So I arrive at 936 to buy dog food & guess what? They are closed. The one on Liberty Hwy started closing at 8pm from staffing, the other one on Mechanic St in Pendleton used to close due to staffing and at tines inventory but I thought surely this one would be open. It's not the end of the world but more times than not now they are closing early in this area & though small it's super inconvenient when you count on them being open in a pinch. ...I'm writing this from Walmart ..ugh but at least they are opened

The new manager, Wanda, has the cleanest, most well-stocked dollar general I’ve ever been in. The floors were clean, the shelves were stocked. I could actually find what I needed and then some. Great experience.

Store was cluttered. Shelves are poorly stocked with items. Been in 2 days in a row and this store hasn't had several things I have been looking for. Highly recommend to visit another Dollar general. There is one maybe a 10 minute drive down on 187 that stays better stocked and isn't cluttered.

What an absolute mess….never stocked up on anything, it’s like a jungle gym to climb over carts and carts of unpacked items. Dirty store, an absolute mess. This location is awful. It closes in the middle of the day for no reason at all. You’ll just go and the doors will be locked. Most of them are this way anymore, at least in this area. Maybe instead of keep building new ones they should pay attention to the old ones and get them right

Strangely, this Dollar General is consistently understocked while simultaneously having nearly every (already very narrow) aisle blocked up with carts of half-shelved product. Staff is rarely at the register, and they've adopted a little "ring for service" bell at the register.That said, the staff are always courteous and likeable. The few who have been rude or nasty with customers have all vanished quickly, though some of the better ones a short-lived, too.Out of convenience, I will always shop here, and hope to see the day that the company decides to properly motivate quality employees via a living wage.

The clerk working today 7-2-2022 was extremely rude to a customer who came back in for a receipt. She told the customer that she didn't have time to look for her receipt. The customer was extremely nice and didn't deserve to be talked to in such a rude manner. It is 6:48 pm. The clerk who is female yelled at the other clerk for helping the lady. She said, we don't have time for this and she is holding up the line. I was the in the line with one other person. To yell at the other clerk and customer in front of other customers is uncalled for. The needs to be addressed about this issue.

Wish I could give them a zero! Second time I've stopped here mid day and they are closed. Terrible store. I thought Walmart was bad, but DG is competing on who can be the worst store ever!

Can feel a bit cluttered since they squeeze a lot of products into a tiny space; however, it's more convenient than Walmart, and have comparable & sometimes lower prices. Their staff is always friendly as well! 🙂

It's a dollar general. It's pretty much what you expect from one. A dollar store that hopefully has that one thing you're looking for and don't want to go to Walmart. Or they're out of it. Again. But at least the workers are friendly, and most of them wear their masks. As far as dollar stores go, it's alright.

This store is horrible. It is never stocked. You can't even walk because of all of the boxes of stuff that should be on the shelves. I don't understand how corporate or a manager is ok with a store being like this. It's ridiculous. If this stores sells are down its because all if its inventory is in boxes in the middle of the aisles.

When you literally have to ask the cashier for bags to bag your own product. I had bought decorative boxes. Now she stacked the boxes on another and expected me to carry 5 boxes not in bags and 2 bags together. Thanks for the reason I will not be back. With health problems, I really didn't appreciate how I was treated and laughed at because of the way she handled my purchase. Worse store I've ever seen and been in.

The store has a funny lay out compared to their other stores. The staff are nice though. The sign is hidden behind a tree so it's hard to see coming down the road until you are right on it.

They still run out of stock at times. But are so much better now!They've come a long way, but still a work in progress.They need all the support they can get.Keep up the good work y'all.You're doing Super!!

This store is a fire hazard. Shelves are bare...boxes fill the aisle...can't even walk down the aisle.Filthy place! It is unlike any Dollar General I have ever been in. Need to shut it down.

I love this store is so close and always neat as a pin until now! The last couple of times the store has been a wreck and you can't even push a buggy down the isle. Since they got rid of the manager Janet it's went way down hill. Bad move DG!

The lady that works there at night is polite and actually knows where stuff is in the store! Kudos to this Dollar General! Best one I have been in so far. Always neat and clean!👌

Service center is getting better, have been going thru a transition period I believe, a lot of turn over in employees. But the store for the most part is clean and uncluttered compared to the Pendleton store. I do like their prices.

I love this store. They carry some products I can't get anywhere else and it is inexpensive. Sure, some things are cheaper at Walmart but they are not less than 1mile from my house.

I gave them 3 stars originally, BUT now I give em 1. They are VERY unprofessional.. They will profile you, they talk bad about their employees to customers and they are very immature.. I would go into detail but it's not important.. The one in Pendleton might be older but at least the staff are wayyy more friendly and not Fake

Every time they have a good manager,they fire them and hire an idiot. Plus they need to keep stock carts out of the aisles during business hours. This applies to all dollar generals,not just this one.

It's Dollar General so I know what to expect, a convenient location, great prices on necessities, milk, phone chargers, etc. But don't go to DG for chapstick because they're all sold out, every single one in America. (Prove me wrong)

I went in there just to buy pointless stuff as usual. Grizzly bears are majestic symbols of the wild. Bears live in and use a variety of habitat types, playing important roles in each one. This makes them an "umbrella species" meaning that when we protect them and their habitat, we also protect our species. Grizzly bears can also help ecosystems by distributing seeds and nutrients through their scat, occasionally regulating unregulat populations. 10/10 would go in their and buy pointless stuff again.
