They might have what you need in the store but the customer service is far from even a one star. So they shut down the self checkout and have a very unfriendly checker with blue hair standing there. She will not even make eye contact with you, they only words that came out of her mouth was the total due. No thank you, nothing. She is miserable and needs to find employment where she isn’t working with the public.

This is a late post, but I felt it important for the General Management of Dollar General to know about my absolutely terrible experience I had in there store..As I was unloading my buggy, my daughter politely asked the cashier if she could go ahead and check a product we were getting so she could take one out and the cashier rolled her eyes and was extremely rude to her. So rude, that I looked at her and asked if there was a problem?? She ignored me, so I proceeded to tell her if there was a problem, we could pay for that one item and take our business elsewhere. She never apologized, just said, no problem.I am very sad to report that a guy leaving at the same time as us told me he absolutely hated coming to this store because of her rudeness and even worse, I then found out she was the Manager...??I absolutely have never seen such poor leadership and example for other employees.If she had ever worked for me and once acted in that manner to any customer, she would have been let go.I don't know if companies are just that short handed or just aren't concerned because they think people in the community can't shop else where.

Convenient location and typically has a decent inventory. Store is also typically clean, but the employees are terrible.The previous group of employees were mostly friendly but I'm not sure any of the current employees have even thanked me for my business once. In customer service, no customer should leave without being thanked. They act immature and it's they couldn't care less about the customer. Cashiers walk off leaving customers in line without saying a word, and it's pointless to ask where an item is because they don't know.

I knew someone who worked here and she often came to me crying about how horribly the manager treated her. She never does her job, constantly attacks other people, and most of things she says aren't true. She has the mentality of a 17 year old at the popular kids lunch table. There is usually one person overworked at the register, nobody for miles even if customers are yelling for help. The store is disorganized and it takes them way too long to restock everything. One time, someone passed out behind the register and nobody helped them until a customer went behind the register themself to get them up off the floor. I'm extremely disappointed in this store, especially since I don't have a problem in any other dollar general I go to.

DG is one of the fastest growing companies in the country and it's obvious to me why that is. They have a bunch of cheap garbage for sale out in the middle of nowhere. Their prices are good enough and their rural locations mean I don't have to drive 30 minutes for the basics. It's so convenient that I don't even care that the cashiers look like opioid addicts.

MY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AT DOLLAR GENERAL IS ALWAYS GREAT THE STAFF IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME THEY'RE ALL VERY HELPFUL AND I'D SAY THAT THEY WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU NO MATTER WHAT THEY'RE DOING ONE THING THAT I REALLY APPRECIATE AND LIKE IS THAT IF YOU ARE NEEDING SOMETHING IS NOT ON THE SHELF AND IF YOU ASK THEM THEY'LL GO IN THE BACK AND SEE IF THEY HAVE IT IN THE BACK AND IF NOT THEY'LL ORDER IT AND IT'S ALWAYS THERE WHEN I COME BACK TO SHOP AGAIN!!! I don't mind going to the store in Pauline, SC. You usually can find anything you want and they are always willing to take you to it if you don't know where it is located. The manager goes above and beyond her call of duty. I'm very pleased with everything.

Purchased 2 different items from there today that someone already helped there self to steal part of the items and didn't notice till I was home. Store is good and great manager. Sorry people in the area that have a troubling life.

Dollar General was fine. The cashier was helpfully and friendly. A quarter of the pet aisle was in disarray. The rest of the state was organized nicely.

Employees were using profanity as I brought my children into the store! Store was not clean and was talking about inappropriate things as we walked in. We got what we had to get and got out of there......

Dont come to this DG if you want to use digital coupons it manufactures coupons. The staff half the time dont know what they are doing. And they never hardly markdown anything.
