Refuse to sell me a bottle of wine because I wouldn’t let her scan my ID. I do not have to give you all my personal information just show you a picture of me and my birthday. She was to lazy to type in the birthday and was rude also the whole store has boxes and overstock in the isles after they where closed today for hours!

I have to say it is much nicer and more organized than the other , no waiting in lines is nice and the manager has been really nice every time I go. honestly I think this has been the best Store experience in town I’ve seen . I’d rather go here than the other one . They are still in the middle of stocking the new store so give them a break if they don’t have everything just yet , but so far it’s been a nice experience.

I would give it zero for the fact that this store stole $20 from me when it's self checkout malfunctioned and I had to go get checked out at the other register with the employee because it wouldn't go through or finished processing my transaction so I got double charged and because it says Family Dollar instead of Dollar General I can't get my money back that this store is currently stealing from me so buyer beware you will probably get robbed at this place and since the lousy manager does not want to help you it's probably because she's pocketing the freaking money

This was my first time visiting this location. I was passing through and stopped to pick up a last minute birthday gift. I was politly greeted as I entered. I found the right gift at a good price. I also got the perfect card along with the materials I needed to wrap the gift. The store was well stocked and organized. Plenty of easy parking available in front of store. The cashier's were on point with fast checkout. The Male and female cashier's working yesterday evening are an excellent team.

The store is always dirty, shelves are rarely stocked. Line is often extremely long. Some staff members are friendly but the assistant manager is incredibly rude. Their credit/debit machines have so many problems. Some product is up out of reach and they have little stools in the aisle. They say they will get it for you. But who will get it? They can’t even open a second register most of the time. Done with this DG!

Fairly well stocked and the employees are nice and actually do their jobs. First time had 2nd employee quickly open 2nd checkout when the line got long without anyone having to ask them to. Blonde haired lady was very nice.

The workers were nice, but they had a good bit of stock sitting in boxes throughout the isles which was kind of an accident waiting to happen... And it wasn't that clean... It seems like it's always like this every time we go in to ANY Dollar General though...

Every dollar general around this neck of the woods are in desperate need of attention. Its not the cashier's fault.. It seems they are all understaffed. The stores are a complete and utter mess. You cant find anything. And if you find where its supposed to be.. It's not there. Get your act together management.. Family dollar is looking a lot better..

I went to the Dollar General in Pelion this morning to get a few items for a baby shower. When I was checking out the computer system was not working therefore it was declining my credit card. There was a long line backing up in the store. The cashier was very apologetic and handled the situation as best she could. A young man who I suppose was a manager told her the system had been restarted. He had not made her aware of the restart. While I was waiting the system needed to be restarted a second time. The problem was still not corrected and yet management told the cashier it had been and went into an office without making sure things were in working order. I paid cash for a card which was the only thing I really had to have out of the $40 purchase I made. When I left the store the problem was still not solved. Management left the cashier in a situation impossible for her to fix. I certainly can't address the outcome of the but I can say management at the time of this occurrence was very poor.

This store has gone down very quickly. Items spread out everywhere. Prices marked wrong...items in "clearance" section is still original price.....went to this one at the end of August and went again right before the hurricane and the same boxes stacked to the top were sitting on the shelves....very dangerous for a child, seeing how it was in there toy section.

Love Dollar General, love the electronic coupons, makes it much easier than scanning coupons. Only complaint is how they show the deducted coupons on the receipt. If you have one of their $2 or $5 dollar coupons they split it across all items purchased so that even if an item has a coupon itself and then you use the $5 store coupon it gets really confusing.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Where to start... For one they have the grouchiest, miserable staff you can find. They dont care about the customers needs or trying to fix problems. Coupon doesnt work..."Not our fault" cant get your card to scan " Not our fault". I dont think customer service is in their vocabulary. Forget trying to use your Dollar General app because items advertised will not be in stock and if they are in the store the products are still in boxes waiting to be stocked on shelves. Forget shopping here if you need a cart or are in a wheel chair because you will not be able to get through the isles. Boxes and trash everywhere. The limited staff and manager are outside smoking and on cell phones EVERY TIME I PULL UP!!!! The store itself is FILTHY. The floors are gross. They have not been cleaned in who knows how long. When you question them about any of these things there is NO personal accountability! It is always someone else's fault. They say they are short staffed. Then you come in and the cashier is complaining to customers about not getting enough hours. I mean the list just goes on and on. My advice is Dollar General corporate needs to do a complete overhaul. Shut this store down and start over!!!!

As Always Dollar General visit was awesome!!! I'm so thankful that their store is so close to me !!! I go there no for just about everything I need or just want lol lol. They have and are build up the variety and selection in every department. I thank you DG for that !!!! If you've NEVER had the experience of going in a shopping .... Rush in... They are Great 👍😊

Some employees are nice, some are nasty. The bathroom is never cleaned. Always dead bugs on floor and looks like it has not been mopped in 6 months.

Dollar General has become a smaller, faster version of Walmart. Easy to go in and get what you need. They usually have what you are looking for and the seasonal aisles are stocked of the things you want with each changing season.

They are always very nice, the manager shes super sweet and I went inside to get my granddaughter who gas passed away some gifts and the lady stopped what she was doing to help me. Thanks much better than the one by kents.

I just bought some wheat thins and the best by date is January 2018. Shouldn't have this on your shelves to sale!!! But everything else was good.

I live in Pelion and have visited this location many times. Every time I have been in I walk out within minutes without purchasing anything because the store always looks dirty, cluttered and disorganized. I've NEVER seen this store clean. Such a shame!

Workers are rarely at register. You have to go look for them. And it always takes forever very slow. Store is always crowded with crates and it looks like they never get moved. Since the store opened its been like this.

Hmm... Off brand products, branded goods that look cheap but are actually tiny quantities in high priced packs. Bread that spoils fast and is more expensive than Walmart.
