go ask for a refund. Probably should have though.

This is a great grocery store. They work extremely hard to keep it stocked with all staples and fresh non frozen items. The store is visibly very clean and staff are actively keeping it that way. Melissa, a cashier working right on the front line, is an example of an outstanding employee that would be a valuable asset to any company. She is extremely efficient, proficient and courteous to everyone she encounters. Staff like her top off a good visit to this store.

This was a fabulous store, and I was thrilled that it was available when we moved closer a couple of months ago.Well today I am at work and need to get batteries for temperature scans on all incoming employees and brown paper bags in which masks will be stored over the shift. I tried to purchase 11 sets of bags ( enough to cover all shifts through Monday morning ) and two sets of batteries for scanning.Oh no, there is a max of 2 on all items. I am like okay there are no signs... manager pipes back with “there are signs all over the store”... well I am here to tell you there were none in batteries or picnic supplies. I asked why not on doors coming in and she is like can’t put signs on those doors.I get it that some people are hoarding. I was trying to use... don’t worry I won’t be back. And I get it that grocery store employees are having a hard time right now (my sister is customer service manager in NC), but there was no call for her attitude or tone with me when I questioned the lack of appropriate signage. Lastly, and I will stop venting, the manager made the clerk hand the 9 that she was returning before the clerk could finish scanning me out... glad that the customer’s time is not important either.

I used to work at this food lion for a few months and the management is HORRIBLE . Janice Mattoch is the definition of Micro Manager . She used to follow me in the restroom and ASK WHAT I WAS DOING . “grey what are you doing in here?” everytime I take a restroom break is something I will NOT miss hearing. I called to ask why my check had been withheld for TWO WEEKS , and all she could tell me is that I should have put in a two weeks when I quit and proceeded to hang up .. 😐 I wish I could give negative stars but unfortunately I cant .

It has easy access to the parking lot both getting in and out. There is a problem with fast check out 3 out of 5 visits. Not enough checks opened. Most times there us only 1. Prices are a bit high I usually buy on sale. Produce is small and a bit high. They have a deli/bakery. They have a meat dept. It is for me convenient from work and at lunch time they have a hot food section that is priced well and beats normal fast food.

I actually used Food Lion to go for the first time and it was super easy to place the order and then go pick it up on my own time. If any of the products I asked for were not in stock the shopper will take photos of alternatives. I was nervous about shopping online and then pick up but the process was streamline, fast, easy, and convenient for me. All product and produce that I purchased were in great condition.

We thought that we could grab some food from the hot bar and continue on with our travels, but it was inedible so we had to stop on down the road. Come on Food Lion. Travelers will put up with a lot, but not horrible food. That stuff was was not fit for a dog. I'll never make that mistake again.
