Family Dollar is usually very clean, staff is friendly. The store is mostly well stocked. The only problems I have ever encountered is their air conditioning went out several times in the summer. But that was upper management’s fault and employees suffered and worked through it. They are by far superior to Dollar General. They have most of the same stuff with comparable prices in a much better environment.

They have become over priced like iga most of the food items are out dated and staff has bad attitude minus the one or two workers that are actually nice

This places AC has been broken for 5 years, so don't go in the summer. They also had a serious rat infestation a year ago but have really cleaned up since then. The manager isn't the nicest and you can definitely tell the staff don't get paid enough (they're never happy). But they shelves hardly have empty spaces, so if they carry it odds are they have it.

I love the manager & almost all of the employees! With the exception of one girl, everyone is unbelievably positive & friendly. They don't have huge selections being a smaller, chain store, but what they do have is nice,v especially for the price. Also, I'm constantly surprised by some of their selections that I would never have thought would be available in a small town. Personally, I think it's much nicer than the Dollar General, at least the one in Pelion. The employees are why I keep going back though! They're amazing!

A lot of workers here. Remodeling the store and had to wait several minutes for an associate to come ring me up. Young man that did was talking to the other associate and called something "retarded". And never said thank you or gave me my receipt. He was too busy getting outside to smoke and use his phone.

Store just isn't the same anymore. Very dirty. Stuff all over and unorganized. Never seem to have what I go in for. What has happen to management seems like there isn't any.
